And the remainingcolonists decided to celebrate with a feast ——including 91 Indians who had helped the Pilgrims survive their first year. Itis believed that the Pilgrims would not have made it through the year withoutthe help of the natives. The feast was more of a traditional English harvestfestival than a true “thanksgiving” observance. It lasted three days.

Itwasnt until June of 1676 that another Day of Thanksgiving was proclaimed.

大街上、小巷里不时传来阵阵炮竹声，为节日增添了喜气。我在外面与小朋友玩了一下午，肚子提出抗议要吃年夜饭，这时我才想起马上回家。在家门口，我和爸爸贴好对联，放了一挂鞭炮，丰盛的年夜饭就要开始喽！妈妈摆好一桌丰盛的晚宴，性急的我拿起筷子刚要夹，奶奶说：“等等，我们来猜一猜，看谁能用四个字说出菜名。”我抢先答道：“这个叫年年有余（鱼），那个是勤勤（芹）快快、红红火火、一帆风顺……”一下说出了好几个成语，奶奶满意的直夸我。碰杯祝福之后，我们开始品尝一道道美味。

春节的菜肴都有一句吉祥的成语，象征着一年的收获、祝福与期盼，真是太有趣了。我禁不住感叹我们国家传统文化的丰富多样。

今年的母亲节，又让我想起一位名人说的话：母亲是一本读不完的书。

母亲，像一堵墙，遮住了风雨，挡住了烈日，好让我们这些不经风雨的小树苗能茁壮成长；母亲，像慈祥的鸟妈妈，每天都用充满爱的手抚摸着我们的羽毛，鼓励我们走向万里长空。

啊！母亲无私地把爱献给了我们，我们才能茁壮成长。我要感恩我的母亲，为她做点事，哪怕只是洗脚，擦擦桌椅，我相信，这些微不足道的举动，一定能抚慰母亲那颗疲惫的心。

我很任性，自己的东西不经过我的同意不能给别人，或被别人拿走。一天，我放学回家，写完作业，吃完饭后。表姐家的孩子——童童来我家玩了。妈妈拿我小时候的玩具——小拉车给他玩。当时，我非常生气，因为妈妈没有经过我的同意就拿我的东西。妈妈好像看出了我的心思。童童走后，妈妈告诉我，对待别人要学会宽容、学会分享。

今天是感恩节，我和爸爸妈妈一起过了一个既神秘，又幽默，还很难忘的感恩节……

今天吃晚餐时，妈妈做了香喷喷的炒米饭，可是今天的炒米饭没放火腿肠，有一点没味道，我抱怨到：“今天的炒米饭竟然没有味道!!”妈妈说：“今天是感恩节，应该感恩可以吃得饱饱的才对，你却在这里抱怨米饭没有味道。”我听后，连忙把脸埋到米饭里，认真的说：“感恩米饭让我吃饱!”妈妈听了，哈哈大笑，爸爸却还认真的吃着米饭。

晚上做完作业，时间还很早，我决定给爸爸妈妈过一个秘密感恩节。我拿出我装奖品的袋子，把奖品拿出来，然后把我回家画的画装进去，再在我的秘密百宝箱里拿出了幸运星、小花印章和一个青花瓷小珠子。幸运星在灯光的照耀下闪闪发光，青花瓷小珠子是大舅舅送我的，上面有美丽的桃花图案，我还有一个哩!小花印章是我以前最喜欢的印章。本来还想给妈妈送一块我和哥哥一起找到的像玉石一样的石头，但是后来一想，觉得不合适，就把它从袋子里拿出来了，放进了百宝箱，接着我剪了两个爱心，上面画了两个气球，然后，把它们一起放到爸爸妈妈的房间里，再剪了一些箭头，从大厅摆到爸爸妈妈的房间，爸爸妈妈看见了，立刻来寻宝，当他们看见我写的“笑”时，笑了起来，我立即给他们照了一张难忘的、模糊的纪念照……

我相信，这个难忘的感恩节，肯定会被照片和日记记录下来……
