I am a shy girl, when my teachers ask me the questions, I will always low

down my head and answer them with small voice. Because of my character, I miss

the chances to make myself stand out and I also don’t have many friends. I

really want to change my situation, I don’t want to be a stand by anymore, I

want to be part of the group. So I force myself to join the class activities, I

find I enjoy them and I talk to my classmate a lot. I become active and start to

and restaurants but also at home. People also drink tea during breaks at offices

I live with my father and mother in a very big house in Dongguan. My parents are both very busy. They leave for work very early in the morning and don’t return home until late in the evening.

When I am home on weekends from school, we spend a lot of time together. We talk about my studies, my health and my school life. I love my parents very much.

My grandparents are still living, but they don’t live with us. Their health is good and they both do sports very early in the morning. My grandmother does gymnastics with elderly women her age in the park. Both of my grandfathers play basketball in the morning and sometimes they go swimming.

Chinese people eat rice for every meal, but I don’t like rice because I think it is tasteless! We eat meat, fish and vegetables. My family eats noodles and congee. My favorite is noodles.

我妈说二十年前我爸还挺帅的，不过从我有印象起，我爸好像就跟帅没什么太大联系。

三层的肚子，有点短还静脉曲张的小腿上覆着浓密的…额，绒毛。唯一不算小的眼睛还在我身上没能得到充分体现。

我妈常举着一张泛黄的照片说：“唉，完全没有二十年前的样子了，只有性子没变，不冷不热，不紧不慢的。”

我想，在单位和老爸谈工作的人八成会被急死吧。这又一次被我不幸说中。

老妈加班，“无家可归”的我被老爸接到单位。过了一会老爸的办公室内走进了一位同样三层肚子的人和老爸面对面坐下，老爸似乎并没从那个人“不停看表”这一动作看出那个人有半点焦急，还慢慢倒茶，捧起茶杯小口喝着。

情节有些变化，直到那位胖叔叔擦着汗说：“对不起，等会儿我要接孩子。”后，爸爸一愣，说：“让孩子等可不好啊。”然后以我有生以来听到过的他最快的语速，像只鹦鹉似的不停地说着。几分钟后，那位胖叔叔说了声“谢谢”后夹着包出去了。

老爸的动作又慢了下来，慢慢整理文件，慢慢起身，慢慢打开书柜，又慢慢回来坐下。

这让我想起以前打电话给他，说我摔倒胳膊后，他竟几分钟就来到学校，而且家里并没有车。

我有些感动，鼻子酸酸的，我忙吸了下鼻子笑着说：“你刚才说话怎么那么快啊？”

他过了一会才回答：“不都为了孩子么！”

我的爸爸就是这样，他不冷不热，却会为了他爱的东西而变得极热。他可以不紧不慢，可他也可以为了最珍贵的东西而用他最快的速度。这就是我的爸爸。

How to Make Friends

For some, it’s easy to make new friends in school because they are outgoing. But for some others, it seems difficult. Here are some tips to make friends.
