那些年，乡村的年画只有到国营的供销社才能买到，也属于计划经济体制下的一种统购统销产品。每到新年临近，供销社都会在屋子里拉上几根绳子，上面悬挂带有编号的年画样品，人们可以在此任意欣赏，需要购买时只要向营业员报上年画的编号，营业员很快卷好并简单包装后就可以“一手交钱一手交货”了。
