要学会这门运动说难也不难，说简单倒也不简单，最主要的是要掌握平衡，为了掌握平衡我是吃尽了苦头，开始我急于求成没掌握要领，把自己的腿也摔青了，手也擦破了，还是不能很好的掌握平衡，我真想放弃!这时妈妈经常讲的一句话在我耳边想起：别人能做到的你也能做到!就是这句话一直鼓励着我，我开始脚踏实地，一步步循序渐进学习，首先我坐在自行车上，双脚在地上像在走路一样往前“走”。等这样练了个三五天后。我就试着用一个脚在踏脚板上面骑，另一个在地上“走”。这得练一两个星期才行。到最后，也就是最关键的一环，那就是将另一只脚也放到踏板上，两脚配合起来，使自行车往前运动。这时别以为已经大功告成了，我又发生“尾朝天”的状况了，但我并不沮丧，因为“失败是成功之母”，只要我再接再厉、坚持不懈，相信我就会成功。水道渠成，我现在不但会骑了，而且骑得“贼溜”啊!

暑假里，我每天都会去骑两三个小时，这不仅能让我肥胖的身躯进行了锻炼，同时我也找了几个好朋友呢!瞧!我又跟我的小伙伴们去运动啦!

Every autumn, when the vegetables are ready to eat, children pick large orange pumpkins. Then they cut faces in the pumpkins and put a burning candle inside. It looks as if there were a person looking out of the pumpkin! These lights are called jack-o-lanterns, which means "Jack of the lantern".

The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween. Some children paint their faces to look like monsters. Then they carry boxes or bags from house to house. Every time they come to a new house, they say,"Trick or treat! Money or eat!" The grown-ups put treat-money or candy in their bags.

Not only children, but most grown-ups also love Halloween and Halloween parties because on this day,they can disguise themselves as personages or ghost as their imaginations will lead them. This bring them the satisfaction of being young.

万圣节前夕

万圣节前夕是美国人年年都会庆祝的秋季节日。它的意思是“神圣的夜晚”，在每年的10月31日，也就是万圣节前夜。但实际上这不是一个真正的宗教节日，而主要是孩子们的节日。

每年秋天蔬菜成熟可以食用的时候，孩子们就会挑出大个儿的橙色南瓜。然后在南瓜上刻上一张脸，把一根点燃的蜡烛放在里面。看起来就好像有人在向南瓜外面张望。这些灯就叫做“iack-o-lantems”，意思也就是“杰克的灯”。

每年万圣节前夕孩子们还戴上奇怪的面具，穿上吓人的服装。有些孩子把脸刷成怪物。然后他们拿着盒子或袋子挨家挨户串门。每来到一个新房子他们就说：“不款待就捣乱!给钱还是吃的!”大人们就会把用来招待的钱或糖放在他们的袋子里了。

不仅孩子，许多成年人也喜欢万圣节前夕和万圣节前夕晚会。因为这一天他们可以根据自己的想象把自己装扮成名流或幽灵。这会带给他们年轻的快感。

我的课余生活丰富多彩、多种多样，看书、下棋、唱歌、打羽毛球、养宠物……都是我课余时间经常打交道的“好朋友”。不过，我最喜欢的还是——溜轮滑。

小的时候，我常常在广场上遇到溜轮滑的小朋友，看见他们潇洒的样子，我心里非常羡慕。去年冬天我过生日时，妈妈终于给我买了一双溜轮滑的鞋子，我可高兴了。

星期天吃过早饭，我赶紧做完作业，然后叫上好朋友小明、小华，一起去小区的广场练习轮滑。

没想到我刚一走就摔了一大跤，小华急忙过来想把我扶起来，可是他也摔了一跤，我们滚作一团，谁也站不起不来，真是哭笑不得。还是小明过来把我俩拉起来，我们三个人互相扶着慢慢地往前滑。从九点一直到十一点，我们才终于学会了。

我终于明白，那些令人崇拜的体育巨星，并不是我想像的那样不食人间烟火，他们的辉煌成就是用汗水与失败换来的。我深深懂得了，要想人前显贵，就得背后受罪，只有吃得苦中苦，才能成为人上人！

格言伴随着我们成长，有时它是前进中的路标，有时它是打开心灵的一把钥匙，在我喜欢的格言集里，我喜欢的格言很多，但我最喜欢的格言是：虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。

说起喜欢这则格言的原因，那还得从一件小事说起。

那是在三年级的时候，上课时认真听讲，成绩还可以，渐渐地，我便开始骄傲起来，每次上课的时候都不认真听讲，要不然就同学说说话，做小动作，老师留的也不好好做。可是好景不长，厄运便降临到我的头上。

单元考又来临了，考的是语文，试卷一发下来，我看了一下题目，“哇，这么简单的题我能不会吗？”于是划了俩笔，也不检查，在那里发呆，想着这次考试我肯定又是第一名，心里挺高兴的。

没想到过几天试卷发下来了，我只考了72分，这是我考得最少分的一次，放学我回到家里，妈妈已经站在门口了，看我已经回来了，便迎上去，说：“宝贝，回来了，快，妈妈炖了鸡汤，给你暖暖胃，外面天气这么冷，喝碗鸡汤后去学习了，妈妈给你做饭去，乖！”我听后，眼泪哗哗地留了出来，妈妈问我怎么了。

我把我的语文成绩和考那么差的原因都告诉了妈妈，妈妈并没有责骂我，而是告诉了我一句话：虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。听了妈妈的话，我在心里告诉自己：你下次一定考好。经过我的不懈努力，终于又到了单元考，我认真答卷，检查，试卷发下来95分，我终于回到了原来，终于又体会到了成功的快乐！顿时我的心里像吃了蜜一样甜！
