It was October 12th yesterday. My friends held a birthday party for me. In

People are enjoying the comfortable life of the modern civilization,

meanwhile, they are also experiencing more and more competitions and suffering

much more stress than before.With the tremendous rhythm of living imposed by

todays world, it isnt unusual for people to feel tired and to try to evade from

the daily problems and stress. I think that there is no magic way that is

joy of life. For me the best activities to reduce stress and to forget about

because you can evade from concerns by going out with them, talking about things

Yesterday, I felt very tired. When I was in class, I felt sleepy and could not listen to the teacher carefully. And I did not want to eat anything at home. I went to bed early. 冬爷爷不打一声招呼就带着雪娃娃、雨姐姐来了，又要过年了，我们很欣喜，因为过年应该是我们小孩子最喜欢的节日了，因为可以有“毛爷爷”了，嘻嘻，真是太高兴了。这不，今天我家过年了，而我的二姨妈也从云南回来啦，真是太高兴了。下面你愿意和我一起去过年吗?

Everybody knows that our life is very short, so the great educators always

advocate us to do what we like and pursue for our goals bravely. Most people

have many ideas in their minds and they dare not to take action, because

thinking of the effort they make but what if they accomplish nothing, so they

decide to give up and just live the boring life. It reminds me of the famous

words, some people just die at age of 20 but only to be buried at the age of 70.

As we are young and full of energy, it is a good time for us to fight for our

With the rapid process of modernization, computer becomes more and more

popular. Nowadays, almost every family has a computer. Because of computers, our

daily life is improving.

has so many functions. As we have computers, we neednt buy books, radios, TVs

生活中的我也有不忍心拒绝他人的事。以前的的我与那只小老鼠一样心慈手软，不懂得拒绝。记得是三年级时，一个好朋友拜托我帮她抄写作业，我想也没想就一口答应了。但是让我意想不到的是，作业“浩如烟海”，作业连篇，能抄完自己的那份作业已经很不错了。

居然要两份双倍!我拼了命似的抄，抄得头痛腰酸，手都快抽筋了也抄不到一半。结果那个好朋友以为我“偷工减料”，好长时间对我不理不踩的，而我换来的后果是我的手发麻了。就是没有一声小小的拒绝，令我们双方尴尬不已，而最严重的受害者还是赶鸭子上架——吃力不讨好的自己。

也是在那一次后，我每逢遇到一些不能自己把握的事，我都会选择拒绝。人生也这样，你如果碰上自己不能力所能及或把握不住的事，千方不能碍于朋友或面子的关系而去答应，那只会令你在激烈的社会竞争中，输得一败涂地!

最可耻的，不是拒绝，是强求。

在我上幼儿园一来，听过好多母爱的故事，学过好多好多篇关于母爱的课文，也听过赞美母爱的话。我记得最清楚的一句是“母爱如海，爱很伟大。”可是我却没有明白到底是什么是母爱。我怀着要明白母爱的心愿，对着星空许了心愿，并且在在成长之路上寻找起来!

心愿很快实现了，在一次国庆节舞蹈比赛后，我似乎明白了什么是母爱。在十月一日这天，我去参加了舞蹈比赛，虽然取得了二等奖的好成绩，我和爸爸妈妈都很高兴。但是事情总是喜忧掺半的，我对表演的衣服过敏，只要和皮肤接触到的地方，都长满一层小疙瘩，妈妈看见后非常着急。带着我赶紧去了诊所看医生，但是诊所关门了，医生出去旅游了，怎么办啊?看着妈妈焦急的样子，我便安慰妈妈说没事。“傻孩子，还没事啊，看你痒的样子!”妈妈说。回家后妈妈想想老家的偏方，用一种叫做“八角枫的草药”熬了一大锅水来熏蒸小疙瘩，因为怕烫着，所以妈妈也陪我在洗澡间用毛毯盖着，热气熏得得我满头大汗，热的受不了，妈妈也是被热得满头大汗。

这时，我的小心窝感到暖暖的，似乎感觉到了什么。啊!这也许就是母爱吧，她好温暖啊!我使劲的感觉着，那温暖的母爱!久久不愿离开!我的心愿实现了，心里暗暗得感谢那个星空，同时也再次许下了美好的心愿，希望可以通过自己的努力，将来成为一名出色的女科学家，为国家的未来创造辉煌!

With the development of society, the competition of the entire society is

more and more intense, causing increasing pressure to people. Stress of study,

work and life are ubiquitous, but how can we deal with it? Here are some tips

that I hope can be useful.

Firstly, keep good health. A healthy body is the premise to face presure.

It’s the least capacity to cope with stress when a person is sick. Secondly, to

accept the pressure. The reason why many people can not cope with stress is that

they resist and escape it. Actually, there always is trouble and problems once

we chose a path to go, because almost everything worth doing is not so easy.

Thirdly, solve the problem, rather than complain about it. Many people complain

about the surroundings and don’t think about the solutions when faced with

problems. We all know that complaint can do nothing but only let you down. As

long as the problem not solved, the pressure is always there. Fourthly, tell

others your pressure and get help from them. Lots of pressure can’t be solved by

our own and the rational way is talking the pressure to workmates or friends to

get help from them. But the premise to do so is that we don’t intend to put

pressure to others but to seek help and support to solve problems.

Of course, there also are some other ways to cope with stress, such as

readjusting goal and expectation, playing games to relax, even shopping or

eating. But no matter how, solving the problem that causes stress is the best

way.

今天，我和爸爸妈妈开车去濮阳科技馆，在科技馆的不远处有绿色庄园和濮上园。科技馆很高，上面有个大球。我们把车停在了科技馆的停车场，爸爸去买了三张门票，我们就进入了科技馆，里面有许多科学模型，我看到有个模型叫：万丈深渊，它有两镜子相对着，往下一看，真的看不见头。

Like tangible cultural heritages such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden

City, intangible cultural heritages like Peking Opera and

Confucius-commemorating rituals are equally crucial. We should make our utmost

efforts to preserve intangible heritages because, without their physical form of

existence, they are in greater risk of extinction.

According to UNESCO’s Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible

Cultural Heritage (2003), all forms of social customs and habits, folklore,

performing arts, rituals, oral traditions, festivals, traditional crafts and

various knowledge and practices about nature and universe can be classified as

intangible cultural heritages. As a country consisting of a great diversity of

ethnic groups and with time-honored history and civilization, China abounds in

intangible cultural heritages. Cultural heritages connect modern people with the

historical past, allowing them to acquire a cultural and historical identity.

Without cultural heritages, we would be rendered absolutely rootless and we

would find it hard to cope with challenges at present and in the future.

However, the modernization process poses mounting threats to intangible

heritages. Many people have a blind faith in the latest electronic devices. It
