It was the Eve of the Spring Festival.

Dusk was just falling as I slurped up the last bit of rice and laid down my chopsticks.

“Theyre starting!” cried my friend excitedly. “Quick! Quick!”

Outside, children were running everywhere. Their happy voices and faces made me warm inside, despite the cold wind that greeted me. My friend thrust a bundle of straw in my hands. “Come!” he cried. I giggled as I ran to catch up to him; the childrens excitement was a fever that spread to even the big kids like us.

I soon joined a rowdy bunch of children and teenagers who were building a bonfire in the middle of a path that ran through the wheat fields. “Here,”said my friend, handing me a long bamboo pole. “Put some of your straw in the fire. Then tie the rest onto your pole like this.” He demonstrated with his own materials, and I followed his example. Then he thrust both our torches into the fire and handed me mine. “Now run!”

And run I did----we all did. For miles and miles around, as far as I could see, there were small orange specks scattered about, and I could hear the distant screaming and laughing of other children running up and down the rice field path. For several hours into the night I helped build fires and keep an eye on the younger children. Occasionally I, too, lit a torch and ran around like a mad man, screaming and waving a flaming bamboo pole.

This festival, which occurred six days before Chinese New Year, was just one of the experiences during the visit to my friends over the Spring Festival. As it was explained to me, the purpose behind this festival was to allow the children to have fun burning up all the straw leftover after the harvest. Later, the ash is used for fertilizer.

Our life will change greatly in the future.

接着，我用筷子夹起一小块肉，放在蛋饺中间。我用筷子挑了挑，没想到蛋皮像生了根一样，紧紧粘在了大勺子上。我急了，用筷子拼命铲蛋皮，总算把又破又焦的蛋皮铲下来了。我把它翻过来盖住对边，结果怎么也粘不住……最后，还是妈妈帮我“收拾残局”的。

我有点灰心，刚想放弃，妈妈走过来对我说：“没关系，任何事情总有第一次的嘛。你来找一下窍门，再做就会容易一些了。”我冷静下来，仔细地想，还真想出了窍门：第一，油一定要涂满大勺子，蛋皮就不容易被烤焦。第二，做的过程中动作一定要快，做完一个马上放到盘子里。有了窍门，再加上我坚持不懈地努力，蛋饺一个比一个做得好看，也不焦了。终于，一盘蛋饺做好了!我好激动啊!

新年到了，在大年三十那天晚上，我们一家去给太婆拜年。

我小时候最喜欢春节。春节前夕，家家户户都会忙着贴对联，挂挂钱，按灯笼，有的人家还会在窗户的四周安上窗灯，一到晚上，美丽极了。记得每到这个时候，天都非常冷，可我却依然忍不住出来看。跟着爸爸读对联上的字，和妈妈一起数挂钱，和弟弟妹妹一起给爸爸妈妈打下手，既是又冷又累，我们却依然很开心。

每到除夕那天，会有好多人来我们家，送各种各样的好吃的，亲戚们也都会来，同时也领来哥哥姐姐，弟弟妹妹，非常热闹，这也是我最盼望的事。兄弟姐妹一齐，我们就带村子里的小树林，小树林附近是玉米地，冬天一到，玉米地全结了冰，有很多孩子会到那里玩。

爸爸用以前的滑冰鞋和几块木板给我们做了冰车，我们轮流在车上滑，别提多开心。天还没有太黑，村子里的鞭炮声就不停地响，各色的烟花在天空上展示它们的美。我们几个孩子全都跑出来看。妈妈们在屋里包饺子，爸爸们在一起喝茶聊天。十一点多，我们开始吃饭，饺子里包着硬币。小时候，能在饺子里吃出硬币是一件非常值得炫耀的事。十二点多，我们躺在床上，心想着第二天会有更有意思的事情，美美的进入了梦乡。

第二天，孩子们都早早的起了床，穿上新衣服，打扮的漂漂亮亮的，吃过早饭，就到亲戚家拜访，男孩子还要磕头。上午九点钟是拜年的高峰期，大街上来来往往的人很多，不管认不认识，总要说声过年好。每个人脸上都洋溢着喜悦的欢笑。到了晚上，大家都聚在一个屋，吃着水果，喝着茶，聊着天。我们几个孩子却在后屋玩起了橘子皮大战。这是新年最有意思的事。直到很晚了，我们才依依不舍的回各自的房间睡觉。这种节日的气氛一直到初五初六，亲戚们都走了，春节也结束了。

这种春节是我现在最期待的，可惜再也体会不到了。现在的春节，一点年味都没有，除夕的夜晚，只有零星的火花在天空挣扎，初一的上午，街上只有断续的人们，他们的脸上没有了喜悦，擦肩而过只得到一脸的冷漠，没有了善意的微笑。每到晚上，没有了聚在一起聊天的祥和，只有聚在一起打麻将的争执。老人独自在前屋看电视，打麻将的儿女在后屋吵闹。孩子们再也没有了当年橘子皮大战的乐趣，取而代之的是手机，电脑，电视，游戏。

现在的春节越过越麻木，年味越来越少，气氛越来越低，真想回到以前的春节，只可惜时钟只能前进，不能后退。过去，只能回忆和回味。

新年的灯，千姿百态，五彩缤纷。家乡的灯更是如此，会让人沉浸在这繁华热闹的“灯世界”里。请随我的笔去游览仙居城的灯世界吧！

环城南路的灯可美丽了，左边的树闪着美丽的银色，远远望去，犹如一条无尽的银河，加上那些“呼呼”转的小七彩风车，银河似乎在缓缓地向前流去。右边的树上挂满了一个个红灯笼，朝前望去，好像一条威武的长龙，风驰电掣般向前飞去，加上风一阵阵往长龙吹去，长龙的鳞片似乎闪烁了一下。

穿城中路的灯也不赖，走在街上，映入眼帘的就是一片“流星雨”。“流星雨”在树上下着，银光闪闪。有人说，它像晶莹的冰凌；有人说，它像闪亮的水帘。最引人注目的是大剧院前的广场上立着的那个“红灯笼”大鼓，这是由许许多多个小灯笼组合而成的，巨大而威严，而且格外的明亮。我最喜欢这个大鼓，真想拿着鼓槌狠狠地击打，奏出新年的新篇章。

解放街的灯更好看，无论是灯的数量，还是灯的亮度，都更胜一筹。两旁挂着数也数不清的灯笼，整整齐齐，像一列列英姿飒爽的队伍，在微风中威严壮观。仔细一看，发现，原来每棵树上的灯笼以四个大灯笼再加两个小灯笼这样的顺序挂的。

永安街的灯虽然平平淡淡，只是两旁的树挂着几个大大小小的灯笼，可是我却觉得它涵义深刻。它好像在告诉人们，生活地平淡一点没什么，只要安详，和平，也一样可以幸福美满，这和街道的名字“永安” （ 永远平安）不正是一样的意思嘛！

正月初六的傍晚，我们一大家人说说笑笑地去纯阳观看灯会。

我们到时，天还没黑，没有开灯，于是我决定先总览全貌，了解灯的布置情况，找到好的灯饰，开灯后再尽情欣赏，因为今年是兔年所以不少地方都有兔子的灯饰，还有许多小巧而又能反映中国历史和传统的灯，如：孝子灯、旁王灯等等。

大约七点左右，天已黑了下来，灯也亮了，五彩缤纷，照得人眼花缭乱，先前那些活泼可爱的兔子都动了起来，我只觉得自己仿佛到了月宫，正在看玉兔捣药呢。

纯阳观内有忠孝两亭，孝亭内有泥塑二十四孝，但它远远没有灯饰中的孝子灯吸引人，再配上色、声能给人以身临其境的感觉。其中有一组灯是根据新津民间传说《望娘滩》做的。灯饰中，有一条龙，那条龙欲飞而又未飞，只是一个劲的点头，仿佛又在听娘的倾诉，它有一只脚还是人脚，那是因为娘抓住它的一只脚而未变成龙脚的。这组灯饰有色、有声，将古老的传说以独特的形式展现在人们面前，很具有艺术魅力。

帝王灯汇集了中国历史上政绩卓越的历代帝王，将一部中国的历史活生生的展现在人们眼前，具有很高的欣赏价值。

我们又往前面走，突然看见一只“大老虎”正朝着我叫，它的背上是黄黑相见的条纹，额上有个“王”字，两只眼睛睁得圆圆的，说真的，要不是在灯会上看见，还以为是只真老虎呢！

参观了纯阳观的灯会以后，我受到了艺术的熏陶，也使我感到人民的生活改善了，精神生活也上了个新台阶。

Up to the time of my writing this article, Aero has been helping me with my selecting the courses with great effort. He is a friendly and zealous guy. I think he has been liked by others since long ago because of his characteristics. He is always brisk,enthusiastic, energetic and he is smiling no matter when or where you see him. However, I like him for some other reason.It seems that between us there is a special way to communicate and its not the usual way through which we communicate such as words and gestures. He has always been a friend of mine be cause I like the way he acts and lives and the way we communicate.

One morning a week ago, he came to me and asked if he could be of help. Actually I had been worrying about my course of this semester for days since I hadnt got any English courses yet! Still I was totally caught off guard by Aeros offer though he had always been kind. I thought it was my own business and it had never occurred to me that some other individual would offer to help with my selecting the courses. So I declined his kindness.  The very next day, I got a cough and it later turned out to be a four-day high fever. In those days, I was extremely weak and lay in bed all day long and hardly had any strength even to eat. I lost the power to keep an eye on the possible vacancies of the English courses ever since I got a high fever. I began to regret declining Aeros offer. Just at that moment, Aero called,asking about my health and told me to have a good rest, saying that he would shoulder the responsibility of selecting my English courses for me. Now I am writing this article as the homework of this writing course and Id like to re emphasize that it is all due to my friends effort that I have finally made it.

I was really grateful to him when he called and offered to help and it is hard to express my gratitude with words.  All I want to say about it is that at that moment, I realized that he had offered to help not because it made him feel he was important but because he meant business. Hes a man of integrity. I am proud of having such a friend.

On Sunday, after breakfast, I went downstairs and walked down the stairs. I saw an iron cage on the lawn. There was a big white rabbit, a small white rabbit and a small gray rabbit.

我和同伴被挂在楼道两旁，为每一个进楼的人们微笑。我常常想到灯笼王曾对我的叮嘱，为此，我感到十分兴奋，挺胸抬头，忽而静立不语，忽而翩翩舞蹈。为过往的人们增添一点新年的气氛，让他们从我红扑扑的脸上看到洋溢的热情。傍晚，我会替尉迟敬德和秦琼守护门口，红彤彤的留守黑夜，睁大眼睛到晨光熹微时。

随着春节的临近，年味也越来越浓了。逛商店的女人们，总是很晚才回家。她们提着为全家人过年准备的大包小包，脸上略带着着挑选商品的不易所产生的疲惫，但这种疲惫又被成功后的喜悦所替代，还有对几天后家人穿上新衣时快乐神情的憧憬，我甚至可以想象家里温暖的快乐，温馨的一家，团圆的除夕。我又痴痴的想着年夜饭想着家家团圆想着幸福温馨了。可是，一步步的走向兔子的尾巴尖，谁能不期盼着赶快到来呢?

伴着猪年脚步的渐渐行进，各种人性化的新年措施也紧锣密鼓的准备着：树梢间牵上了细长的绳子，用来悬挂各种礼花鞭炮，可以想象无数闪闪的星光从上面倾泻而出时的样子;树枝中绕上了绚烂的彩灯，一串串五光十色的美丽，一句句夜晚悄悄念叨的呓语，我们目的相同，只为新年献上自己的祝福;屏幕上播放了栩栩如生的图画，滚动的祝福语字幕，缕缕幸福的滋味。我晃晃圆滚滚的身子，高兴的看着旁边的同伴，她的脸也和我一样红呢!
