Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. Some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

Rise and shine on Christmas morning! The children are always the first ones to wake up, some even do at four. Present wrappers everywhere! They look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….I hope no one’s disappointed. I feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. Children play while dinner is prepared by the adults. The Christmas dinner are usually eaten together by relatives. The tradition of Christmas pudding and roosters are usually eaten with deserts afterwards. The rest of the day is usually games and fun before the good days all come to an end.

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December. It is a very happy day for many boys and girls. Before the term ends in some schools, the children act a nativity or “birth” play, showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

一年里，我们中国都会过一个十分特殊的节日。那个几日就是——圣诞节。圣诞节并不是中国的传统节日，那是西方的节日，然而我们也就学着西方那样过着圣诞节。圣诞节是一个非常好的节日，在圣诞节里，有些大人打扮成圣诞老人，小孩子们则会很开心，因为在圣诞节里，他们可以吃到自己想吃，又喜欢的糖果和零食，还能得到礼物。

圣诞节是一个非常好玩的节日。一到圣诞节，在商场，或者一些大大的娱乐场所，都会摆出一个特别漂亮的圣诞树。他们为那普普通通的圣诞树装扮，在树上挂好装饰品，彩带，花朵，蝴蝶结，星星等等。装饰好这些圣诞树之后，他们便有开始在圣诞树上挂好礼物，在树的脚下堆好礼物，这样的普通的圣诞树就被人们装饰的非常美丽了。

因为圣诞节很受我们的喜欢，所以很多的生产家便会制作许多的圣诞树，还有那些彩带装饰品，气球等等。在圣诞节那天，早上，会有许许多多的人去逛街。小孩子们会随着大人，去娱乐场所看看，兴许能参加到一些好玩的游戏。说不定赢了，就能获得一件难得的礼物，即使礼物并不贵，但是能得到那样的礼物，也是一件十分开心的事情了!

白天出去的人还不算太多，夜晚才是真正的游玩的时候。在晚上，外面的娱乐的地方会打开一盏盏灯，一群表演的人站在广场表演节目给观众看。深夜人们就早已进入了梦乡，那个时候，我们所说的“圣诞老人”就出来的，我们所知道和了解到的圣诞老人，是穿着一身红色绒衣，带着一顶红色的帽子。

其实，世界上并没有圣诞老人，那圣诞老人也只是一些年轻人装扮的，他们觉得有趣，可能会在每个人的家里面投进一盒盒礼物。小孩子们则是在梦中，他们想着圣诞老人来到他们的屋子里，然后爬上他们的屋檐上，在烟囱里投下他们所喜欢，又想要的礼物。这个圣诞节是一个非常美好又快乐的几日。

虽然圣诞节并不是中国的传统节日，但是人们却非常的喜欢圣诞节，小时候听着一个个有趣的童话，认为世界上存在着麋鹿还要圣诞老人。所以并不是有真正的圣诞老人，但这是我们心中怀有的一个美梦。圣诞节就是这么快乐!

我自小就喜欢圣诞节，因为节日能够收到很多礼物，节日的气氛令我快乐，节日的气息让我感到温暖。

在我房间里，就摆放着很多圣诞的饰品和用品，其中一个最普通却最重要的就是“圣诞老人”雕塑。“圣诞老人”除了是圣诞节的主角以外，还是爸爸去年圣诞节送给我的礼物，我非常珍惜它。

记得去年的圣诞节，爸爸妈妈带我去香港中环皇后像广场，那里摆放着一个十多米高的圣诞树，虽然是装饰物，但是打扮得非常漂亮。树的顶端有一个白色的五角星，从顶端到树脚，整个身体都装饰着各种各样且多姿多彩的圣诞礼物，配上灯光，在晚上闪烁出漂亮的七彩星光，美丽极了，很有节日的气氛。

听表姐说，圣诞节，会有圣诞老人在那里派礼物，早到的小朋友都能拿到圣诞老人派发的礼物，我也很想收到一份。

第二天一大早，我就吵着爸爸带我去皇后像广场。清晨的天气非常寒冷，爸爸说，气温只有七、八度。虽然如此，当我来到广场时，看到已经有很多小朋友聚集在那里了。果然，我看到大家都围着圣诞老人在索取礼物，我也凑热闹地走上前去，希望收到圣诞礼物。可惜，当我走近圣诞老人时，圣诞老人同大家说，今天的礼物已经派完了，明天请早。我甚是失望，伤心地转身向爸爸走去。

当我走到爸爸跟前，爸爸双手递上一个用花纸包得很漂亮的圣诞礼物，对我说：“圣诞快乐!这是圣诞老人送给您的”。我很高兴，也很诧异，圣诞老人明明说礼物已经派完了，为什么爸爸手上还会有一个圣诞礼物呢?哦，我明白了，爸爸就是我心目中的圣诞老人：慈祥、和蔼、亲切。我感动的说“爸爸，圣诞快乐!”

想起体育健将的后空翻，我不由地笑了。那是去年冬天的故事……

圣诞节终于被我盼来了。那天下午，班长给教室搬来一棵圣诞树，体育健将也指挥着大家搬桌子，卫生委员也叫了几位女生打扫卫生。这可令我们这些无关的人迷惑不解。弄出这么大的动静，道底要干什么呢？

忽然，“叮铃铃，叮铃铃”的上课铃声响了，我们的三位代课老师都走了进来。随后，我们班的舞王――刘轩用她填美的声音叫道：“今天是圣诞节，有特殊人为你们表演哦！请示目以待吧！”体育健将大摇大摆地走了上来。刚开始就让大家对他刮目相看：先来了个后空翻，又来了个单手翻，最后又给大家跳了段拉丁舞。可真精彩！

舞王带着她的两个小徒弟走了上来。之后，音乐奏响了。她们三个跳起优美的舞蹈。

还有走秀、演故事……

那天可真精彩，至令我难以忘怀。我真希望天天都是诞节。

December 25th is Christmas day, my mother told me: Christmas is not a traditional Chinese festival, it is a festival in western countries the biggest, equivalent to the Spring Festival of our country.

Now our country Christmas is very grand. A few days before Christmas, go into the street, every corner lets a person feel the atmosphere of the festival. Most of the merchants, shopping malls with a Christmas tree and with a charming smile form to Santa Claus, some on the door, and some in the hall. The Christmas tree is tower, wearing a green dress, slow little taco bell, as long as gently touched, jingle, make beautiful sounds, all sorts of color of small lights like the stars in the sky blink of an eye, and as a small colorful lanterns, flash, beautiful!

Many merchants in order to attract customers eye, in a transparent glass door spew out all kinds of Christmas gifts of graphics, some direct hit "celebrate Christmas promotion" of all kinds of benefits of advertising. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, I hope every children want presents can have a big surprise, of course I was no exception.

12月25日是圣诞节，妈妈告诉我：圣诞节不是中国传统的节日，它是西方国家一年中最盛大的一个节日，相当于我们国家的春节。

现在我们国家的圣诞节很隆重。圣诞节前几天，走到大街上，每个角落都让人感受到过节的气氛。大多数的商家、商场都摆着圣诞树和面带笑容形态可掬的圣诞老人，有的放在门口，有的摆在大厅。圣诞树呈塔形，穿着一件绿衣裳，身上挂慢了一个个小铃铛，只要轻轻一碰，叮当、叮当发出动听的声音，各种颜色的小灯好像天上眨眼的星星，又像五颜六色的小灯笼，一闪一闪的，美丽极了!

好多商家为了吸引顾客的眼睛，在透明的玻璃门上喷出各种圣诞礼物的图形，有的直接打出“庆圣诞大促销”的各种让利广告。明天就是平安夜，希望每个想得到礼物的小朋友都能有个特大的惊喜，当然我也不例外。
