我的家乡本有一座老桥，它的年龄算起来比我爷爷的年龄还要大，它叫“定江桥”。它虽然比不上巍峨雄伟的现代立交桥，回旋别致的九曲桥，但它却为家乡的经济发展作出了重大的贡献。它曾经是我们家乡通往都江堰的唯一的桥梁。

这座桥有150多米，宽10米，有6个桥墩，像大力士一样撑着桥身。桥面设计很特别，中间的路面要矮一些，专供汽车行走，两边各有一条高出桥面的人行道。这样就能更好地保证行人的安全。
