Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. When I was a kid, the river was very clear and beautiful, so I always

wentswimming and fishing. Recently, I discover that there is more and more

garbage around the river. Garbage doesn’t reduce even though some people are not

willing to throw that into the trash. It not only affects human health but also

destroys our beautiful environment.

My teacher told me that if people still did not protect the environment, we

would be in trouble. For example, you eat a gum, but you throw it on the road.

Some animals will die because of the gum. If some animals die, it will causesome

infectious disease. Nevertheless, there are still more and more bottles on the

beach. Some people don’t know how to protect the environment, it may make water

become poisonous. Nowadays, researchers has discovered that human will get

cancer owing to the water.

What’s worse, some factories still break the law to pollute the river in
