2.Many citizens like to live in the city.City folks like the conveniences and comforts of the big city.It is convenient to get around in the city by bus or taxicab.There are many taxicabs in most cities.

Cities have many schools for children,young people and adults.Adults can go to class at night to learn to read and write better,and to be trained for better jobs.Every large city has at least one college.Adults as well as young people have the chance to go to college.

Citizens of cities have convenient medical services.There are many good doctors to give these medical services.There are many policemen in the cities.The police protect the citizens.

The city has many kinds of entertainment.There are film shows,plays,concerts,parades,and many other kinds of entertainment.There are many places to visit.Many adults like the entertainment and comforts found in a city.

But some of our citizens like the country better.They say the country has many comforts,too.Most homes in the country have electricity.They have electric ice boxes and electric stoves.The country has many more conveniences and comforts than it once had.

The country has space for people to do things.People who live in the country have space to plant flowers and space to keep animals.Some people like to have space in which they can move around freely.

People in the country get lots of exercise when they work on the land.Children get lots of exercise by working or riding their bicycles to school.In the country there are fewer accidents and people do not need so many policemen to protect them.Living in the country is clean and quiet.

Today is Christmas, I said to mother: "merry Christmas!" My mother said to me: "merry Christmas". I ran to the kitchen to grandma said: "merry Christmas!" , grandma also said to me: "merry Christmas!" .

我走到厨窗边，透过窗户看到有许多带着圣诞帽的小朋友在堆雪人，小朋友们养着小狗、小猫也带着圣诞帽，它们在雪地上踩来踩去，好像在画画呢!

于是我走出家，我看到广场上有许多小朋友，有的在堆雪人，有的在打雪仗。

我也想堆一个漂亮的雪人，于是，我先把地上的雪搓成两个雪球，再用黑色的玻璃球做眼睛，用红萝卜做鼻子，用扫帚做手，最后给雪人带上圣诞帽，哇!多漂亮的雪人啊!

这时，我望了望天空，呀!天色不早了，我该回家啦。

回到家，睡觉前我把我的袜子挂我在我的床边，早晨醒来，哇，我的袜子是全是圣诞老人送给我的礼物，有木拉多终极龙王的玩具，36色水彩笔，汉堡。我在心里默默的说：“谢谢圣诞老爷爷!”。

哈哈，我盼了又盼，可算盼来了圣诞节。我想你一定也很高兴吧，快来听我说一说。

圣诞老人可是圣诞节的主要人物，听我讲讲他的故事吧。从前有一个老人，名叫尼古拉斯，他最爱帮助贫穷的人家。有一次他帮助了三个贫穷的少年后，又送他们三袋金子以逃过被卖的不幸。当尼古拉斯把一袋金子送给其中一名女子时，他把金子从一个窗户扔进去，恰好掉近隔壁领居家的袜子里，后来??????我不说你们也知道了吧?

据说平安夜的晚上，圣诞老人会驾着驯鹿雪橇满载着礼物，要送给这一年来表现很好的小朋友，他会悄悄地从烟囱爬进屋内，礼物塞在挂在床头的袜子里。所以孩子总会把一条色彩缤纷的袜子挂在床头，并在袜子旁边放杯热牛奶犒劳圣诞老人，让圣诞老人送份大礼给自己。

圣诞节是西方国家的节日，很受人欢迎。在12月25日，如果你坐在外国的街道上，你自然会见到红、白、绿这三种颜色和有关圣诞节的装饰。这几天，他们会放很长时间的假。有些外国人还会选择去欧洲旅游，那时候外国的机票会打折的哦!

现在我们来把镜头转向我们身边街道上的变化吧。

瞧!商店里布满了“雪花”、圣诞老人??????只要有关圣诞节的几乎上都有。瓦亮的橱窗上贴上了雪人娃娃、“雪花”和圣诞老人。大家也不少看到happy christmas。在商店里面，总会看到一棵棵圣诞树，树上挂了铃铛、礼物、圣诞老人、雪花和五角星、礼物等等。仿佛这些商店里就藏着圣诞节的秘密呢!

大家有没有见到过这样的情景：服务员戴着圣诞帽，笑眯眯地向你走来;模拟的圣诞老人，热情地向你打招呼，和你握手。

一些大型商场，就会趁此机会，搞活动，这吸引了许许多多的顾客。而一些英语班，就会办一个圣诞晚会，来庆祝圣诞节。

哈哈，到处都洋溢着圣诞节的欢乐和喜悦，不知你有没有感受到了呢?

星期五，学校帮我们提前庆祝圣诞节，这下可乐坏了我们。

中午，吃完饭后，我们在楼梯口做游戏。正当咱们玩得正欢时，广播里传来播报员的声音：“请四年级同学注意，下面是四年级的圣诞嘉年华活动。”顿时，四年级就像一个炸开的锅。每个班都沸腾起来了。过不多久，我们班跟着四(4)班后面，一路往下走。来到操场后，我们便排起了整齐的队伍。我拿着我的积分卡一看，有12个项目呢!我便从心里立下志气：一定要把这12个项目玩完。不一会，我就拿到了 三颗星。我心想，挺简单的呀!不像老师说得那么难呀!接着，我便跑向一处人很少的地方，仔细一看，原来是唱英语歌呢!我和马泽宇，唱起了《jingle bells》，新东方学校的阿姨很满意，在我的积分卡上打了颗漂亮的五角星。随后，我又跑到了摸卡片的游戏队伍后，这些卡片上有的是“通过 ”，有的是“回答问题”，有的是“不能通过”，我想：“我要挑战挑战，给我来个问题吧!”可是老天爷不知道是在睡觉还是在干什么，没听到我的话。我居然摸到了“直接通过”。唉，这次给自己的挑战没成功，不过还是能拿到一颗星的。经过我不懈的努力，我终于完成了11项任务，我想：“咦，不是应该还有一个项目的吗?怎么找不到了?”通过一翻搜寻，我终于找到了最后一个项目。一个大哥哥问：“how many noses do you have?”,我一时转不过弯，以为问我脸上有几个器官，我回答”“five”,别的同学问我”“你有五只鼻子吗?”我脸红了，连忙说：“one”，幸好，我还是获得了第12颗星星。不过是以一个笑话作为结尾。“呜……呜……”，真是太惨了。

我带着积分卡去换礼品，新东方的老师给了我一张光盘，还说“这就当作你们的圣诞礼物吧!”我开心极了，一蹦一跳地走回了操场，那里还有很多同学在为那12颗星星奋战呢!

学校给我们准备的圣诞节活动，真是十分有趣啊!我期待着明年的圣诞节。

快乐的圣诞节又要到了，我小的时候有一次无意中知道了圣诞节只要在晚上把袜子放在床边，那么就会收到圣诞老人送来的礼物。于是每一年的圣诞节我最期待的就是圣诞礼物了。

我乐坏了，马上跑回家问爸爸妈妈：“爸妈，今天是圣诞节，圣诞老人会给我带来礼物吗？”妈妈笑了笑说：“傻孩子，怎么会呢？那只是个故事，都是瞎编的。”我生气极了，“不，你骗人，那不是故事，是真实的。”我气得哭了起来。

晚上，我按照伙伴说的那样做--把圣诞袜挂在床边，便睡着了。

第二天，我往袜子里头一看，果然有一份礼物，我太高兴了，拿着礼物给坐在客厅的爸爸妈妈看。“爸妈，看。”我指了指礼物笑着说，“这是圣诞老人送我的，我说那就是真实的吧!”爸爸也笑了笑说：“呵!还真有圣诞老人啦!真好!呵呵!”

接下来的4年，我也同样收到了圣诞礼物。就在我10岁那年的圣诞节，我想：“圣诞老人是什么样子的呢？不如，今晚他送礼物来的时候，头看一下好了。”

到了晚上，我早早的回屋，大约过了2个小时，只听见们“吱呀”地一声开了，我微微地把眼睛睁开一点，只见爸爸妈妈的身影，把礼物小心翼翼地放进我挂在床头的圣诞袜里。我突然起来了，爸爸妈妈都不知说什么好，满脸歉意，我热泪盈眶地对着爸妈说：“爸妈，谢谢你们!”

虽然圣诞节没有圣诞老人，也没有圣诞礼物，但我10岁那年的圣诞节，是最快乐的。

虽然现在的我知道其实给我圣诞礼物的一直都是爸爸妈妈，并没有什么圣诞老人，但是我还是过了个快乐的圣诞节。
