Life is an endless voyage, as theres no destination in our life. Life is also very fickle, since anything may happen in our life. We may be successful or defeated at any time.

The day we were looking forward to came at last----a weeks military training began.

一个星期天的晚上，我们家里来了一位“不速之客”――老鼠。于是，我们全家四口人全都动员起来，开始了我们的灭鼠行动。俗话说得好“老鼠过街，人人喊打”，老鼠的确是惹人讨厌的，不仅会破坏东西，而且它传染的鼠疫更是令人可怕。我们商量着用守株待兔的方法，耐心地等待在老鼠经常出没的地方，但是这种方法并不奏效，别看它鼠目寸光，但它的嗅觉却是很敏感的。没办法，只能用上“老鼠笼”了，我们把鲜美的肉放在笼里，等着它不打自招。但过了半个多钟头，依然没什么动静，我们很着急，突然，“咚”的一声，老鼠终于忍不住鲜美的肉的诱惑――上当了。哇，好大的一只老鼠呀，足足有两三斤重。这次行动还算较成功的。但“老鼠笼”绝不可用第二次，狡猾的老鼠已知道前车之鉴的后果了。
