The way people hold the belief that a fun-filled， pain-free lifestyle

equals happiness actually reduces their chances of ever obtaining real

happiness. If fun and pleasure are equal to happiness，then pain must be equal to

unhappiness. But in fact，the opposite is true： more often than not things that

lead to happiness contain some pain.

溪水一汪如明镜，晶莹清澈无杂质。仿佛是一块浑然天成的璞玉般，溪水静静地流淌着，流着流着，仿佛流进了我的心里，冲刷走了心里所有的忧愁烦闷。

倒映在泛着细小涟漪的溪水上的，是我眉头紧蹙的脸。因为考试没考好而心情不佳的我，在这个中秋三天小假期里心情堵塞郁闷，无奈之下才到森林里踏青游玩，想像柳宗元一样寄情于山水中排遣心中的愁烦苦闷。然而却如一块大石压在心头般沉甸甸地，令人喘不过气来。

我郁闷至极地蹲在溪水边，伸出双手掬起一捧清澈甘甜的溪流，触手时只感觉一片温润。我微微一怔，好奇地把双手托得高高的，在高处把水流倒进溪中。溅起一串玉珠般的水纹，伴随着清脆无比的“滴滴答答”的声音。小提琴般音质清丽，让人顿觉悠扬。烦闷心事一扫而光。

我弯了弯唇角，忽然感觉舒服了许多。

声音二：风声沙沙，低音贝司般浑厚

林子里静静地刮着风，我百无聊赖地沿着小溪散步。初秋的天气有些凉意，微风轻轻摇曳着树梢，带起一阵簌簌的轻响。沙沙地，却奇异地好听。仿佛带了丝迷人的醉意。

微风轻轻地吹拂着，撩动树上的绿叶，相互间碰撞摩擦所产生沙沙的声响，有些沙哑，有些浑厚。宛如管弦乐队里的低音贝司所发出的声音，厚重却不失好听。许多奇异的声线交织在一起，融汇成了现在我所听见的似乎还散发着浓郁气息的沙沙声。

走出树林时，已经是晌午。我长长地吁了口气，准备拔腿回家好好犒劳一下一上午什么都没吃的自己。

此刻的环境不同于林子里万籁俱寂的安静，隐约可以听到远处马路上汽车鸣笛声、小贩叫卖声，以及都市里特有的喧闹声。

great disaster that caused by the greenhouse effect, it just like the end of the

world, there was no way for people to avoid such great disaster. The movie

reminds people of the result they did harm to the environment, it will revenge

people, people have to face the disaster. It is very important to protect the

environment, people should get along with the environment.

The human race has entered a completely new stage in its history,along with

the advance of the society and the increaceingly rapid economic globalization

and urbanization, which resulted in the phenomenon that we are accustomed to

living a very fast rhythm lifestyle,ignoring the Chinese traditional

culture.

典出《楚辞·渔父》。

战国时楚国人屈原，是的诗人。他因馋言陷害而流放到江南，在沅江、湘江一带流浪。有一天，面色憔悴，身体枯瘦的屈原在江畔吟诗，一个老渔翁见到他，就问：

“你不是三闾大夫吗?怎么流落到如此地步呢?”

屈原因答：“我之所以被流放，因为世人都肮脏只有我清白，众人都喝醉了只有我清醒。”

渔翁说：“圣人应该不拘泥于一物，应随事物变换而变换。既然世人都肮脏，你何不也掀起波浪，带起泥沙?既然所有人都醉了，你何不也一醉方休?何必苦思冥想，故作清高，以至于落到今天这般田地?”

屈原回答道：“我听说，刚洗过头的人，一定会先把帽子上的灰尘弹掉再戴上去;刚洗完澡的人，也一定会抖干净衣服。我怎能让干净的身体去沾染俗世的尘埃呢?我宁可投江喂鱼，也不能那样做。”

渔翁听了笑笑，就划桨离开。边划边唱道：“沧浪河水清啊，可以洗我的帽缨;沧浪河水浊啊，可以洗我的脚。”

渔翁的意思仍是劝屈原不可过于清高，人应随波逐流，适应尘世的生活。但屈原没有听进去，不久就投江而死。

后来，“沧浪濯缨”这一典故，用来表示保持高风亮节，或表示避世脱俗;也用于表示随波逐流，混同世人。

亡羊补牢

【典故】

这故事出自“战国策”。战国时代，楚国有一个大臣，名叫庄辛，有一天对楚襄王说： “你在宫里面的时候，左边是州侯，右边是夏侯;出去的时候，鄢陵君和寿跟君又总是随看你。你和这四个人专门讲究奢侈淫乐，不管国家大事，郢(楚都，在今湖北省江陵县北)一定要危险啦!”

襄王听了，很不高兴，生气骂道：“你老糊涂了吗?故意说这些险恶的话惑乱人心吗?”

庄辛不慌不忙的回答说：“我实在感觉事情一定要到这个地步的，不敢故意说楚国有什么不幸。 如果你一直宠信这个人，楚国一定要灭亡的。你既然不信我的话，请允许我到赵国躲一躲，看事情究竟会怎样。” 庄辛到赵国才住了五个月，秦国果然派兵侵楚，襄王被迫流亡到阳城(今河南息县西北)。这才觉得庄辛的话不错，赶紧派人把庄辛找回来，问他有什么办法;庄辛很诚恳地说：“我听说过，看见兔子牙想起猎犬，这还不晚;羊跑掉了才补羊圈，也还不迟。……”

【释读】

这是一则很有意义的故事，只知道享乐，不知道如何做事，其结果必然是遭到悲惨的失败无疑。

“亡羊补牢”这句成语，便是根据上面约两句话而来的，表达处理事情发生错误以后，如果赶紧去挽救，还不为迟的意思。例如一个事业家，因估计事情的发展犯了错误，轻举冒进，陷入失败的境地。但他并不气馁，耐心地将事情再想了一遍，从这次的错误中吸取教训，认为“亡羊补牢”，从头做起，还不算晚呢!

这周的星期三，在这个阴云密布的早晨，进行了让人紧张而又难忘的英语期中考试。

早读课时，我认真地阅读着英语书，生怕漏掉了什么，使得没能考到好成绩，不过，当时并不是很紧张。就在这时，我听到了让老师领卷子的广播，心里默默地想：放松，放松，我可以考好的，为什么要紧张呢？虽然，我竭力地安慰着自己，可是紧张的感觉，却油然而生。突然，四（3）班的老师走了进来，原来，她就是我们这次的监考老师。开始放听力的录音了，声音震耳欲聋，有一道题目没能听清，结果就蒙了一个答案，心里暗暗地想：惨了，这个题目没听清，如果蒙的答案是错的，岂不是要拖累自己了？后面的笔试部分我觉得很简单，于是就没有认真检查。

第二天，报成绩时，我的心“扑通扑通”地跳着，脑神经简直绷到了极点。虽然得到了一个不错的成绩：98.5，但是那依然不是我心目中理想的成绩。果然，我没听清楚的那道听力题不出所料错了和一个单词少了复数形式的“S”。顿生悔意，如果我当时检查一遍或许就只会错一道题了。

这次考试，因为我粗心和对题目的轻视而犯下的错误，铭刻在我的脑海里，从今以后我不能再让自己重蹈覆辙，要认认真真地做好每一件事。

Recently, a Chinese student who studied abroad delivered a speech at the

graduate ceremony. Her speech soon became the hot issue, because she criticized

Chinese air pollution, which was a great threat to her health. Though her speech

had exaggerated the problem, it is true that China has faced many pollution

problems. The haze in Beijing is famous around the world, which is the

punishment for human to ruin the environment. It needs time to fix the problem,

but there is no need to deny our country. Even for the developed countries, they

have once faced such problem before. We can do something in the daily life to

protect it, such as do not throw away the rubbish.

The main function of public libraries is to provide books for people to

read.In a library,there are books on different subjects,such as Chinese

history,fine art,science,English literature,and so on.There are also works fo

fiction.

The public libraries are crowded with people on weekdays as well as Sundays

because many people,especially students who want to consult reference books for

their school work,know that they could at least learn something there.

Besides reading in the library,we can also borrow books with library

cards.But books on loan had to be returned within a couple of weeks.As far as I

know the number of people who borrow books from public libraries is increasing

year after year.

I go to the City Hall library twice a month to read.
