When I was very small, I had always heard many stories from my uncle,

A culture creats a city, the water and soil bring up the people. At the

foot of Erlang mountain, in the middle of Sichuan province, lies a small town

named Tian Quan. I am proud to say: it is my hometown.

Wherever I go, Tian Quan stays in my deep memory forever. I can not forget

the place where I was born and grow up, I can not forget the place where

surrounded by green mountains and water, I can not forget the good and honest

people who working hard in there, I can not forget every river, every street

there.

Standing at the top of the WenBi mountain, you will catch a bird’s eye view

of the whole Tian Quan. You will find it is a beautiful picture including the

Looking at the lovly provious animals , such as panda, Takin, Golden

monkey. You will thinks the nature has special power to make life so

My hometown has a long history of culture. There is the

tea-horse-accient-way, which attracts Chinese and foreign tourists to visit .

Walking on the tea-horse-accient-way, you can’t help sign in regret how long our

culture is!

Tian Quan is also famous for it’s culture of tea. In summer , the farmers

work on the tea plantations, you will regard it as a lively picture. If you have

a chance to work on the tea plantations, you can’t miss it! You can enjoy the

my father is a nice man. he likes to play computer games. he is

an owner of a factory which produces many things .he is good at designing. he

works very hard. i love him very much because, sometimes, i can help him to do

something in his factory .he is always on business trips because he has his

have any time to play with me but i don’t blame him for that. i often spend a

tallest one is my father. He is forty-eight years old. My mother is standing

beside him. She is not as my father. She is three years younger than my father.

Sitting in front of them are my grandparents. My grandfather is that fat one

I’m sitting between them. All of us love one anther. I have a happy family.

I’m going to the sun on my holiday. I will go there by a spaceship. I will

There was once a little girl named Jerry that lived with her mother in a

small cottage in the forest, they were very poor, and could only afford to eat

bread. “Oh no!” cried Jerry’s mother one noon, “We ran out of bread, and it is

almost time for supper!” “Do we have any eggs left?” asked Jerry, “No, none;”

said her mother very worried.

“Don’t worry mother,” said Jerry suddenly, “I shall go and get some in the

market.” Then she ran off through the forest to the market with her basket.

Along the way, she was quite tired, and so rested upon some big rocks. It

gradually became late and Jerry decided to go and buy the bread, but suddenly a

wolf cried out behind her; “Please, please help me!” cried the wolf, “I have a

problem that nobody wants to help!” then he held out his paw to Jerry, there was

a thorn stuck to his paw. “Is this a trick?” asked Jerry, “Because wolves like

to eat people.”

“Oh no,” answered the wolf, “We do not eat people now, we only want to eat

some bread with mustard on top;” then he cried again. Jerry quickly knelt down

and removed the thorn from the wolf’s paw; “Oh thank you! Thank you!” shouted

the wolf joyfully, “I shall never forget your kindness!” then the wolf returned

to his home. Jerry walked to the market to buy healthy fresh bread, and then she

ran off home with a full basket of it.

On the way, she was still tired; and so she stayed at the same place and

the same time. As she was about to go, some greedy wolves blocked her way; they

had water in their mouths and said, “Give us the bread!” said a wolf, “Where are

the mustard?” asked a second wolf, “Just give it to us!” shouted the third wolf.

Jerry had no choice, as she was about to give the fresh bread away to the wolf,

the wolf that she had saved before rushed out and said, “Leave her alone!” he

growled, “That girl saved me before, and so leave her alone!” he shouted

again.

The other wolves had no choice but to obey, they walked away. Jerry thanked

her new friend the wolf, and the wolf said that he was supposed to do that in

return. And so to show Jerry’s respect for him, she gave him half the bread, and

returned home immediately to tell her mother about it.

They had some bread that evening, and Jerry’s mother including Jerry

herself all became good friends with the wolf; the wolf also had plenty of

bread, and moved his home close to Jerry.

The moral of this story was, if you help others and they will help you, you

help them again then friends you’ll become. It will be a peaceful life if

friendship is all around us; and that would be great for an important

lesson.

My father is thirty-five years old. He is an attractive middle-age. He is

an engineer, working in a big factory of my city. His working time is regular,

going to office at eight o’clock and coming home at six o’clock. He works hard

and becomes an important person in his factory. At weekends, he does not go to

work, so that he usually stays at home or take my mother and I go out. In my

opinion, my father is a great person. He brings happiness to my family.

As a child, I am very naughty and forget about what my mother tells me. One

time, I go back home very late. When I see my mother, she smiles at first and

then turns angry, because she has told me before if I go home late, I must tell

her in advance. I let my mother heart-broken. I feel sorry and promise it won’t

happen again.

Thank you for your letter of congratulation on my exam results. I was very pleased to hear from you. The results were a great relief. I did much better than I thought I would.

We are having a celebration party on Saturday 22 May and we shall be pleased if you can come. It is a party for me, but my parents and some of their old friends are joining in, so you will find "real people" as well as teenagers to talk to.

The party starts at half past six- drinks, and a buffet supper later. You said in your letter that youve given up driving, so my father will meet you with the car at San Mateo station. Please let me know what time your train arrives.

There is a good train back to San Palo at 10:30 and well arrange transport for you to catch that. I hope that wont be too late for you. It would be a pity if you had to leave while the party was still in full swing.

As the new semester is coming, I feel so excited. It will be my last year
