北京人除夕晚上的年夜饭(又称团圆饭)是必不可少的，也是全年最丰盛的一次晚餐。除夕的年嬉饭要荤素一起上。有冷荤、大件和清口菜。冷荤有冷炖猪、羊肉、冷炖鸡、鸭。大件有：红烧肉、扣肉、米粉肉、红白丸子，四喜丸子。清口菜一般都是豆腐、青菜、罗十、咸菜佛手等。主食多以荤素睡觉为主。

北京人除夕和正月初一都要吃饺子，取其“更岁交子之义“。还总是把饺子包成元宝形，在饺子中放进糖、铜钱、花生、枣、栗子等。如吃到糖的，意味着日后生活甜蜜;吃到铜钱意味着有钱花;吃到花生意味着长寿，因花生又名长生果，吃到枣和栗子的意味着早立子……

The new year is to eat dumplings, I helped my mother wash the coins, then Zhaomaohuahu also together to wrap dumplings. Our family is happy and laughable, tasting delicious food and talking about the happiest things of the day. Of course, my brother and I are most happy, of course, is "congratulations on getting rich, the red envelopes are coming". This year I also learned an interesting event, listen to my grandma said, send kitchen is celebrated on the twenty-four day of the twelfth lunar month, the day God banished to the emperor to report the things of the earth. As The Spring Festival  is coming, I decide to tell you something  about Spring Festival  .

Spring Festival ,known as the Chinese New Year,which counts from the first day in the lunar calendar ,and is the most important holiday in China.From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses ,have their hair cut,and buy new clothes .Jiaozi or dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from their home,this festival is also a framily reunion occasion.

And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family.At the time,the children will play the fireworks and firecracker。further more，once the children greet to olds，  for return,the olds will give the children lucky money.and last The first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends and wish each other good luck in the new year,remember to be happy！

This morning I went to the English corner which is in the park near my home. It is three years since it was founded. Many middle school students as well as college students and foreigners take part in the activity. People there practice speaking English by talking about something interesting. People also exchange the experience in English Learning. I think it is a good chance for me to use what I have learnt in my English class. I felt very cool after I got back home. I’ll try my best to learn English better, for it is so widely used in the world.

The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

Our English teacher, Mrs Wang, is about forty years old. She always wears a pair of glasses. She is very strict with us. When we make a mistake, she often makes us stand up. But we hear that her home is far from our school. Every morning she has to walk to school for forty minutes. And she is never late. Then we come to see that Mrs Wang loves us dearly. She teaches us so carefully. In fact, she is a good teacher.

Soon after the year, everyone is happy.

When I mentioned the new year, I was very happy. Why? Because you can put fireworks and stick to Spring Festival couplets. This is not to the Spring Festival, we come in from time to time came the sound of fireworks in the odd. I had been flying out at the center of the house. I really thought about the addiction to fireworks. The opportunity came at last. New years Eve, I hurried to eat a few meals, took dad, swiftly ran downstairs from my dads car trunk out fireworks. I let go, ignition, cover their ears, just listen to the sound of sharp hissing sound, then a loud "bang" fireworks in the night to draw a fox exploded, spell out a bunch of bright sparks, rotation, zoom, deformation, a beautiful Christmas tree miraculously appeared the. "Oh, the fireworks."

I jumped and jumped very happily. A string of fireworks into the sky, flower, bright sky as bright as day. Many children were attracted, and all were happy. Its been a long time without fireworks. Hey, it feels great to put the fireworks.

I always think there is not enoughTime. For example, I have just taken a

three-day holiday. But when I look back, I just feel that it’s only one day.

There goes a proverb, “Time is money”. Now I want to say, time is more precious

than money, because when money is spent, we can earn some more again. However,

when time is gone or lost, never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually

limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it’s a pity that I am

always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think, I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting

time is equal to wasting one’s life. Do not put off what can be done today till

tomorrow!
