In the east of China,there is a small city---Haimen.I was born

there.Today,I am telling you about my hometown.

Haimen is not far from Shanghai.Its at the mouth of the Changjiang

River.Haimen is a modern city.There are lots of high buildings in it.Most of us

live in flats.We like to live in flats because we can be close to our friends.In

the center of Haimen,there are many shops.You can buy some nice things

here.Things in most shops arent expensive.You can pay a little money and they

are yours.

My hometown is a beautiful city.On each of the roads,there are some big

trees and nice flowers.The roads are also very clean.They make people happy and

comfortable.The seasons here are very nice.I like autumn best.Its neither hot

nor cold.A poem says “Flyer of summer come to my window to sing,then fly

away.And yellow leaves of autumn,which have no songs,just fall there with a

sign.” Its very cool.

I love Haimen.Its a nice place to live.Welcome to my hometown.

蔚蓝的天空上一丝云彩也没有，只有一个大火球肆意将大地烤烧。

是啊，竟是一个热得连蚊子都不敢出门的日子。我正在空调房内狂打游戏，“叮叮”我接了电话，原来是老姐找我去游泳，哇噻，真的是打瞌睡遇枕头——碰上了，我也正有此意，不禁激动得两眼发光，连声说好。我都不记得我是如何飞奔过去的，只记得心里像揣了个小兔子似的。

我们姐妹俩换好泳衣，便来到池边，只见姐姐一跳，整个人像弹簧一样飞到空中，又像陨石一样飞速坠落，“哗啦”一声，水花四溅，姐姐飞快窜入水中，像一条美人鱼似的轻快的游着，灵活地扭动四肢。我看见了，也非要一展身手，硬是邯郸学步似的‘扑通’跳进水中，结果呢，没游半厘米，便飞速沉没。

这下好了，洋相出尽了不说，还喝了一肚子水，在水中那一刻，我忘记了挣扎，悠悠地沉落。还是老姐厉害，就在我快窒息的时候，老姐拎小鸡一样把我拎起来，拉起我往岸上游。哦，我的妈，打死我也不游了，我吓得躲在岸上，老姐连拖带拽我才答应了，我带着一点好奇，死死的抓住铁杆，用脚点了点水，冰凉冰凉的，我小心翼翼的用脚摸索着，好，点到地了，我的心终于落了。

我慢慢松开死抓着铁杆的手，脚一缩，浮起来了，哈哈，我悬起脚，我划，我划划划，咦，我怎么向后飘去了，我一急，游泳圈翻了，随着“啊”的一声，又吃一肚子水，委屈的泪水像开了闸的江水一样滔滔不绝，不料，引起了所有人的注意，大家像看恐龙一样看我，我的脸瞬间变成猴屁股，我不哭了，我又划了起来。功夫不负有心人，在我坚定不移的.决心促使下，我终于学会用游泳圈有用了。虽然喝了半池子的水，虽然只挪动一小步，但是我终于成功了!

A funny thing happened during the summer vacation.

就在昨天，我做完了语文和数学作业，正准备好好放松一下，却不由自主地想到了英语作业本上少得可怜的钩。算了，为了能听懂英语老师讲课的内容，为了能看懂英语书上的单词，为了能按时交上英语作业，为了期末英语考试不抱。大鸭蛋》······我还是努力搏一搏吧。我一边想一边大义凛然地抱起英语书背起了单间spring、...ing"···春季。。我机械地背着单词，反反复复，心里却不时地想这外国人可真够怪的，创造的单词怎么这么难背，我还不信我背不出!

不知不觉10分钟过去了，20分钟过去了，一个钟头过去了······。天哪，我怎么才背了一个单元的单词?为什么我不是外国人啊!。一番感叹后，又忘了几个单词，照这速度，我的"周末计划"肯定要泡汤了。没办法，谁让我的英语不咋地呢!用一甸话来概括我当时的心情，真可谓。哥背的不是单词，是烦恼。。后天就是周末了，看来这个周末我只能在枯燥的背单词声中结束了，一想到这些，就觉得自己好可怜。真烦啊!

让我烦恼的英语啊，你何时才能成为我的快乐呀?

今天，我响应学校的号召，在家当了一天的“家长”，妈妈当“宝宝”。 Today, I responded to the schools call and became the "parent" for a day at home, and my mother was "baby".

吃完早饭，我就开始做中饭了。我先要“宝宝”帮我看一下冰箱里有什么菜可以烧。“宝宝”说：“有山药和莴笋。”我们就开始准备中餐了。首先，我把山药的灰皮削掉，再切成一片一片圆圆的形状，盛到碗里。又把莴笋皮削掉，也盛到碗里。该切肉了，“宝宝”说怕我切到手指头，这活就交给她来干吧。

这时，我感到肚子有点不舒服，赶紧跑到卫生间。过了一会，我大声喊：“‘宝宝’，快来帮我擦屁股!”“宝宝”故意说：“‘妈妈’，这也需要‘宝宝’来帮忙啊?”是啊，一句话说得我不好意思了!

忙完过后，我们就开始炒菜，在炒菜的时候，一滴油一下子就溅到了我的中指上。“宝宝”吓了一跳，问我：“没事吧?”我说：“没事。”

吃完中饭，我们开始洗衣服。我和“宝宝”一起洗我的脏短裤、羽绒服和在家穿的棉外套，还有爸爸的两双臭袜子。洗完衣服，我就跟着“宝宝”出去办事了。

晚饭在别人家吃，就不用我这个“家长”操心了!我可以提前“下班”啦!

这次当家长，让我知道了家长每天要照顾好我，还要努力工作。默默地付出，真的很辛苦。我一定要好好报答他们。

I didnt go anywhere today. I stayed at home doing my homework and helping my

mother with housework. I realised it was not easy to do so much housework allby

oneself. I should help mother more in the future.

我今天什么地方也没有去。在家帮妈妈做家务。我认识到，一个人做家务不容易。以后我要多帮妈妈的忙。

人人的假期可谓是丰富多彩，可我呢，就纠结在了起不起床这一件事。

现在，我们都放寒假了，我们可能都会在自己那温暖的被窝里迟迟不肯起床，因为起床实在是太冷了，可是你不起床又不行，总不能被饿死吧，这种想法就会缠着那些“选择恐惧症”的“患者”，我就不例外，我就总是纠结。

今天早晨，我睡在床上，手缩在被窝里，因为手一伸出来都很冷。妈妈叫我起床了，我看了看闹钟，呀!都十点了!一般这个时候早就起来了，可是外面太冷啦，不想起来。

我很不情愿地说：“天气冷冷哒，不想起来啦。”

“你快点起来，我们还要到你阿姨家去带王子浚呢!”妈妈说道。

可是我还是不想起来：“妈妈，你去不就行了吗?我去的话，不就又要带多一个了吗?”

“你都多大了，还要带的呀!”妈妈说。

“那也是未成年的少年。”我很有理一般地说着。妈妈终于被我打败了。妈妈妥协后，我对自己说，我一定要十一点起床!这有没有用呢，我连我自己都不知道。

十一点了，我还是遵守了我对我自己说的，起了床。

就只是起个床，有必要这样吗?

这个暑假中，在我的再三要求下，爸爸终于答应和我去乡下钓龙虾。

吃过晚饭，太阳还没有下山的时候，爸爸开着车夕阳的余晖下向乡下进发。过了大约20分钟，我们到达了目的地。我下车后，早就发现这里很多人在钓龙虾了。三两个一伙，有的拿着钓竿，有的拎着水桶。我走近一看，我发现有个人已经钓了大约半桶龙虾了。

我赶紧让爸爸准备好钓竿，我提起水桶就去池塘里钓龙虾。我找个没人的空地，把钓竿放入水中，等着龙虾上钩。这个池塘里的龙虾还真多，我刚把钓钩放下去，就有嘴馋的龙虾来吃食了。我看见龙虾上钩，赶紧提起钓竿，只见一只龙虾被我拉起水面，正当我得意之时，龙虾松开大钳子，回落到水中。我可惜得叹一口气。一连几次，龙虾都上钩了，可是就是钓不上来，我看旁边的人每次龙虾上钩都能钓上岸，失望极了。

爸爸看到了，就教导我说，你看，你太着急了，等龙虾上钩后，要慢慢提出水面，让龙虾失去警觉。如果提得太快，龙虾就感到有危险而放开钳子。我觉得爸爸的话非常有道理，于是按着爸爸说的去钓龙虾。

等龙虾上钩后，我慢慢地提起钓竿，龙虾并没有放开钳子，随着我的钓竿慢慢离开水面。钓竿提到了半空中，龙虾还死死地钳住不放呢。我赶紧把龙虾捉上岸，放入水桶中。看到龙虾在水桶中活蹦乱跳，我高兴极了。

后来，我每每都能得手，到天黑的时候，我已经钓了不少龙虾呢。

What Am I Going to Do in the Summer Holiday

The new summer holiday is coming. As we know, summer is a beautiful season. During the coming summer holiday, I am going to study English. Then I am going to borrow some science books from

the library and discuss problems with my classmates, I’ll help my parents do some housework in my house, and I’ll water the flowers and trees our garden. I am going to play basketball, volleyball and

badminton with my neighbours in the afternoon. At the same time, if my father has time, he’ll teach me to swim. I’ll have fun.

我赞美劳动，因为我们的长辈通过劳动创造了我们这个幸福的家庭，他们为我们付出了许多。爸爸妈妈努力工作，努力挣钱，满足我们日常的生活需求;爷爷奶奶每天为我们做饭，照顾好我们日常的饮食起居;而我们自己也认真学习，闲时帮家里做力所能及的家务。我们家庭里的每一个成员都用自己的劳动，把这个家打理得井井有条，每个人都过得快乐与幸福，这难道不是劳动的功劳吗?

充实的一天

今天是忙碌的，整整一个上午，都是在不断的听写英语、督促同学们学习中度过的，下课了，我就立刻找那些英语单词背不好的孩子听写，课上，便马不停蹄的批作业，并且时刻盯着宇，让她学习。我是喜欢和她一起学习的，感觉她是有那种学习的热情的，可以给我以感染力，又让我充满动力与激情。她也是听话的，只是稍微不仔细了一些，慢慢改正，应该是可以的。

让优秀坚持下去

中午批数学卷时，我分配给了几名学生，他们都欣然接受了，只有艾不想批，我对她说：你不是答应老师可以做值日班长吗?为什么又不要做了?优秀是需要坚持的，今天优秀，明天就不了那算不上优秀。艾似乎觉得有道理，便争着要批卷了。在我看来，艾是个心灵手巧、善于观察的小姑娘，只是有时候不太注意自己是在一个集体中，总做一些特立独行的事情，但这些并不影响她成为一个优秀的人，如果她能把这份优秀一直坚持下去，那真的是不可估量啊!

肩负一份责任

今天，我考了很多同学英语单词，并且让她们的同桌考他们第二轮、第三轮，直到全对为止，其中就有一直很愿意帮助同学的卓，她真是个温文尔雅的好姑娘。还有一个就是让我刮目相看的达，我一直认为学习好的同学只会学习，不会帮助别人，但这一观点，将从今天起转变。我让达督促他的同桌然背单词，达尽职尽责，不仅监督然学习，还一字一句的教他。中午，我见然回到教室开始学习，虽说是在补之前欠的债，但我还是很欣喜的，不多久，达也回来了，是回来帮助然的，着实让我很受感动。在达身上，我看到了一份对同学无私奉献的爱和他那弱小的肩上支起的坚定的责任!相比之下，辛，你要加油了!今天就你没有考呀，至少该对自己负责吧，期待可以看到你主动来找我听写哦!

把机会让给他

下午上了一节令人震撼的语文公开课，不仅因为老师和同学们精彩的配合，更是因为那个多次发言的禹(同学们说他外刚内萌，感觉很有趣)。在这节课快要下课时，老师再次点到了他，但他并没有急于回答，而是说：老师，我把这个机会让给我的同桌，因为他也总举手，可是一次机会也没有得到。顿时，听课的老师们被禹的回答说笑了，包括安老师也包括我，这个笑绝对不是嘲笑，也不是搞笑，而是一种欣慰的笑，一种赞赏的笑。在大家都急于表现自己的时候，禹的这种友情、这种谦让，让所有人为他竖起大拇指，又怎能不令我感动呢?

on the eighth day the fujian people have another family reunion dinner， and at midnight they pray to tian gong， the god of heaven。

the 10th through the 12th are days that friends and relatives should be invited for dinner。 after so much rich food， on the 13th day you should have simple rice congee and mustard greens （choi sum） to cleanse the system。

the 14th day should be for preparations to celebrate the lantern festival which is to be held on the 15th night。

It was the first day of our winter vacation. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In China, people usually have three meal a day, they are breakfast, lunch

and supper.People usually have breakfast from seven to nine in the morning.

There are many kind of food for them to eat, such as nuddles, eggs, fried dough

sticks and soy milk. They have lunch at about twelve at noon, usually have

vegetables, meats and rice. They have a short rest after lunch. Supper is about

at six in the evening. All the family eat together, they eat the same kind of

food as the lunch. Some people like to have some fruits after the meal.

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is coming. Its a traditional North

American holiday,and is a form of harvest festival. In the United States, the

fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving was about

the Pilgrims, the first settlers in America. They shared the first harvest with

the Indians and gave thanks.

Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day. People always celebrate with big

dinners and happy reunions. Pumpkin pie and Indian pudding are traditional

Thanksgiving desserts. Relatives from other cities, students who have been away

at school, and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday

at home.

On that day, Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed

during the year. And I am sure that we all must have a lot to be thankful for.

Last week, I have three days off, so I planned to travel to Guangzhou. During the three days, I witnessed so many things, I open my vision and gain the knowledge. The trip to Guangzhou makes me realize that I could go to anywhere by my own.

开学之际还有四天，快乐而充实的暑假就像一阵风一样，“嗖”的刮过，回想着一个暑假，我只觉得好像玩疯了、玩野了一样，期盼着再玩一个这样的暑假，现在快开学了，我好像还害怕开学，害怕上课了，每天都扳着指头算开学的日子。

就拿今天早晨来说吧，我浑浑噩噩地睡到了九点，一觉起来，觉得浑身无力，或许是昨天着凉了感冒吧、也或许是昨天刘东钊说这个星期天就开学引起了我的注意，我慢慢的爬起身，桌子上摆着妈妈给我备好的饭菜，但不知怎么的，如此色香味俱全的食物也勾不起我的食欲，心中总是想着这一个暑假里我和小伙伴们玩的快乐时光，却怎么也不想面对方方正正的课本、每天一次的作业、和老师的讲课声音，只想着丰富多彩的课外书、每天一次的和朋友们嬉戏和电脑中的流行歌曲声。

我又一次跑到书房去看暑假之前发下来的致家长的安全责任书上的开学日期，有些想奇迹出现的显示出还有一个星期才开学(这充分的显示出我在这一个暑假玩疯了)，但是通知书上写着：8月28日(星期日)早晨7:30分到学校开学。

我心中又想起了这个暑假中的片段，心中感到了一阵惆怅，我跑到了楼下，朋友们一个个都在为开学做着准备，这无时无刻不在向我提醒着：还有几天就要开学了，你也不要做脱缰的野马了，应该好好为开学做做准备了。

我又重新回到书房，看着多日不用的书包和布满灰尘的铅笔盒，我心中突然想起了一个声音：既然这一个暑假已经过去了，就不能再沉浸在这个暑假了，应该打起信心，振作起来，做好万全的一切准备，既然这一个暑假没有报任何学习班，全是在游戏中度过，就更应该准备好，在新学期中带好学习委员的好头，学习成绩再上升起来，既然这一个暑假都是疯玩，那么这一个学期就应该好好用功，这样才是劳逸结合。

旧的暑假已经过去，迎接而来的是全新的学期，在这一个新的学期中，我要发挥自己的长处，发挥自己的作用，发挥自己的优势，争取学习成绩的进步!

I will have a seven-day holiday next week. In these days, I have many

things to do. First, I must finish the exercises left by teachers, Chinese, math

and English. It may take me two days to finish. I plan finish them in the first

and second day. And then, I will go to see my grandparents with mom and dad. I

miss them very much. So do they. I will stay there for three days. The last two

days, I want to have a good rest or play with my friends. It’s my own time, so

that I want to spend it with my friends. This is my plan for the holiday. What
