我的家乡，是福建省的省会――福州。这里气候温暖，据说一千多年来就广种榕树，所以拥有榕城的美誉。

每到夏天，炎热难熬，骄阳似火，我最喜欢去的地方就是福州西湖公园。整个公园几乎全被榕树遮盖，像个大凉亭。老人在榕树下专注地下象棋，小孩在榕树下尽情地嬉戏；小鸟在榕树上欢快地唱着歌，小鱼在榕树旁的湖水中欢快地游玩榕树，简直成了我的家乡――福州的大宝贝啊！
