In a word, a man who wants to be triumphant must have a strong will, be confident, be diligent. As a saying goes: "no pains, no gains! "

What is the definition of success? I believe different people will have different opinions about it. If anyone asks me what is success for me, I will tell him progress is success for me. I can have small goal or great aim in my whole life. If the goal what I set is too large for me, I will not taste the feeling of success. Or I always set small goals, so I will feel success all the time, which may make me become autophilia and without ambitions. Therefore, I think if I can be better than yesterday or last time, then I am successful.

成功的定义是什么？我相信不同的人会有不同的看法。如果有人问我对我来说成功是什么，我会告诉他进步就是成功。在我的一生中我可以设定很多小的或者大的目标。如果我定的目标对我来说太大了，我就尝不到成功的滋味。或者我设的目标太小了，这样我一直都会处于成功中，这也许会使我变得自恋没有雄心壮志。因此，我觉得要是我能够比昨天或者上一次好，这样我就算成功了。

小时候，妈妈经常语重心长的对我说：“勤奋是成功的关键”。这句话告诉我只要想做好一件事，就要付出汗水，如果你不勤奋，成功就会离你远去。对于这句话，我有深刻的体会。

我寒假里报了一个轮滑班，开始觉得很有趣，可后来非常苦，练习会基本姿式以后，开始练习，轮滑鞋不由自主地滑来滑去，控制不住就滑一跤，一节课下来，屁股快摔成8半了，可轮滑一点长进也没有，滑时，我脚下仍然象踩着一团黑黑的乌云，时刻都有被雷劈的危险，我只好无奈的对妈妈说：“轮滑太苦了，不好学，我不想学了”！妈妈再次语重心长的说：”你忘了妈妈以前说的话吗”？我豁然开朗，放弃了报怨，回到屋里写作业了，第二天，在我上轮滑的时候，我记住了那句铭记在心的话，上课时，我不停的练习，自由活动时，我还在练，终于，功夫不负有心人，在我的拚命练习下，我不但学会了老师教的，还自学了一种花样，再滑时，我脚下象踩了一朵幸福的云。

勤奋是成功的关键，这句话如同一个火苗，点燃了我的希望之火。

Some Advices about Success

I have some good advice for your work. If you can do the following things， you will succeed in doing everything.

Firstly， whatever you do， you must be punctual and hard-working. If you sow a good seed， you will get a good harvest. If the seed is in poor quality， the harvest will also be very bad. And if you sow nothing， you will get nothing at all. Nothing.

Secondly， you must be honest. As honesty is the moral tuition that everyone should have. If you treat other people friendly and sincerely， others will also respect you.

Thirdly， you must be tolerant to others， since no one is perfect in the world. Everyone has his own faults， but if you can see everything on other persons perspective， there will be no problem at all.

Whats more， when you are in a big company， you should not only respect the leaders， but also get on well with the colleagues. Sometimes， you should try to please your boss， so that you could have more chances to be promoted.

Last but not the least， dont ignore the little things， because such a little thing will have a great effect on your life. So you should start yourselves at the bottom， in order to get enough working experience. As you have enough working experience， nothing you will be afraid.

There is no doubt that we all want to be successful. But what’s the main

concern of the way to success? From Abraham Lincoln’s famous remark, “Give me

six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the

axe”, I learn that if we want to achieve success, we must make full preparation

for it.

Only if we are well prepared, can we catch the opportunity which occurs

once in a while. In our daily life, we have to expand our horizon and lay a

solid foundation for success. It will be a long way to be successful thus we

have to accumulate our knowledge day by day. And we can’t achieve success in one

or two days. It will help us solve problems more efficiently if we have a broad

horizon. What’s more, opportunities always occur out of our expectation so we

have to make ourselves well prepared. If we prepared, we will catch up with it

whenever it comes up.

Opportunities give priorities to the people who make preparation for them.

What’s more, success goes along with opportunities. We should develop the

ability to solve problems in different and efficient ways therefore we can make

our way to success more easily.

As the saying goes” Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.” I think what the most important to your personal success is the positive attitude, instead of the raw talent.

Edison, who is the king of invention, once said”Genius is one per cent inspiration and ninety-nine per cent perspiration.”  Though the aptitude is vital to some extent, there are still numerous examples which can show the magic power of the positive attitude. Confucius, the great Chinese ideologues, was no smarter than his brother when young. But Confucius has the firm faith and he worked very hard, which leading to his later success. Even if Hocking has a disabled body, but his thoughts are free and he is optimistic to this world. It’ was the optimism bring him to the peak of physics where no people can get to.

From my point of view, no matter what great talent you have had or even if you have to face the problem beyond you, the positive attitude is always a key to open the window and let the sunshine in. Write down your personal plan, don’t be afraid of the challenge ahead, and make the most of the every chance. Also, find out the precious experience from the failure and strengthen the advantage you have. More smile, more efforts, more sweat, and more optimism to your life, then, the wonderful way to success will appear ahead.
