Children like to wake up early while its still dark and sneak into the living room to check the presents----find any with their name on it, shake them to guess whats inside, and then maybe theyll go back to bed and pretend they are still asleep when their parents come to wake them with a "Merry Christmas!"

But almost no one I know gets completely dressed or eats a regular breakfast first thing Christmas morning. They just put on a robe or wear their pajamas and go to see whats under the Christmas tree. Someone will begin to take the presents out from under the tree, see whose name is on the package, and then pass them around. On Christmas Day, both armies moved from their positions to engage in the killing of war at other battlefields. However, on Christmas Eve 1914 on a field in Flanders, there was Peace on Earth.

Christmas is a truly amazing phenomenon. The day and season perpetuate a miraculous, historical event as an annual presence that challenges an often rough, cruel, and egotistical creature -- the human being -- to become open and amenable to their Creators vision. The great miracle of Christmas continues in the performance of humane acts, moral honesty, and in the spiritual awareness of millions struggling to lead a life of grace.

晚会在欢乐的气氛中进行着，演员们使出全身解数，来博得观众的笑声和掌声。观众们个个笑得脸红通通的，巴掌都拍痛了。晚会接近尾声时，我们全班同学拿出了最后的秘密武器——五颜六色的花瓣，抛向空中，抛向演员们……

看着这些美丽的花瓣，我想：在这个特殊的日子里，圣诞老人成了我们最可爱的人。

圣诞节是我最喜爱的节日了。它虽然不是我国的节日，但是我还是喜欢它，因为我曾在小学时过了一个令人感到愉快的圣诞节。

在那一天，老师让我们准备了圣诞袜和圣诞帽等过圣诞节时必须的物品。

早上，刚一进校门，便可听见悠扬的乐声，放眼望去，远处有两个&ldqu;圣诞老人&rdqu;，其中一个正抱着萨克斯演奏着圣诞节的音乐，而另外一个呢?他已被同学围的寸步难行了，原是发糖果的。我也激动起了，早已把寒冷忘得一干二净了，向圣诞老人奔去，挤进了人群，终抢到了几颗糖果。
