During the Spring Festival, Chinas Han nationality and some ethnic minorities have to hold various celebration activities. These activities are to ancestor worship God, pay homage to their ancestors, Chujiubuxin, Ying Fuk Jubilee then, pray for good harvest as the main content, rich and colorful form, with rich ethnic characteristics. Influenced by Chinese culture, some of the Chinese character culture circle of some countries and nationalities also have the custom of celebrating the spring festival. People in the Spring Festival this day as far as possible to return home and family reunion, expressing the hope for the next year and the new year of lifes good wishes.

Yesterday was my birthday， so some of my classmates sent me presents。

The Spring Festival

The Spring Festival， Chinese Happy New Year，is the most important festival for all of us. All family members get together on Happy New YearEve to have a big meal.At the same time， everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 oclock，some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly. We may watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy it is!

On the first early moring of one year， many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some houses windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.

The Chinese Happy New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days， we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time， children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents， uncles， aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese Happy New Year is another festival. It names the Lantern Festival.

So the Chinese Happy New Year comes to the end.

My best friend is Jim. He is a cool boy. He has curly blond hair, big

eyes and a small mouth. He likes to eat strawberries and bananas, and he loves

sports. He often plays basketball in the school playground. He watches sports

every night. He has good manners and studies well, so everyone likes to make

friends with

him.

I went to summer camp on vacation. On the first day, we went to a beautiful

beach. It was a sunny and hot day, so we went swimming. The water was warm and

we had great fun. Then the next day, we went to the mountains. There were many

trees and I really enjoyed them. On the last day, we had a great party. We sang

and danced happily. We didn’t want to leave(离开) the friends and the teachers. I

hope I can go to summer camp again next year.
