Mothers Day

Mothers Day comes on the second Sunday in May each year. On that day this year, I bought a sweater and some flowers for my mother to thank her for her hard work for me. Receiving my gift, my mother was very happy.

Everybody has someone in his heart that he admires very much， who may be a scientist， a writer or a musical or a movie super star。 As for the one I admire the most is my dear mother。

My mother is an honorable policewoman。 She is very busy with her job all the time。 As mom often needs to work over-time， she goes to work very early in the morning， and doesn’t come home till late at night。 Mother deeply loves her work; she treats it gingerly and conscientiously， and she is full of respected at work by her colleagues and leadership。 For always being a responsible person for the work， my mother also therefore merited many awards。

我们来到畲乡封金山，只见这里彩旗招展向我们微笑，畲族婚嫁期待我们当“新郎”呢！今天晴朗的天气云淡风轻，山清水秀如世外桃园，如果用一个字来概括那就是“爽”啊！不必说这里风雨桥下溪流欢唱，也不必说畲家门前翠竹环绕如诗入画，单看那三五成群的畲山娃呀你追我赶尽情嬉戏，还有那远处飘来烤番薯的香味就令人忍俊不禁使我直流口水。此刻我真想尽快地融入他们的队伍之中，去享受一下野炊的滋味呢！到了畲乡封金山的终点站，我们看见石头滩上有一群小朋友在烤番薯，我们也去玩。现在正是秋收时节，农民伯伯水稻收割完了，就把稻杆放在石头滩边晒一晒。我和蒋玮钰抱来一些稻杆，然后向爸爸借来打火机就开始烤番薯了。同时我们还抓来晒在石头滩上的稻谷放入火中，只听到“咧咧……咧咧咧……”一颗颗金黄的稻谷便成了一个个雪白的爆米花。我又仔细地观察，原来它是稻谷里面的米“爆炸”出来的。渐渐的——渐渐的——，番薯终于熟了。我迫不及待地拿出番薯，香喷喷的番薯终于开炉了！我拿了一个比较大的，吃起来可香了，也非常非常地甜。
