There is an old Chinese saying: Top students come from strict teachers.

Perhaps affected by this saying for a long time, we believe it right. However,

as time flies, lots of things have changed. Therefore, I am eager to discuss

what relation is the best between teachers and students.A teacher can treat a

student in two ways .One is strict, and the other is friendly. Most teachers

prefer the first way.To start with, we certainly have to admit that strictness

is very effective, especially to the naughty pupils.

As pupils we aren’t able to control ourselves well or fix our attention on

one thing for a long time. We do most things because they are interesting or we

feel like doing. We are always looking out of the window in class. Sometimes, we

get to play games and forget our homework. On this occasion, strictness is a

must. It not only forces us to do the right thing, but also helps us develop a

good learning habit, which is of great importance during our whole life .In

other words, it is the first step to success.Still, everything has two sides.

Its weak points are very obvious. You see, there’re top students in a class,

where average students make up the majority. Then teachers’ orders or

suggestions are for the majority, not for top students. However, top students

always have their own study plans and prefer special homework, so orders usually

won’t take great effect on them.

Maybe you have thought out that teachers can give orders only to the

majority and set some freedom to top students. However, it’s impossible .For a

whole class, teachers couldn’t give order to part of the class, for the majority

would question why they needn’t do such work, but we need? It would be probable

that they think teachers treat them not equally, and will not obey teachers’

orders any more. This is a difficulty for teachers.It also has another

disadvantage——the communication problem .Since teachers are strict, we never

tell teachers our personal affairs or secrets. Mostly we just tell them to our

friends, but as students too, they couldn’t help to solve our problem, such as

puppy love, communication problems or study problems .Not being solved

completely, they always disturb us, influencing our daily life and study. I’m

sure that you think that making friends with teachers can solve the problem, and

you are eager to do so as well. But if we do so, new problems will come out .You

see, an adult couldnt control himself well at times, let alone us students.

However if teachers are our friends, I doubt whether their orders will take

effect any more .You see, have we ever treated our friends’ orders as orders? We

think they’re only jokes. This is another difficulty for teachers.Additionally,

our parents have the same problem. Yes, we need to be friends, but not complete

friends. We need to keep a certain distance, making us communicate well and

willing to take your orders. I remember a story.One day, a lady had her rest

room decorated. And a skilled worker was bricking up the wall. Seeing large

cracks between the bricks, she questioned why. The worker told her after this

寒假的一天傍晚，天灰蒙蒙的，不一会下起了鹅毛大雪，我缠着爸爸要他带我出去玩。出了家门往远处望去，到处是白茫茫一片，树白了、房子白了、路也白了。在橘红色路灯的照射下就像美丽的童话世界一样，漂亮极了。每一脚踩下去都会发出欢快的咯吱咯吱的声音，好像是雪在向我们殷勤的召唤：“来吧来吧，尽情的玩吧”。

走了不久，我们来到了大学的门口，那里的雪像洁白的地毯铺在那里，没有一个脚印。于是我和爸爸就决定在这里玩，我高兴的唱着歌在“地毯”上来了一个驴打滚，平整的雪地顿时出现了一连串我欢快的身影。玩着玩着突然脚下一滑，什么东西?好奇心驱使我要看个究竟。用手刨开雪面看到了一点黄黑相间的圆溜溜的东西，原来是一条减速带。在回家的路上我们又照了好多照片留做纪念。

爸爸说：“好多年没下这么大的雪了”。我想：要是每年都下这么大的雪那该多好呀!我就可以玩个痛快了!回到家里，我扒下羽绒服一看哇!我的袖子里面都塞满了冰雪，怪不得感觉这么凉。妈妈笑着说：“你们出去玩一趟都快变成雪人了!”我这次玩的好开心呀!

我的植物朋友是多肉，我给多肉起名叫“肉肉”，因为肉肉的叶子鼓鼓的，胖胖的，摸上去肉乎乎的。

远看，肉肉像一个绿绒大伞，大伞下面有一些石凳，人们还坐在石凳上乘凉呢!近看，肉肉像一个绿色的莲花宝座，莲花宝座上面就像坐着一位大神仙。

肉肉的叶子是绿色的，叶子胖鼓鼓的。那些叶子聚拢在一起，就像一家人。我用鼻子闻了闻肉肉，一种清淡的香味扑鼻而来，香极了!

在五年级的校运动会上，我心不在焉地跳高时，拿了个第二；然后，又毫不情愿地加入了校挑选的体训队，由于我不愿意训练，所以每天下午几乎都在“逃亡”，直到10月26日的前一个星期之后。

那一天，老师把田径队所有队员都集中起来，告诉我们一个消息：一个星期后，我们将参加20xx年青山湖区第36届中小学生田径区运动会。我一听就蒙了，从加入田径队到现在，我总共才训练了不到10次，怎么比啊？我连忙问老师：“那我要参加什么项目？”老师低头看了看表，说：“跳高，接力，跳远。”听后，我吓得差点滑一跤，要说跳高也就算了，怎么还有接力和跳远呢？唉，没办法，好好训练一个星期吧，好歹要比赛了！于是，我正正经经地训练了一个星期。

一个星期后，我们来到了师专体育场。刚到那儿，50米预赛就要开始了，我正好没事，就当起了啦啦队和后勤队。一声枪响，参加50米的“陶子”冲了出去，在这短短的8秒里，我们都紧张极了。3、2、1！梅思梦第一名！我和“燕燕”欢呼起来，我走到“陶子”身边，扶住她说：“决赛还要加油哦！”她狠狠瞪我一眼：“我都累得脚都发软了！”然后，我们两个人开怀大笑起来，旁边的女生也笑了起来。

我参加的跳高预赛马上就要开始了，我连忙换上钉鞋，准备比赛。刚开始，站在起跑线上的我脑子一片空白，把老师的话忘到十万八千里之后去了。结果，十分可惜，我只拿了第二名，没有进入决赛。接力和跳远的成绩都更别说了。

运动会结束后，我回到家里，呆呆地望着屋顶，总觉得心里少了些什么。不是没有拿奖的遗憾，也不是结束后的轻松，而在田径队训练时一心想着偷懒，身体上的苦，比其他田径队的朋友的苦少得多，那时我可是在心里沾沾自喜。一想到今后不能和朋友们一边跑步一边谈笑；不能硬着头皮听老师的训斥；不能再追着体训队的男队员大喊着要揍人。我开始后悔当初为什么要逃跑、躲避训练。如果我早看到，看清这一点，就会早点醒悟了吧。

只有努力了才会有收获，机会是不停留的。不要等逝去才后悔当时的一切。——正是因为这许许多多的第一次，才让我们明白人生的道理。

My name is Simon. Im 24 years old now. Im from Changsha University. I

major in English, because I have the gift for language study.

In my opinion, English is well-known all around the world. If I can speak

excellent English, I could travel to everywhere in the world without language

barriers. Now I can speak English like an American. Most of my classmates always

envy my oral English.

I like traveling very much. Through traveling, I can widen my perspective

我不是幽谷里的一棵蒲公英，悄然开放，孤芳自赏，寂寞凋零。

到了我们这一代，家族里已经没有一个人知道我们的祖先是何时来到这个山谷的。

我是一棵蒲公英，跟山谷里同族一样：拼命地向枯涸土地里扎根，去吮吸丝丝的水分;拼命地向上抬头，去感受山谷中那转瞬即逝的阳光。

夏去秋又来，光阴刻下了我成长的足迹。不能否认我是山谷中最大最高的一棵：我底下头就能看到山谷中所有的同类;我摇一摇腰枝，整个山谷的同类都会听到瑟瑟的声响。没有同类敢接近我，因为在我身边，它们得不到一点水分更得不到阳光。适者生存，这就是这个山谷中的法则。

端午节最不可少的，自然是粽子，每年端午节外婆和大家都会包上几百个大粽子呢!包粽子虽然有很多种，比如芦苇叶、竹笋叶、菰叶、藕叶等。但我们的家乡是芦苇比较多，所以大多都用芦苇叶包了。首先，外婆“率兵”去采芦苇叶。采芦苇叶时，一大家子听着外婆的劳动号子：“加油!一个粽子三片叶子!上百个粽子几千片，嘿哟，加油!”听了“将军”的鼓劲，“小兵”们更加卖力了!采完芦苇叶，现在只要将它们暴晒就行了。但准备材料可没有这么简单哟，还得去集市上买来上好的红豆、猪肉、花生、板粟、蜜枣与糯米，还要买红线呢!

当然，最好玩的时候还是包粽子的时候。包粽子时，男人负责把肉切成不大不小的块儿;女人负责洗红豆、糯米之类的;小孩负责把大盆洗干净，再把大人加工好的东西装在大盆里;而老人们则负责指挥。一切准备好之后，就开始包粽子了。大人们干得格外卖力，而小孩们呢?却在一旁玩着，总是在大人们不注意时，偷一两颗蜜枣往嘴里塞，表面上似乎一点儿事都没做，可心里却暗暗自喜——因为蜜枣太好吃了!

最后一步就是煮粽子，烧火的外公总是把火候把握的很好，味道很香、很浓，如果在第一时间内吃粽子，你看到的肉粽子总是嫩地流油，看到的蜜枣粽子总是金黄柔嫩;看到的八宝粽子总是很可口，我们可爱吃了。

去年，要不是为了去盐城替舅舅、舅妈照顾表哥，外公外婆可能在包粽子哩。我突然有些“厌恶”舅舅、舅妈，他们家的经济条件不错，为什么不找个保姆?把我的欢乐端午节和粽子都“夺走了”，我好生气呀!也好怀念那味香色美的粽子呀!

今天我家来了个害羞的“小姑娘”，已经4个月大了，是爸爸从乡下接过来的狗狗。也许是因为自己被狗咬过的原因吧!特别喜欢狗，呵呵……很奇怪吧!我就是喜欢和“敌人”交朋友，我要让它知道，除了自己的主人其他的人也不是那么可怕的!

我微笑着想去搂搂它的脖子，以表示我很喜欢它，可是当我走近时，它却流露出害怕的神情，往后退了退。没关系失败对我来说并没有什么可怕的，一招不行，另出一招!我哼哼我不大不小还算正常的鼻子，心里想：“就不信我搞不定你!”我回家拿了一个鸡腿，想去引诱它，我放在手里呼唤着“狗狗”，它看了看，好像有点动摇了，可还是心有余悸，它往前走一步，又退两步，我向后退两步，它向前走两步，不知道的人还以为我在和狗狗跳巴黎舞呢!没办法我只好把鸡腿放在地上，再等着鱼儿自动上钩了，(*^__^*)嘻嘻功夫不费有心人，它也做了个大胆的决定，上前来吃那个鸡腿，我刚要摸到它的时候，它含着鸡腿就跑了，真是只狡猾的狐狸啊!

有了前两次的经验，我不再贸然出击，只能等待时机自动上门来。它好像以为我是个什么怪物一样，眼睛眨也不眨的惊恐的看着我，看着它那滑稽的表情，不得不让想象力丰富的我想起猪八戒上高老庄那会儿，就是八戒哥哥想娶的媳妇看他的表情一样，不差毫分哪!我不留情面的哈哈大笑起来，它那个跑得呀，比兔子还快，我赶紧闭了嘴，想不到我是如此的有魄力啊!我穷追不舍啊，可在它后面我简直和乌龟没什么区别。好家伙，才一会功夫它就向我跑来，我那个高兴的呀，突然间又自信了许多呢!可是只见它后面有两只狗再追它，追上后就开始厮打，原来这个“小姑娘”和我一样，都很内向啊，任人宰割的表情实在让我心疼，于是我吓走了那两只狗，我友好的弯下腰摸了摸它的头，它不再那么怯我，回家后，我带它洗了澡，吹了电吹风，它终于肯舔我了，尾巴呼扇呼扇的，我知道它已经把我当朋友了，我所付出的努力还是值得的!

我也从中悟出了一个道理，那就是：只要自己真正真正的付出，不求回报的付出，那么一定会有收获的!

现在的它整天和我形影不离，说实话自己确实感到有一点点的成就感，我相信不管和人交朋友也好，和动物交朋友也罢，只要付出的是自己的真心和诚意，那么快乐一定会来到的!我想生活、交际，都离不开一路的挫折，也许挫折是我们这一生中最大的敌人，但我们绝不能退缩，要敢于和敌人交朋友，不要惧怕它，用你的热血去融化它，我相信总有一天它会被你所征服，被你所感动!

一大清早，我们便到了学校，在学校里，同学们有的出黑板报、画画;有的做贺卡、开主题班会;还有的通过日记、诗歌等形式纷纷表达对祖国妈妈的爱。国庆长假，同学们跟爸爸妈妈一起走出家门，游览名胜古迹，领略祖国的伟大文化。商店的门口悬挂着气球和彩旗，有红的、有黄的、有绿的……洋溢着喜庆的气氛。里面人声鼎沸，原来都在打折、开展系列促销活动。街上人山人海，就连坐车买票也要排着长长的队伍，打的也要等好长时间。风景区的游人有如长龙，不计其数，男女老少尽在其中，人们都趁着节日出来游玩。停车场几乎没有空位子，饭店，宾馆的收入一定十分可观。

远方北京的叔叔打来电_话告诉我们，北京国庆热闹非凡。我很想去北京，看看天安门，看看我们伟大首都的面貌，我和叔叔已经约好明年暑假一起同畅游北京。

国庆节是一个快乐的节日，人民的生活水平真的提高得很快。我们在祖国妈妈的怀抱中，幸福、快乐地成长，愿祖国妈妈永远美丽、永远繁荣，愿祖国一年比一年兴旺、发达!

是谁，在祖国受到践踏和侵犯的时候，挺身而出?是谁，在敌人面前表现得那样不屈不挠?是谁，用自己的鲜血和生命拯救了水深火热的祖国?……是平凡的战士们，是无畏的英雄们!他们虽然已经离我们而去，但他们却永远活在我们每个人的心中。 who is trampled and violated when the motherland is trampled and violated? 我心目中的英雄是为了祖国抛头颅，洒热血的:像刘胡兰，她因被石五则出卖，而被敌军所捕，但任凭敌人使用什么时候招数，如威胁、哄骗以及毒打和恐吓，她仍然坚定而有力地从嘴里吐出三个字:“不知道!”，最后她从容地躺在铡刀上，就这样，15岁的她壮烈牺牲了。

还有江姐，她因被叛徒出卖，而被押进监狱，她面对敌人的酷刑，始终未吐露一丝情报，最终同其他二十名难友一道牺牲了。多么视死如归的英雄呀!……我心目中的英雄是舍已为国的:像董存瑞，他在一次解放隆化的战斗中，因解放军被敌军的暗堡所阻，想炸掉暗堡，但却找不到火药架。

他为了保证整个战斗的胜利，毅然身托炸药包，炸毁了敌军的暗堡，英勇地献出了自己年轻而宝贵的生命，为解放军们开辟了一条大路，拿下了隆化，为解放事业作出了莫大的贡献。为此，朱德元帅曾为他题词:“舍身为国，永垂不朽!”。

再说黄继光，在那千钧一发之际，毫不畏惧地用自己那宽大的胸膛堵住了敌人那喷身着火舌的火力点……我心目中的英雄是乐于助人的:像雷锋，他的大名可是家喻户晓的，民间流传着一句话:“雷锋出差一千里，好事做了一火车。”是呀，他到了哪里，好事就做到哪里，心中只有他人，唯独没有自己。

他在自己的日记中曾这样写:“如果你是一滴水，你是否滋润了一寸土地?如果你是一线阳光，你是否照亮了一分黑暗?如果你是一颗粮食，你是否哺育了有用的生命?如果你……你既然活着，你是否为未来的人类生活付出你的劳动，使世界变得更美丽?

我想问你，为未来带来了什么?在生活的仓库里，我们不应该只是个无穷无尽的支付者……在生活中，还有许多普通的人，在自己平凡的工作岗位上默默奉献着:感动一座地市的孟祥斌，奋力抢修的电力工人，奋抗风雪的战士们……

他们也是我心目中的英雄，和平时代的英雄!他们都在为社会，为人民默默无闻地奉献着……今天是清明节，我要向他们每个人都献上一束鲜花，因为他们都是我心目中的英雄!他们的名字将深深地刻在我的脑海中，他们的品质将永远在我们每个人的心中闪烁……

I am working on a new project which is called A Survey of New Industry in the Maywood District. According to the design of our district, we need information about firms that have recently moved into this area. Your firm is one of the largest of these, so I shall be very grateful if you can spare the time to help me.

Three points are specially important to the project. The first one is the training schemes for school leavers. The second one is about the transport arrangements to overcome poor road and rail links in this district. The third is the plans for expansion.

Any other information will be useful, but those points are the ones with which I most need your help.

我的小狗叫Ak，Ak是我阿姨送给我的，它是我阿姨从宠物店领养过来的，听我阿姨说它是被以前主人放弃了，后来被好心的宠物店主收养，不过听说它的主人也是有苦衷的。之所以叫Ak，是因为它以前的主人把它放在纸盒里，上面写着Ak。

AK有着水灵灵的大眼睛，一身洁白如雪的大衣和那十分突出的“黑色皮鞋”，并且在Ak的脸部还有粉红的绒毛，怎么洗也洗不掉，真搞不懂。

Ak它十分粘人，我到哪它就跟到哪，它顶喜欢趴我在身上睡觉，就算我要去上学，它也依依不舍。

Ak也有高傲的一面，Ak对食物的要求很高。而且身为狗的Ak，竟然还不喜欢吃狗粮。如果要这个狗老爷吃狗粮，那也得在它非常饥饿的时候。就算吃口粮，它也非常挑剔，必须有人服侍。我在一旁服侍，它才漫不经心地吃狗粮。说起狗老爷不喜欢吃狗粮，那它喜欢吃什么?那必属榴莲。每次经过水果店，它总会盯着榴莲不放，买给它吃，又吃得满嘴都是，可我还是不忍心责骂。

We have Chinese, maths, English, science, music, art and PE lessons every day. Our English teacher is Mr Zhang. He speaks English well. He is very kind to us. My classmates love him very much. We like to play football with him after class. We read English every morning. We say "Hello!" and "See you later!" to all the teachers in our school in English. I get up at six in the morning. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth. After a quick breakfast, I go to school in my mothers car. It takes us more than half an hour to get there.

We have four hour classes in the morning. I have luch at my grandparents, because their home is nearer to my school.

After two classes in the afternoon, school is over. Then we clean our classroom.

I get home at about half past five. We have dinner at seven. After dinner I do my homework. If I finish my homesork early, I can watch TV for half an hour. I go to bed at half past nine or ten.
