I went out to have dinner with father today. I should make toast during the

dinner but there was no juice availabe. So I had a bottle of beer. My face

turned red but I was not drunk. I dont think beer tastes bad but I wont like

have it too much because I am only a student.

Lanterns are everywhere. A most interesting tradition is the posting of riddles called Lantern Riddles. Riddles are written on pieces of paper and posted on lanterns or wall. Any one solving the riddle is awarded a prize. And the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan, i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup, my wife got a serious cold, so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her. Remember the day when I first came to the college. Being a boy of 17, I was longing for a new life as a college student; but, at the same time, I had no idea what college life would be like.

Today, when I awaked up, I found the air-conditioner didn’t work. I used the control, but it still didn’t work. I knew the air-conditioner was in trouble. I went downstairs. I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer. my mother is

my first teacher. I know how to type, how to copy a file, and how to visit a web

site on the internet. one day, mom was not at home.

I turned on the computer and began to learn how to chat on net. the first

one I met there was a boy called tom. he greeted me politely. when he knew that

I was only a 9-year-old girl, and almost knew nothing about chatting on net,he

started showing me how to use the chatting tools, how to download, and how to

send e-mails. I learnt a lot from him.

Reading is a good thing, but we must pay GREat attention to the choice of

books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad

books will do us more harm than good.
