evely nation has its own folk festivals. Those festivals give people a chance to be away from their regular work and everyday worries to enjoy themselves and to develop kindship and fiiendship. The spring festival is the chief holiday in china while christmas is the most important redletter day in the western world。

the spring festival and christmas have much in common. Both are prepared hefiorehand to create a joyous atmosphere; both offer a family reunion with a square feast: and both satisfy the children with new clothes, lovely presents and delicious food. However, the chinese spring festival has no religious background while christmas has something to do with god and there is santa claus with white heard to bring children presents. The westerners send each other christmas cards for greetings while the chinese people pay a call on each other。

nowadays, some of the chinese youth has begun to celebrate christmas, following the example of the westerners. Perhaps they do so just for fun and out of curiosity。

“奶 ——奶——”妈妈追出门来，看我还没走多远，舒了口气，递过来一包刚烫好的奶。

“凉的喝了肚子疼，我就……”

“你用热水烫了”。我不耐烦地打断她的话，全然不顾她呆呆地愣在那里。习惯性地把奶放进口袋里，踏着弄堂里混沌的霞光，头也不回地上学去了，虽然我知道她还在门口张望，直到看不清我为止。

就这样，新的一天又波澜不惊地开始了。

上午还是那么漫长，尤其在肚子叽哩咕噜唱空城计的时候。我摸了摸口袋那略带体温的牛奶，咬咬牙扔进洞里，“就让冷战进行到底吧！”我狠狠地说，“我就是不喝！”我近乎崩溃地等来了下课的铃声，肚子里早就天翻地覆了。随着人流昏沉地走进餐厅，却不知怎么，胃似乎麻木了。胡乱填了几口，就奔回宿舍倒头大睡，肚子里也不知是饥是饿，折腾得实在睡不着。不自觉地又回味起老妈“呵护备至”的叮嘱：“蚊子多，记得擦宝宝金水，你别嫌它名不好听，中药的，不伤皮肤……”。我使劲摇晃着脑袋，目光也随着晕眩起来，却总也忘不了妈没完没了的唠叨。“咣”的一声，那赫然写着3-7岁用的花露水瓶被摔碎了，破碎的玻璃反射着阳光，像一个被打碎的世界，像一颗破碎的心，我郁闷地望着家的方向，心里不由得泛起一丝酸楚。

“妈现在还没吃饭吧！我喃喃道，之后便沉沉地睡着了。

下午是语文阅读课。

找了个靠窗的位置，难得太阳公公赏脸，便沐浴着阳光，独自逍遥去了。却也不知过了多久，老师敲醒了昏睡的我，“别光看，要做笔记——”老师意味深长地拉长了音，我的笔听话地动了起来，于是不大的白纸上孤零零地有了这么一句：

稻田里，一派丰收的景象，一个个稻穗长得非常饱实，但它们的头垂得很低，眼总是望着根底。

我随意的笔慢了下来，咀嚼起这句话。

泪也不知何时涌了出来，我尝得出，那眼泪的味道，有幸福、有内疚、有遗憾。

那天我终于还是倒在了病榻上，因为胃痉挛，我痛得睁不开眼，但我嗅得出，那是妈头发的味道。一切都融化了，冰释了，我脱下了几天来高傲的外衣，真诚地叫了声“妈——”

次日，路过花店，平生第一次买康乃馨，妈没说什么，插了起来，回头做饭去了，留给我一个温柔的背影，我却躲在一边偷偷地抹眼泪了。

Recently, I have been reading a book named Communication Arts. In this

book, the author Doctor Li introduces many methods to communicate with others

successfully and tells readers why everyone should be a polite person. My

favorite sentence in this book is “Everyone has potential, and everyone can

determine your own future by developing positive psychological, mastering

communication arts and showing your personality charm. In that way, you can have

a wonderful life!”

During whole sections, this book tells us human should live in a large

group, since people can’t solve all problems by their own. For that matter,

human beings should learn a series of manners to deal with any situation which

might happen wherever and whenever. After that, Doctor Li makes a point that

people need to realize how to resolve disagreements between friends, families or

colleagues. There always appears this kind of situation in social life, so it’s

important to understand how to settle it. Finally he teaches us that

communication techniques not only reflect in normal talk but also within body

languages.

In each part of the book, the author takes a large number of examples in

daily life to confirm his points. These examples in daily life are easy to

understand and accept.

After reading the book, I find many shortages of my communication skills. I

used to lack of patience when I talk to others, even got mad at them. This was

impolite and might destroy relationships between my friends and me. Therefore I

would try my best to improve myself and be welcome.
