文明是种美德，文明是种文化修养。别看文明十分渺小，它在社会或个人交往之间会起到大作用。 Civilization is a kind of virtue, civilization is cultural cultivation.Dont look at civilization very small, it will play a big role in social or individual interaction.

千百年来的文明美德之风传承至今，因此我国向来就有“文明古国”之称。中华民族一直以拥有不曾间断的灿烂文明而自豪。一般来说，文明是指国家发展的状态，即国家创造的物质财富与精神财富的总和，是一个国家的软实力。但在实际生活中一个素质高，有教养的现代文明的人，必须有良好的礼仪文明。文明美德处处可见，这些事就常常发生在我们身边的小事中，但往往被文明忽略。

比如列宁同志，他正在下楼。突然他在楼梯狭窄的过道上碰见了一个女工端了盆水上楼。那女工一看是人民委员会主席列宁，便准备退回楼下给列宁让路，列宁不仅阻止了她，还说:“你都端了一大盆水走到了半路，而我两手空空，请你先过去吧!”而且这个“请”被他说得特别响亮。这不是良好文明礼仪的体现吗?

文明虽然无处不在，但我们应该从自我做起，如见到熟人主动打招呼，在公交车上主动给老人让座，在公共场所不乱扔垃圾等......

公共文明是社会意识的集中体现，但是公共文明是建立我们每个人的道德修养之上。所以个人文明才是根本。

从古至今文明代代相传，作为一名小学生我们一定要把这种文明传承下去，首先我们要具备小学生的美德，把坏习惯统统改掉，在成长的道路上越走越好。让我们的校园绽放美丽，让我们的社会迸出文明的火花。让我们拥抱文明，和美德手拉手，结伴同我行，文明我先行。
