爱看书的爱好还得从四年前说起。那是贪玩的我并不怎么爱看书，但有一次，从玩具堆中发现了一本被翻开的书。好奇心促使我看了下去。一下子，我马上被书中那精美的插图与那精彩的内容给吸引了。长大后，我越来越爱看书了，每天都要看，少看一天都不行，成了一个不折不扣的“小书虫″。为此，我还闹出了笑话呢!记得有一次，妈妈让我烧水，烧水时，我顺便拿起一本书，津津有味地品读书中的精彩内容，看得忘乎所以。

虽然我因为看书误了事，但我仍然爱读书，因为从书中，我学会了许多知识，悟出了许多道理，认识许多朋友：丑小鸭、灰姑娘、孙悟空、鲁迅、冰心、爱迪生……读书还使我的作文水平提高了不少呢!

My winter vocation Winter holidays are coming. I am going to get up very

late at about half past nine because I feel litter tired. now I am on

vacation.

I don’t have to go to school. How wonderful ! During this vacation I can do

lots of interesting things. For example, I am going to play basketball ,

computer games and some other games. But of course, I must always remember that

I am still a student .

the Spring Festival

1 Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year. To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West. the dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the GREgorian calendar, so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February.

To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year＇s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.

2 Spring Festival is the most importantand popular festival in China.Before Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses.And they go to the Flower Fairs to buy some flowers.During Spring Festival ,the adults usually give lucky money to children.People often get together and have a big meal.Some people eat dumpling for dinner.

以往过新年时，我都是当家中的少爷，嘴动脚不动，往沙发上一躺就当上了一家四口的指挥官：爷爷，帮我煮两个鸡蛋; 妈妈，快点儿去杀鸡，过新年可少不了鸡肉呀;奶奶，快去洗菜，晚上我要大饱口福;爸爸……想起往年一家人在忙碌，而我却悠哉悠哉地在沙发上休息，心里实在有些过意不去。今年我这人指挥官决定降职，当一回士兵。

我今天的首要任务是杀鸡。我走向阳台，刚打开鸡笼，一股臭味迎面扑来。一大泡浊黄的鸡屎随之映入我的眼帘。我被炮弹熏得昏头转向，都快要呕吐了。唉，想不到平时指挥别人容易，今天自己还没做就觉得这么难了。天呀，看来我还是回去做我的指挥官得了。我拍拍屁股正想脚底抹油??溜之大吉时，代理指挥官??妈妈出现了，她指了指鸡笼，又指了指我，说道：你不想干可以回去当你的指挥官，你还是让我干吧，这事儿小孩子干不了。我一听急了，大声说：我想干都想疯了，小孩子怎么了?我一样可以干好!说罢我立刻回到阳台去，抓起鸡便往厨房赶，吹牛到这个地步，也只好拿刀、备开水，把脸打肿来充一回胖子了。

原本不想杀鸡嫌脏要一走了之而后又打肿脸充胖子的我中了妈妈的激将法后，把好奇心也给激了出来了。我迫不及待地想看看掉毛鸡的丑样，在妈妈的帮助下我按住鸡脖子，大刀那么一挥便给它割出了一道殷红的伤口，血汩汩地流了出来。鸡在不停地挣扎，最终慢慢地软了下来。我把它丢进滚滚的热水里浸泡，几分钟后再捞上来拔毛，看着那脏而凌乱的羽毛。我有些反胃，但好奇心始终占了上风，我小心翼翼地拔毛，好大一会儿工夫才把鸡毛拔光，展现在眼前的是一只没穿衣服的鸡，我的好奇心得到了满足，任务也胜利完成了。

我杀完鸡后，代理指挥官又给我派了下一个任务——洗菜。胜利后的我信心百倍，捧起一大把自己最Love的莴笋便兴冲冲地往厨房冲去。由于我在以前也洗过菜，有前科，所以仅半个钟头，我便洗干净了战利品。

接着，我继续帮妈妈打下手，妈妈夸我做得好，我感到得很开心、很幸福。

这个新年，我不再是大少爷兼高级指挥官，而是做一位冲锋上前线的士兵。既学会了杀鸡，又帮妈妈打下手。瞧，不一般吧!

傍晚，家家户户都开始亮起了灯，鞭炮声渐渐开始响起。终于又到了这一年的结束。唉……又老了一岁。

到了晚八点，天空便成了烟火的世界，仿佛约好了一般，每家每户都同时点燃了礼花。夜空中一瞬间便成了烟花的海洋。夜，就这样黯淡了下去。

春晚开始了，好吧，这好像成了我们的一种习俗，一家人围坐在桌前，包着饺子，看着春晚，说不出的和谐感。

话说今年的春晚可真是精彩，我最喜欢的相声小品，爆笑连连，果真没让我失望。若是时间再长一些，那真真是极好的。

也许还有很多人，还没有回家吧，也许远在台湾的舅爷爷又在想念家乡吧。这已经不重要了，因为，在这样一个节日里，我们的心都在一起了。我面对着万家灯火，微微一笑。

我们这一生，都在回家的路上。
