二、材料作文命题形式灵活

从材料呈现形式看，有文字材料，有漫画材料;有“材料+直陈话题”(命题者在题干中直接标明“话题”)的形式，如天津卷的“我的青春阅读”，上海卷的“评价他人的生活”;也有“材料+内隐话题”(在材料的引导语中给出写作的话题范围)，如全国卷II的“语文素养提升”，浙江卷的“虚拟与现实”，江苏卷“彰显个性与创新意识”等。有故事性材料，如全国卷III的“小羽的创业故事”;也有导语性材料，如山东卷的“行囊”等。此外，北京卷作文题虽然采用的是完全命题类型，但在标题之前还是给出了引导语材料，或者巧妙地与试卷内的阅读文本关联，构成读写迁移的写作模式。

三、材料作文取材丰富多样

1.关注学校生活，贴近学生实际。如全国I卷的漫画作文“奖惩之后”的试题材料取自学校生活中大家司空见惯的关于考分高低与奖惩不一的现象。这道题取材贴近学生学习实际，具有纵深的思维空间，可以满足不同层次思维深度的考生自由发挥。又如天津卷的“我的青春阅读”，这道作文试题朝气蓬勃，切合阅读方式多元化的大时代潮流，它要求考生围绕自己的阅读方式，结合个人的体验和思考，谈自己的青春阅读，这直接指向了学生的阅读素养，贴近他们的生活实际。

1.思维的深度：作文命题给考生预留了纵深的思维空间，可以检测不同层次考生的思维水平。如全国卷I的漫画作文试题“奖惩之后”，首先检测的是从形象到抽象的思维转换能力。考生对漫画内容解读深度的不同，就可能形成深浅不一的认知。再如全国卷II要求考生结合自己的语文学习经历阐述三种途径对自己语文学习的影响，体验之深浅、经历之丰瘠不同的考生，自有深度有别的言说。

其次，作文试题在材料内容的剪裁与题干要求的语言表述上，力求简约、明了，降低审题难度，减少审题障碍，利于考生临场快速立意构思成文。命题者或在题干中用排比句式给出多个立意切入点。或用对比句式给出思辨的争议点，或用设问句式点拨考生以思维的突破口，或者直接用短语明示话题，或者在提示语内涵隐性的话题关键词，这些都为考生快速、准确地审题与立意作了很好的铺垫。

此外，命题者在文体选择、题目拟定、立意指向，都给考生腾出了充分的自主选择与自由发挥的空间。
