开始我想，骂他，让他觉得不好意思，也许他会戒烟。可天底下哪有儿女骂爸爸的呀，人家会笑话我的，甚至会说我不孝。于是我犹豫了，正当我犹豫之中，突然想：爸爸不是想自己的儿女考好吗？我可以用成绩来帮他戒烟。就这么定了，我暗暗下定了决心。跟爸爸商量以后，我就发奋学习。功夫不负有心人，经过了一阶段的努力。我终于在一次的单元考试中考出了好成绩―优分。我迫不及待地拿给爸爸看，爸爸见了说：我以后再也不抽烟了。你别以为他这下会改，才没呢！

一天晚上，我吃过饭，突然闻到一股刺鼻的烟味儿。我瞟了爸爸一眼，皱了皱眉头，果然不出我所料，爸爸又抽起烟来了。哎！俗话说得好，江山易移，本性难改啊！这倒是真的。我朝爸爸跑去说：爸爸呀，您不是答应我，以后不再抽烟了吗，怎么说话不算数呀？我边说边拽着爸爸的胳膊说着。听了我的这句话，爸爸慢吞吞地把烟灭了，无可奈何地说：好好好，我服了你了。看着爸爸有所改正了，我心里乐滋滋的。

但是烟味儿还没有在我家从此消失，爸爸经常按捺不住地抽起烟来。这怎么行呢？于是，我下定决心要帮爸爸彻底锝把烟戒掉。接下来的几天中，我忙得不可开交。最后，我得知嚼口香糖可戒烟，于是我从妈妈那里要来了一些钱，买了盒绿箭口香糖，用纸包着，写上戒烟糖。再写了一封信，这封信抒发了我巴望爸爸戒烟的情感。到了晚上，我把信连同戒烟糖一同交给爸爸，不知怎么着，以后的几天中，爸爸没抽一支烟。从此，讨厌的烟味儿在我家消失了！我真高兴。因为我拥有了一位知错能改的好爸爸！
