我五六岁的时候，非常喜欢我二哥，因为我大哥在上高中，即将考大学，忙得很，所以他不经常和我瞎闹。只有我二哥，正在上五年级，他的时间很多，所以我常到他家玩。

我二哥很会玩儿，比如：悠悠球、摔跤、双手翻跟头和单手翻跟头……可是，我就是翻跟头总是学不会，哥哥一直教我，还做示范，我也认真学，可就是翻不过去，试了好几遍，总是在快摔倒的时候哥哥接住我，我既害怕，又想翻过去，我们到屋里歇会儿，哥哥玩游戏，我就看，看着看着就想起翻跟头了，我想：我为啥总是翻不过去呢？为什么呢？哦！我知道了，一定是我胆小，怕摔到地上，才翻不过去，不行，我必须翻过去。

商人失去了火把，没有照明的工具，他在黑暗中摸索行走的十分艰苦，他不时碰壁，不时被石块绊倒，跌得鼻青脸肿。但是，正因为它处于黑暗中，所以他的眼睛能够敏捷的感受到洞口透进来的微光，他迎向这缕微光摸索爬行，最终逃离了山洞。

其实他们逃出山洞的成功与否，关键不在于是否用于火把，而是在于持火把行进人的态度、信念与思维方式。那个商人一直抱着能逃出山洞的信心，怒了着、坚持着，最终逃了出来。而山匪呢？他虽然拿着火把，但慢慢的他的信心变成了灰心，不再坚持、不在努力，结果死在洞中。
