在腊月二十八这一天，大人们都在忙碌。忙着杀鸡、杀鹅，购买对联、字画。小孩子们呢？都在干什么呢？我们小孩子就跟着一些比较大的哥哥或姐姐一起去后面山上摘一些煮水的东西。例如：黄竹叶、柚子叶等，洗走一年的霉气，干干净净地迎接下一年的到来。这一洗，就是好几天。

年30，早上杀鸡，富有的杀了7、8只，穷人也会杀上1、2只；快12点的时候，同宗的几户人家便集中在祠堂里，摆上鸡、鱼、猪尾巴（年底吃尾巴）等玩意，开始一年里最大规模、最隆重的祭祖活动，还要请文化人念几十年不变的祭文，其内容无非是什么“求学者早入功门、求福者福如东海、求财者财源广进、求寿者寿比南山”之类的美好愿望，祭完先人，就正式开始过年啦！

年30晚上，吃团年饭，孩子最开心的时刻也要到了，因为父母吃完饭一般会发压岁钱，然后放烟花，磕瓜子，到了午夜12点的时候，老爸便会放上长长的一挂鞭炮，关闭院子的大门，美其名曰“封财门”，“财门”一封，自然不能轻易开启；

年初一，早早起床，洗漱完毕，整个院子的人集合，再在祖宗灵前烧上3支香，然后依次点燃长长的鞭炮，鞭炮一般能燃放10余分钟，（越富有的人家，鞭炮的响声会越持久，长的达半个小时，会在长长的竹竿上绕得密密匝匝的）同时开启除夕夜封掉的“财门”，放完鞭炮，参与者互贺新年，然后回屋吃饭。这景直到大年初六才彻底结束

大年的又一个高潮来临了，元宵上市。这一天，一点也不比新年逊色，家家户户灯火通宵，家家户户都点蜡烛，也全都拿出了自己的玩意拿出来玩。

这就是崇阳的春节，是不是多姿多彩的呢？

Spring Festival, for me, is both happy and unforgettable. I like the spring festival very much.

The new years Eve, our one family will sit down and eat dumplings, on behalf of one family reunion, the family gathered at twelve every staying-up late on new years Eve, shooting, its a new year.

First of the month, for the first year of the year, commonly known as "Spring Festival" we have to get up early, wear new clothes to visit the year. Spring Festival is also my favorite festival, because it can have the age of money. Several days before the new year,people begin to prepare.Farmers kill pigs,sheep,cocks and hens.City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables.Houses are cleaned； coupletsare posted on the doors.Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the new year,each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner.After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve.Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year.On the first day of the new year,almost everyone is dressed in his or her best.When people meet on the way,they say to each other "Happy New Year".Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other.Children indulge themselves in games.
