After An Examination

After I got the news that I had passed PETS level 3 ,I were really happy at that moment .But when I knew the exact result,I didn’t have any successful or wonderful feelings,instend of that,I think the result was very strange.I couldn’t believe that.although my mark was high,everyone who joined the examination all got very good marks.Most of the students in my class could reach the average of 60.so I can’t be pleased with my reault,and it is not enough for me.Recently,I have mixed feeling.It even drives me crazy.I have though a lot about how to improve my English .I am so eager for improving.When I am in school ,I am just ok.. 当今天剑桥英语考试的铃声响起时，我感觉全身都已经不是自己的了，像是换了一个人的身体一样。我的手不停的颤抖着，笔尖也在颤抖，在桌子上不断地留下来回摩擦的声音。为什么我对英语考试这么害怕呢？因为我妈妈给我要求的是必须认真对待，争取考到100分。但是我对自己很没有“信心”，所以心里十分的担心。一直想着该怎么答题？要怎么才答得好，考到一。百分。就在这时考试的铃声响起了，我之前在脑袋里记到的知识，突然间一下子就飞走了。当我正在想怎么才能将那些知识找回来的时候？老师开始念听力了，我十分无奈的跟着老师的思路走，生怕有半点遗漏。

过了一会儿，老师终于把听力讲完了，我感觉浑身都松了一口气儿，但这还没完，老师紧接着说：“同学们，这次考试要认真对待，今天的题很难一定要认真考试哦。”老师不说这句话还好，但老师一说，我就感觉浑身都不自在了，感觉就像望子成龙的那些妈妈一直逼迫孩子学习，在我的心里，老师分明是在说一定要考好，不准考差。

我吓的浑身哆嗦，开始回忆我以前学过的知识，但是墙上那钟表的嘀嗒声一直在困扰着我，我想起了这个，又因为滴答声，忘了那个，一直这样重复了几次。我有点不耐烦了，我心想算了吧？直接做吧！至少比干坐在这里，思考我以前学过的知识要好吧！我拿起了笔开始面对试卷，但是看到第一道题我就傻眼了，这道题要用原形和Ing进行式加到语句上面，但是在这道题目上，老师根本就没讲这种情况，这可怎么办呢？我无可奈何，只好拿出我的点兵点将大法，但是可惜这是道填空题我没能用上我的点兵点将大法，这使我脑袋都大了一号，没办法，我只好垂头丧气地往后做，可是越往后做我的心情就越烦躁，心情也就越忐忑，有很多题，明明在上课的时候，我都听到过，但是我就是一时想不起来了。

我心想算了吧，随便猜个答案都填上去吧！我真要这么做的时候，我却看到桌子上，不知谁用钢笔在上面刻了一句话，人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败，这一句话，可能是谁在上课的时候无聊随便刻的，但是他却成为了我这次考试的救命稻草，我转念一想，是啊，我不能被打败，我必须冷静下来尽自己的最大努力做下去，就这样时间又嘀嗒嘀嗒的过去了。不一会儿时间就到了，我垂头丧气的准备走上去交上试卷，但是我又想起了刚才可在桌子上那句话，就算我做的不好，我也要做出，我好像做得很好的样子，于是我马上抬头挺胸，挺着腰板走了上去。放学时我看到老师改完试卷才走，唉，才考了96分。

后来我把这件事情告诉了妈妈，本以为妈妈会大吵我一顿，但是她却夸奖我在关键的时刻没有放弃这一项做的很好。暂时一两次考试不好没什么关系，但是必须要在你受挫折的时候，坚强起来！坚持起来！那才是你该做的！

In recent years, there is a growing concern for the spending craze during graduation. Thefarewell dinners, which once symbolized a celebration of the four-year friendship and the bitterness of pending departure, pose a gigantic financial burden on the graduates.

A number of factors can account for such phenomenon, but the following might be the critical ones. Firstly, it’s an undeniable truth that today’s college students tend to spend much more money than before. What’s more, the farewell dinners are held in the name of more and more social groups, such as classes, college societies, dormitories and etc.

In my view, the problem mentioned above has become increasingly severe, so great concern is deserved and effective measures are called for. To begin with, it is essential that the school should attach more importance to teaching the concept of thrift. 今天我们知道了考试成绩，我数学考了92，语文49，英语44。数学有一道题是没有见过的题型，我就是这道题做错了，是因为没有看懂题，而且没有动脑筋去想题，所以这道题我就答错了；数学其他题我都是见过的，但是有几个题还是打错了，是因为粗心了，其实我是会做的。

语文错了两道题是因为我粗心了，并不是我不会。

英语错的题是没有记清单词的意思，所以打错了，还有一个题我不知道peaches是什么意思。这次考试我考的不算很好，主要的原因是我太粗心了，而且遇到没见过的题没有去思考，我要改掉这两个最大的毛病，希望接下来可以取得好成绩。

这次期末考试是我考的最差的一次，也是最让我伤心的一次，数学是76。5分，语文是88分，英语是94分。这一次考试分数把快乐的暑假变成了悲伤的暑假，一把成绩带回家，就被爸爸批评一顿。在成绩还没出来之前，我真的没有想到我会考的这么差。

现在，我已经知道为什么考这么不好了。首先是我的语文课外书阅读的不够多，还有是考试前一天晚上很晚睡觉，到了第二天考试时有点想睡觉。在复习阶段没有多看书，也没有好好复习，只想着玩和看电视了。在考试看题目的时候，没有看清重点就开始做了，做好了也没有好好检查，还有就是平时上课没有认真听老师讲课。

以后我要把所有的缺点都改正，要养成早睡早起，少看电视多看书的好习惯。

我相信只要养成一个好的学习习惯，下次我一定会考出好成绩。

Nowadays we see supermodels on almost every magazine cover and one might wonder what life will be like being one of them. Such assumption may be painful for most of the magazine readers who are already over the age when they can get taller. In response to the ”Getting taller trend”, some goes so far as to pay doctors to cut their legs open and let surgeries do the job to get just two centimeters’ higher.

In spite of all these that are happening, some of my taller friends desire to give up this superiority for they just don’t want to be the center of the crowd, saying that they would kill to be a 4 feet child. Girls, maybe you can’t remember the time when you were younger and you need to jump really hard to catch a glimpse of up-the-table world? But being taller, even the upper world of the refrigerator top is no longer a myth and your mom and dad can’t hide your snacks up there any more! As time goes on, you can easily see on the table the beautiful lavenders or lilies stretching themselves in their own fragrant smell, the shining toaster popping out warm tasty toast, or the little drops of water glittering under bright sunshine after your mom wipes the table. Don’t you just love to see every phase of the moon even when they are not that high up in the sky?

Well, I do. Being a 5 ft 10 myself, I am also taking the advantage of buying a larger outfit at a same price. Also, I get a cleaner view of the blackboard even when sitting far away from it. I run faster, jump higher and can think positively. I am proud to say that I possess the ability to see the upside of almost everything. I guess it is because I am closer to the clear blue sky above our heads.

My Views on Examinations

Since school comes into being， the test standard has been used to appraise performance of students。 So far it is still being used， which may suggest that actually there are some advantages in it。 However， it is also highly possible that the test standard is a not ideal way to find out what students have learned and what they havent。 Most school is still using it just because there is no better method to replace it。

In my opinion， the following three points are the critical flaws in the test standard。

One of the most harmful effects on the test method is that it will force us to study just for passing tests， not for acquiring knowledge especially in China。 Obviously the final object of education is XXX us intellective by learning more knowledge。 While the test is only a way to examine the level of students studies， it has been deteriorated to a sifter deciding the fate of students。 Why can it be called a terrible sifter？ Now in the tests， which decide who can enter a higher school， thousands of poor students， who want a splendid future， must prepare for the tests by finishing a great deal of practices。 Those practice tests are heavy-laden to them。 So in this case， how can they be expected to study to obtain knowledge？ To them that are enough if they can reach the level which tests need。 In the end what our nation will get， genuine persons with ability or just test robots？

Secondly， tests will bring the examinees great pressure， which can affect their lives。 A typical example of this is that most young students have worn glasses even though some of them are still children。 For preparing for tests， they must spend a lot of time on doing their homework so that their eyesight becomes worse and worse。 And the more time they spend on those， the less time they have for playing and relaxing。 Consequently， there is a bad influence on their health。

Thirdly， in fact， test system itself can not veraciously estimate who is better than others because there are many factors impacting the results of test。 For instance， someone cheated in test so that his score would be higher than others。 Or someone who was too nervous to perform well fell in the test。

Only in spare time and no pressure of tests existent， students can study simply for the fun， for obtaining knowledge and for the things that they are really interested in。 But now the test system is the only way to select which one is better， who can reach better school and who can get good job。 Then what we can do is to improve the test system or hope that something better will be invented and replace the test system。

转眼间,孩子们升入中学快一学年了 在各位家长的密切配合下,在各位任课教师的悉心教育下,孩子们各方面均取得了不同程度的进步,班级的工作顺利的进行着。班里形成了积极向上的班风、学风，同学之间能够和睦相处、团结一心，互帮互助;课间打闹的现象少了，探讨问题的身影多了;上课随便讲话的少了，举手回答问题的多了。期末考试语数外三门主科成绩对比起入校成绩，都有了较大幅度的提高，在年级中处于中上水平。以薛俊杰、聂振、任楷文为核心的班干部成为了老师得力的助手，在班级各项活动中起到了模范带头作用，获得了各科老师的好评，赢得了同学们的信任和尊重。更有一批同学凭着认真的学习态度，踏实的工作作风，优秀的品质，在学校的各项评优活动中，取得了一系列的荣誉，例如：王蕴伟、薛俊杰、聂振、李建、任楷文五位同学光荣的加入了共青团，成为班里的第一批团员;在上期末学生基本素养评价中，王蕴伟、薛俊杰、聂振、李建、任楷文、武宇、贾晓雨、刘洋、杨帆、马心玫、高书雅、徐雨晴、赵奕惠、尹航十四位同学的考核成绩为优秀;王蕴伟、薛俊杰、聂振、李建、武宇、刘洋、马先升被评为三好学生，王蕴伟被评为三好学生标兵、李建被评为优秀干部。还有一部分同学，例如魏清泽、田宇祺、杨国军，虽然入校成绩不太理想，但经过了一学期的努力，也有了很大的进步，特此提出表扬。以上这些同学，以自己的实力向我们证明了：只要努力了就会有进步，我是最棒的。

当然，通过这次期中考试，学生面上也暴露出了很多问题，我总结了这样几个方面. 第一、有部分同学仍然沿用了小学的学习方式，只满足于放学后回家按时完成作业，不知道复习、预习，更不知道拓展提高，以这样的学习方法去应付科目众多、难度加大的初中学习，结果可想而知。第二、有些同学小学表现不错，入校后放松了对自己的要求，上课精力不集中，听讲效果差，也不太接受同学和老师对他的教育，成绩出现了大幅度的下滑。第三、有相当多的同学出现了偏科现象，集中表现在数学、历史、生物、地理、微机这几门课上。数学是三门主科中学习难度最大的一门学科，不少同学包括一些在班级里成绩位于上游的同学成绩也不够理想。而历史等这几门副科学生重视程度不够，上课不好好听，课下不用心背，凡是这几门成绩不好的同学原因都在于此。这三个方面的问题，在大部分孩子身上都或多或少的存在着，希望能够引起家长们足够的重视，利用这次期中考试的契机，抓紧对孩子的监督和管理，能多关心孩子都在学校里干了些什么，多关心回家后孩子都学了些什么，有问题的及时和老师沟通。至于存在偏科现象的同学，家长一定要高度警惕，数学、英语、语文是中考时的必考科目，所占分值很大，任何一门瘸腿，带给孩子中考的影响都是致命的，趁现在所学内容相对较少，内容相对简单，抓紧时间给孩子补习，请家教也好，上补习班也好，一定要把窟窿补上。历史、地理、生物、政治、微机这五门功课，在学生初二、初三时要参加结业考试，D级以上才能初中毕业，C级以上才能报考普通高中，B级以上才能报考重点高中，A级能享受推荐生待遇。这几门课，必须把功夫下在平时，到初二初三临考前突击复习，学生既累，效果也不好，希望家长一定要给学生晓以利害。

还有几点需要给家长强调1、经常与老师取得联系，与老师密切配合。及时了解学生每月在校的学习、纪律等情况，召开这样的一次家长会解决不了什么根本性的问题。有特殊情况仍然需要家长通过电话或到学校等不同形式与老师联系，使得老师与家长的教育取得一致，形成一股合力。

2、不要让家中的事情影响到孩子的学习，大人之间的应酬能不让孩子去的尽量不要让孩子去，有些家族内部或邻里同事之间的的矛盾尽量不要让学生知道，因为有时可能一件看起来不起眼的事情，会给孩子带来一个长时期的情绪变化，从而影响孩子的学习生活。家长在平时生活中尽量给孩子起到表率作用，家长对孩子的影响是潜移默化的，从孩子身上能看出家长的教育，不可等闲视之。

3、严格控制孩子的上放学时间，防止学生中途玩耍甚至沉迷网络。给孩子的钱要控制，并问孩子是怎么花的。随时留意孩子有没有看一些不该看的课外读物(武打小说、言情小说、动漫、网络游戏攻略等)

4、不要给孩子配备手机等通讯工具和MP3等音乐播放器，甚至什么文曲星学习机等也不行。你可能不在乎这点钱，这不是钱的问题，绝大多数的学生有通讯工具是与同学联系，而且是在上课和晚上休息的时候联系，影响学习影响休息。

最后，希望家长能够帮助孩子合理的安排课余时间，既要休息好，又要督促孩子按时完成各科作业，利用课余时间查漏补缺，为自己的成长打下更坚实的基础。

写作是考研英语的第二大重头戏，仅次于阅读。但是这部分又经常被考生忽略，考前不动手，依赖临考模板，很难写出高分作文。那么，如何准备2018考研英语写作呢?一起来看下。

对于考研英语写作，最基本的要求是考前必须动笔写出35篇文章，其中十篇应用文，二十五篇图画作文。注意：动笔写的文章最好是有范文的题目。写作应分为五步：

NO.1 写作

写作写作，第一步首先是写!一定要动手写，你看多少，背多少，都没有动手写来得实在，建议同学们拿考题多加练习。

NO.2 仔细对比

第二个就是仔细对比，写完后对照范文从三个方面去研究：第一个是内容，也就是构思和原文有何区别;第二个是语言，也就是用词、用句和原文有何区别?第三个是结构，就是你的行文思路和原文有什么区别?这是第二个步骤，写作的区别其实就是写作的弱点。

NO.3 背诵

第三步骤就是背诵：也就是可以去背诵一些范文。有的同学说了，范文我背过了，但是写作的时候还是不会写。有两个原因，第一个原因是你背得不熟，背得结结巴巴，还不如不背;第二个原因是没有练过，只是死记硬背。

所以为什么背了还不会用，有两个原因，第一背不熟，第二没有练过。背到什么程度，有12个字“滚瓜烂熟、脱口而出、多多益善。”要背到不需要去想，不需要去动脑子!如果背一篇文章还需要去想，那就证明还背得不熟。大家上考场，如果能想起平时的70%，那已经是相当不错了。所以一定要背熟，这就是第三个步骤。

NO.4 默写

第四个步骤就是默写：背熟后把书合上，把这篇文章默写下来。默写后，做一个工作：仔细对比原文发现写作弱点，你会发现你默写的文章和原文会有一些出入，包括拼写、语法、标点等，这种错误就是你写作的弱点，最好能够把这些错误用红笔标出来。大家为什么写作拿不到高分，根源只有一个——错误太多。很多错误自己都不知道。

NO.5 仿写

第五个步骤就是仿写：什么叫仿写?就是模仿你背过的文章再写出一篇新文章。在背完一篇文章后，要想想这篇文章有什么精彩的词组、词汇和句型可以使用。然后换一个话题，把这篇作文用一下，用里面词汇、词组和句型去构思另一篇文章。

写作的注意点和技巧：写作首要的是，一、不跑题;二、字数达到要求;三、字迹整洁工整;四、少有语病。

这些是很基本的要求，考试的时候就要好好落实。比如，拿到作文题目后要审题。在写的过程中注意字数的限制，不要写太多，会扣分的，字数不够也会扣分。所以实在不行就写完一段话，停下来数一数字数。字迹工整可能短期内提高不了。只要你比平时稍慢一点写字母，就会写得比较整洁。要知道老师的印象分是很重要的。病句的避免技巧就是，凡是你想的过程中感觉别扭的句子，多半就是病句。干脆不要写出来，换一种形式去表达。不要追求好词，要追求准确性。

在考前，小作文的提高是非常快的。方法就是分析小作文的类型。应用文写作部分(小作文)考查内容包括投诉信、咨询信、道歉信、求职信等信函类应用文，而且涵盖报告、通知、海报等告示类应用文。不同类型的作文，要自己总结模版。小作文是完全可以准备模版的，其作用也是常明显。一定要注意：总结出自己的模板。
