其实这是一个非常简短的小故事，作者叫阿尔伯特?哈伯德，讲述的是1898年美西战争爆发，美国总统需要立即与古巴起义军将领加西亚将军取得联系，因为情况紧急，必须在最短的时间内找到加西亚、把重要的军事情报传递给他。但是，美国政府只知道加西亚将军潜伏在古巴的某个秘密丛林中，没有人知道他到底在哪里。这时，有人向总统举荐了美军一名叫罗文的中尉，说只有他才能找到加西亚。于是，罗文接受了任务：怀揣着总统的亲笔信，只身穿越硝烟弥漫的战场，冒着生命的危险，三个星期后，他终于在古巴的深山老林里找到了加西亚，把信交到了加西亚将军手中，胜利完成了总统交给的任务。

看完了书，我对妈妈说：“这本书虽然没有描述精彩的战争情节，而且我似乎也没能完全读懂，但是我非常认同书中的一句话：“敬业就是敬重自己的工作，把工作当成自己的事情，一切为了自己而做。”对于一名小学生来说，我的“工作”就是努力学习文化知识、增长本领。如果真正热爱学习，自然就会愿意主动付出更多时间和精力。把学习当作自己的事情来对待，就会主动发现自己的不足，积极想办法提升学习技能和成绩。我相信：天道酬勤，一分耕耘一分收获!今天自己付出的汗水是为了创造明天更美好的未来!

在学习中，每个人都会遇到困难。我以前总是有畏难情绪，一遇到难题就推给家长和老师，好像和自己一点关系也没有一样。因为没有坚强的意志，我做事容易半途而废，喜欢找借口当逃兵。通过学习罗文精神，我明白了：只有通过自己坚持不懈的努力，竭尽全力地战胜困难，才能从学习中享受到真正的快乐和满足。
