The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past, people could not often have meat, rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. 在我觉得什么节日最好，我肯定会选春节，我不是为了要亲人的红包，是为了和自己的亲人团聚。在春节的前几天，我们家买好了食品开车回湖南，我们开了7小时到了湖南，我一下车姐姐就过来给了我个拥抱。

一月二十四日,正值春运高峰。火车站内挤满了等待回家的人们,我和爸爸好不容易买到了福州到武昌的火车票、几经周折,我们终于踏上了回家的归程。

凌晨两点，我们终于回到了家乡，家里的亲人都跑出来迎接我们。

春节的前一天是除夕，也就是大年三十。关于除夕有这么一个传说：古时候有一个怪物叫夕，每一年的岁末它就会来害人。后来，人们知道夕最怕声响和红光。于是到了那天，大家就点燃鞭炮，门上贴上了春联，把夕给吓跑了。就这样人们为了纪念这一天，把大年三十定为除夕日。

现在每到这一天，家家户户都会贴春联，放鞭炮，开开心心地过除夕。

这一天，我家也一样。全家人可忙了：爸爸和爷爷忙着布置房间，妈妈和奶奶忙着准备晚餐，我和姐姐忙着放鞭炮。

到了晚上，全家围着圆桌开开心心地吃起了团圆饭。看，大圆桌上摆满了丰盛的美味佳肴：有红红的大龙虾，有香喷喷的红烧肉，有色泽鲜艳的蔬菜等，最引人注目的是桌子中间的热腾腾的饺子，看得我口水直流。我们把菜吃得干干净净。尤其是爸爸，他的肚子已经圆溜溜了，他还要吃。吃完饭，我们还拿到了大人们分给的压岁钱。

吃完饭，大家就一起放烟花。看，一朵朵五颜六色的鲜花飞到了夜空中，这些颜色可美了！红的似火、白的像雪、粉的如霞姿态也很吸引人，有的如金花四溅，有的像天女散花，有的似孔雀开屏真是姿态万千呀！望着五彩缤纷的烟花，我们都笑开了怀。
