大街小巷热闹极了，商店的门上都贴上了圣诞老人画像，门口都有圣诞树。我最喜欢圣诞节的圣诞树了，树上挂着彩带、彩灯、彩球、铃铛和各种礼物。多么漂亮呀!

西方国家过圣诞节，就像我们过春节一样隆重、热闹。

有的小朋友们聚在一起开联欢会、做手工、做贺卡，他们就在一起尽情玩耍，看他们多开心呀!

圣诞节这天，我是双喜临门：第一喜是我的考试成绩让爸爸、妈妈、奶奶吃了开心果，我得了班级第三名。第二喜是奶奶给我买的圣诞果，让我大饱口福。

Santa Claus was born in US in the 1860s he was named this as he had a white beard and a belly, so he was named Santa Claus as this was the Dutch word for St Nicholas, Sintaklaas. Although the Dutch had bought him with them in the 17th century, he did not become an important person at Christmas until the Novelist Washington Irving put him in a novel that he wrote in 1809. This first Santa Claus was still known as St. Nicholas, he did smoke a pipe, and fly around in a wagon without any reindeer, but he did not have his red suit or live at the North Pole, he did however bring presents to children every year.

In 1863 He was given the name Santa Claus and bore the red suit, pipe, and his reindeer and sleigh.

Today is Christmas day. It is still cold, but will not stop me looking forward to Christmas grandpa gave me a gift of hot heart. At night, every family bought a small gift to hang in the colors of Christmas tree, but not my home. My heart seems to be the chilly wind blowing. Remember dad said to me, dont be deterred by this little difficulty, try to pursue. I think the "difficult" should include the previous apathy. I want to have a complete set of barbie dolls, because, I want to beautiful should be a lot of girls dream in the heart. 今天是圣诞节。天依旧是那么的冷，但阻止不了我盼望圣诞老爷爷给我送礼物的火辣的心。到了夜晚，家家户户都买了小礼物挂在五彩缤纷的圣诞树上，唯独我家没有。我的心好像被冷嗖嗖的风吹着。想起爸爸对我说的话——不要被这小小的困难所吓倒，要努力追寻。我想这个“困难”应该包括这先前的冷漠吧。我想有一整套的芭比娃娃，因为，我想美丽漂亮应该是许多女孩心中的梦吧。但我不是因为“它”而想要这一整套的芭比娃娃，是因为我多么想有他们的经历呀!想着想着，我就睡着了。再甜美的梦乡中，还是梦到了圣诞老爷爷给我送礼物的情景——圣诞老爷爷微笑着把我梦寐以求的圣诞礼物给了我后，对我说了一句话。这句话是“祝你圣诞节快乐!”说完后，圣诞老爷爷就驾着装满礼物的马车走了。醒来后，我并没有发现我想要的礼物，我笑了笑说;"也许圣诞老爷爷太忙了，没时间来给我送礼物了呢?"

12月全然没有冬日的凛冽，只存在春天的温暖。小学最后一束梅花开放，开放在梅花应当开的节日—圣诞。

每到这天，桌上总会横七竖八地摆满贺卡，写满祝福的语句。远方被色彩的蜡笔涂抹，配上纷纷扬扬的大雪，献出圣诞节的纯真无邪。放学后，同学们莫不在小摊买彩带、买气球，冒着鹅毛大雪点缀教室和走过的每处路段。学校丧失往日的尊严，取而代之的是圣诞节浓郁的气氛，还有那久违了的安谧恬静，优雅芳香……

在那梅花开的季节中，无处不存在欢乐，把平日里激烈的竞争甩在脑后。小学洁白无瑕的圣诞节，大家齐心协力，在教室里外插满彩带鲜花。这笑不是愚人节的嘲笑，这笑不是儿童节的微笑，更不是胜利时惟我独尊的骄傲。再看看课桌上堆积如山的贺卡和同伴不厌其烦的“圣诞快乐”，一种如家般的暖流涌入心窝，令人倍觉温馨。这西方鲜花绽放的节日，估计传进东亚，也没什么两样罢!

圣诞节在记忆的波涛中总是弥撒着迷人的幽香，永远都是这样。刚刚玩完雪仗的我们，稚气十足，给圣诞节丰盛的佳肴再添一道美味。漫步街头，沉吟着“雪却输梅一段香”的名句里，踩着脚下未肯融化的寒雪，我们在领略大自然和历史带来的礼物。社区内圣诞树巍然屹立，五彩缤纷;霓虹灯闪烁不断。夜幕降临，城市被雪和绚丽的色彩所笼罩，月光也黯淡了。欣赏这难得的圣诞日的京城，我的思绪仿佛重回远古，同样是大雪纷飞的12月……

In Alaska,a star on a pole is taken from door to door,followed by Herods Men,who try to capture the star.Colonial doorways are often decorated with pineapple,a symbol of hospitality.

In Alaska,boys and girls with lanterns on poles carry a large figure of a star from door to door.They sing carols and are invited in for supper.
