忙了差不多2个小时，生日派对的时间都差不多到了。首先来我生日派对的是我的死党——雪恩和诗婷。他们一来到我家，妈妈的“工作”就开始了，那就是招待客人。我帮妈妈端了橙汁给雪恩和诗婷，他们喝了橙汁便立刻赞不绝口。没办法啊!这是客人的口头禅，每个橙汁都是一样那么好喝的，可他们却赞得这橙汁只有我们这一家泡得那么好喝。我都笑得合不拢嘴，妈妈、姐姐，爸爸也不例外。

i spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. i used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation i simply could not afford to do so. i would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. though those examinations were still a year away, i had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things i had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. at first i was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later i thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer i could count on endless happy summers to come. with this in mind i then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. i was not at all bored by this kind of life, for i was sustained by a hope.

Last May 4th was my birthday. I had a party at my home.

今天是7月23号。今天我16岁了。我将在家里举办一个聚会，我等待我所有朋友的到来。他们会带来什么？许多美丽的礼物。

我的父母准备了很多好吃的东西和饮料。在聚会上我们玩游戏，唱歌，跳舞和听音乐。我认为我们将度过一段美好的时间。

今年，我十岁了;今年，我们全校的三年级同学大部分也都十岁了，就连我们的学校也十岁了。正是因为这样，我们学校今天专门举行了一个隆重而又热烈的十岁生日集体派对，还邀请了蓝天民工子弟学校的同学们也来和我们一起庆祝这个具有历史意义的庆典。

中午的时候我们去体育馆参加生日派对第一项活动。体育馆里人头攒动、熙熙攘攘，都是和我们一样的三年级学生，台上站着两个演讲者，从空中俯视就像一大群蚂蚁在啃一个苹果。刚刚那门庭若市、车水马龙的情景以迅雷不及掩耳之势变得鸦雀无声，突然响起了我们的少先队队员队歌，接着又陆续响起了那豁亮的《少先队版小苹果》。

忽然，蓝天民工子弟学校的同学上了台，用笛子吹出了清脆而又美妙的声音，台下的人纷纷陶醉在这天籁之音中，过了一会一儿，我们又陆陆续续得走上台去集体拍照，留作十岁生日的永久纪念，融入实验小学青湖校区的光辉历史，写进灿烂的校史长河之中。

全校的集体活动结束后，我们又回到教室。我们惊奇地发现教室桌上摆着两个大蛋糕，蛋糕的香味沁人心脾，我们许多同学都馋得口水直流，虽没有三千尺，也够长的哦。

吹灭十岁生日的蜡烛，唱完甜蜜温馨的“祝你生日快乐”歌曲后。老师就把蛋糕平均切割成五十二份，像慈母一样认真地分给我们每一位同学。我们边吃边闹，边游戏，场面真是热闹非凡，气氛显得格外喜庆而有动人。老师不停的环顾教室四周的每一个角落，看见了我们这一张张色彩斑斓，五花八门的奶油嘴，奶油脸，露出和蔼可亲的笑容。

我心里想：今天，竟然我们十岁了，我们要告别童年，走进少年，我们就不能在继续过那种衣来伸手，饭来张口的生活了，我们应该要学会独立，学会自立。我们迟早要走进社会生活，我们要尽快学会做一个能自食其力的人;我们要学会做一个有骨气、有教养、有理想、爱学习、成绩优异的男子汉。

Dear BILL,

This Sunday is my twenty birthday party. I’m writing to inviting you to at my home at 6pm. As my best friends, I hope you can come. I also have invited many of our classmates, some of whom you have met before. There will be lots of entertainments and plenty of food and drink. You can be dressed casually.

Last May 4th was my birthday.I had a party at my home.

去年5月4日是我的生日.我有一个聚会在我的家.

My relatives and friends came to my home in the evening.And I got a lot of presents from them.My mother prepared a big birthday cake for me.

我的亲戚和朋友来到我的家里在晚上.我收到了很多礼物从他们.我的妈妈准备了一个大的生日蛋糕给我.

There are even candles on it.After singing the song “Happy birthday”,I shared the cake with my friend and relatives.Then we watched TV and listened to music.Same of the girls danced with the music.We had a good time that day.
