With improved living conditions, particularly in the countryside, people tend to have larger families. As a result, the world population has increased so rapidly that it has now exceeded 6 billion.

But the overgrowth of population presents a threat to the existence of human society. A large population demands a GREat deal of food supply and shelter space. With the development of industry, water pollution is becoming more serious now. The polluted water not only kills fish, it is also harmful to our health. Many people get sick because they drink the polluted water. In some rivers the water is so dirty that they can even kill plants.

We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things. I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have clean rivers again.

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Those who travel in life without direction sometimes turn confused and even lose their confidence . Considering the benefits of living a life of purpose , we seem to should establish our purpose as soon as possible . But we need to be careful to choose the purpose that will be suitable enough for ourselves .In my opinion ,the purpose of life must include two necessary aspects——Work and Love . Work is the basic purpose of our life . As a youngster,you are supposed to try your best to find the job which you love from the bottom of your heart. Then you may dedicate yourself to it with all your enthusiasm. Charles Moyers explains these :“Make sure the thing you’re living for is worth dying for . ”

On the other hand , only work is not enough to lead a life of purpose .Loving our families and taking care of friends are also indispensable parts in our life. When people really love their families ,they will surely find the purpose of life.In other words , our emotions can be surely content when we stay with our families and friends. One’s life without love is like the sky without sunshine. Work and Love play the most important two roles in the purpose for which we seek throughout our life . But other aspects such as devotion and learning knowledge also have an deep influence on our life . These things affect our behaviour and values more or less ,even though most of us can’t realize it clearly . As the saying goes :“When we do good , we feel good , and we are good.” Set the correct purpose of your life now , And you will make a difference to your life.

To tell you the truth，I don t like the Spring Festival at all.

When I was young I liked it very much，because I could had something tasty to eat during the Spring Festival，and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes，too，I also could had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do.

I don t like it now， there are many reasons.

Firstly，I can t have a good time during the Festival.

Every New Year s Eve something unpleasant often happens.

Once I quarreled with my second brother.

Secondly，I can t relax myself during the Festival.

I have to do many things，watch so many TV programmes， meet so many people，all these things make me very tired.

Thirdly，spending one Spring Festival means that I become one year older，I don t like to be old.

I want to live longer and be young all the time.

Water is very important to us. If you don’t have water for three days, you will die. We can use water for flowers, swimming, washing and many different things. We use it to cook, make electricity, and put out fires and so on. We use millions of liters of water every day.

Do you know how does the water come to your home? It travels through water pipes. Some are long and wide but some are short and narrow. Then the water travels through the water pipes to the reservoirs. Then it travels through the water pipes to the river and to the special factories that purify the water. When the water is purified, we can drink it. Please don’t leave garbage in the water on which we line, and keep the water clean.

August, September and October are the months of kites flying, because the wind blows north-westwards. During these months, many Wonderful kites are flying in the blue sky.

One day as the school was over, Qin Bo, my classmate, called me accompanying him to have kite flying at the big grass field. I had not been flown kite for a long time. So I promised him at last, when I reached there at five, I found him waiting for me.

Many boys were flying their kites higher in the sky. They were excited when they found their kites win another’s. They shouted with joy and jumped up and down.

Not long after, Qin Bo’s kite was in the sky, but mine was not. I was so disappointed that I wanted to give up. But I thought how disgraceful I was. So I asked Qin Bo to exchange the kites. Oh! His kite was wonderful. It was so light that it flow higher than the kites of all. He told me why my kite could not fly because it was maderoughly; the head was heavy, and the end was light, I agreed and made up my mind to make a new kne that would fly high in the sky.

I like my school life very much,it is very interesting.I usually reach school at half past seven.Then we do morning exercises at eight oclock.We have eight lessons every day.
