Dragon Boat Festival， often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival， is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. It is also known as the Double Fifth.[citation needed] It has since been celebrated， in various ways， in other parts of East Asia as well， most notably Korea.

In the early years of the Chinese Republic， Duan Wu was also celebrated as "Poets Day"， due to Qu Yuans status as Chinas first poet of personal renown.

Today， people eat zongzi (the food originally intended to feed the fishes) and race dragon boats in memory of Qus dramatic death.

也许你会说，古有陶渊明避居深山，诸葛亮隐于草庐，他们不也在退出?但我要说：非也!他们的年代岂能与如今的时代相提并论?

陶渊明避居山林，壮志未酬，那是为社会形势所迫。假如陶渊明生在今世，在现今激烈的竞争中，他还会隐居深山，过着那种“种.种豆，理理花”的清贫生活吗?陶渊明这块金子的蒙尘，是社会的过错。

至于诸葛亮，他自称“卧龙”，躬耕南阳，是在静候慧眼识珠的伯乐。最后，在刘备三顾茅庐的盛情相邀之下出得山去，相助使君，取得了巨大的成就，名垂千古。问题是，假如没有刘备呢?假如刘备没有那样的耐心三顾茅庐呢?那还会有如此辉煌的诸葛亮吗?假如将卧龙先生放置于现在这样人才济济的社会，你觉得他是依旧泰然处之，等领导请他出山呢，还是努力前去应聘?

环视古今社会，也有无数如鹰一般的人，他们也许天赋不佳，可是那百折不挠的品性，使得他们将那些所谓的“天才”抛之于后，达到了无人能及的高度，使人们只能仰视，感受那令人折服的光辉。古有越王勾践卧薪尝胆，今有海伦创造奇迹，神州有海迪坚韧不拔，海外有爱迪生千锤百炼。这，才是真正的鹰!

是金子，便要发光，假如一直退缩不前，哪怕尊贵如黄金，也唯有蒙尘一途，进而逐渐丧失光彩，成为一块普通的不能再普通的石头。

是雄鹰，便应翱翔于世间，俯视万物，傲视世界;是金子，便应发光、闪亮!

妈妈是家里的总管，专管各种各样的小事，比如家里有人生病了，她急忙去买药;妈妈把家里收拾的一尘不染，井井有条;家里来客人了，她总是热情地招待;耐心辅导我的功课;邻居家遇到了困难，她总会伸出援助之手;家里无论什么样的大大小小的事情，都需经过她的“签字”??掏钱……这些虽然都是一些小事，但妈妈都做的认认真真，踏踏实实，如在检查我的作业时，她从不轻易放过一个错别字和一道数学错题，特别是检查我的作文时，她总是要字字斟酌，句句推敲，力求做到尽善尽美。

爸爸是个“闲事人”，专注于学习与研究，常常在核心期刊上发表文章，也爱管家里的闲事，幽默风趣，有时常会闹一些小笑话，比如说我考试考了100分，回到家我把这个喜讯告诉爸爸妈妈后，妈妈会说：继续努力吧，孩子;

爸爸却会说：你考100分奖1角，考99分奖1元。我乐得捧腹大笑。

我好好学习，天天向上，争取每次考试考好，让爸爸妈妈知道我不是一个骄傲的孩子，而是一个努力向上的好学生。

我是一个人见人夸，人人喜爱的一个小女孩，今年快9岁了，喜爱美术，体育和跳舞;我的成绩很好，各科名列前茅，是老师面前的“大红人”!我可不是王婆卖瓜??自卖自夸，这些就是我在学业上“美丽”又“辉煌”的成就啦!经常帮妈妈做家务，帮爸爸校对文章，是个美丽的乖乖女!

我的家很美丽，各式各样的电器一应俱全，家里环境优美，干净整洁，美丽极了!地上铺满了绿色的地毯，远望好似新疆那辽阔的美丽的一望无际的草原;软牛皮的沙发是粉红色的，轻轻地坐在上面，舒服极了，真像喝了蜜一样甜;墙上刷满了蓝色的仿瓷和乳胶漆，白得像面粉一样……

爸爸妈妈都是光荣的人民教师，他们相亲相爱，互相学习，相互鼓励，共同进步。爸爸即将博士研究生毕业，妈妈在教学上也取得了可喜的成绩。他们在家中给我营造了浓厚的学习氛围，我淋浴其中，耳濡目染，悠然自得。爸爸妈妈和我经常嬉戏和做游戏，家里充满了欢声笑语，其乐融融。
