今天，随着医疗的发展，人们能够延缓衰老。对于名人来讲，他们使用高科技来保持年轻，看到他们常年在屏幕上保持不变的容颜，观众也想要模仿名人，他们相信通过使用高科技就能一直保持年轻。然而在我看来，保持年轻的方法就是拥有一颗年轻的心，一些人表面看起来年轻，但是在他们的心里，他们足够的老，并且拒绝去与时俱进。对于另外一些人来讲，虽然他们有皱纹，但是他们对一切都保持好奇，并且愿意去改变。我的爷爷年纪大，但是他对一切时尚的东西都了如指掌，有时候我不得不问他关于新的事物。年轻的心是永葆青春的方法。

昨天放学的时候，老师给我们布置了一道特殊的作业。内容是：昨天是感恩节，回去后，要给爸爸妈妈说辛苦了,并且给他们一个拥抱。

妈妈因为忙工作，很晚才去爷爷家里接我。妈妈来接我的时候，我在车里告诉妈妈说:妈妈，今天是感恩节，妈妈我爱你！妈妈听完后，直接在车里给了我一个大大的拥抱。看着妈妈开心的样子，我也非常高兴。

上完围棋课，看到来接我的爸爸，我给了爸爸一个大大的拥抱，并且祝他感恩节快乐！同时还让爸爸也给爷爷打个电话，给爷爷、奶奶祝福一下。爸爸听后，一个劲儿的夸我长大了。我心里也非常开心！

到了晚上睡觉的时候，妈妈在床上还给我讲了一个关于感恩节来历的故事。讲的是102位英国清教徒，为了感谢印第安人的帮助，所以将帮助他们的那一天，定为感恩节，后来在1941年正式将11月的第4个星期四定为法定假日感恩节。

真是太高兴了，昨天晚上真是开心极了！不仅让爸爸、妈妈觉的我长大了，而且还知道了一个节日的来历！

“唉，作业终于写完了，好累。”正在收拾书包的我长长的叹了一口气，准备回家。一旁的李老师笑着看着我，说：“回去的路上慢一点。”

正准备走，我突然想起来今天是感恩节，不自觉的脱口而出：“老师，今天是感恩节。”本是一句无心的话，老师却回头问我：“嗯，今天是感恩节，你有没有为妈妈做什么？”我想了想，说：“中午吃饭的时候，我给妈妈和弟弟拿碗筷盛饭了。”老师听了满意的点点头，又说：“那你晚上回去之后还要多为妈妈做一些。你爸爸在外地上班，家里都是你妈妈一个人操持，很辛苦。可以为她捶捶背，睡觉前为她泡杯奶粉。感恩，不仅要表达出来，也要行动。父母爱我们，我们也要做一些力所能及的小事，去分担他们的辛苦。这就是感恩节的意义。”

听了老师的话，我觉得很对，谢谢老师之后我便回去了。晚上我为妈妈夹菜，为劳累的她捶背，并且和她说说自己的学习和生活，她不住地笑，十分的开心。呀！我忘记感谢刘老师了，为了我的学习她可操了不少心。于是我赶紧拿来妈妈的手机，发了一条短信：刘老师，谢谢您，是您教会了我很多知识，教会我怎么做人。祝您节日快乐。很快老师的短信就发过来了，她说：“嗯，你现在越来越懂事了，老师收到你的祝福了，谢谢。”

我们要有一颗感恩的心，感谢父母赐予我们宝贵的生命，无微不至的照顾我们；感谢辛勤的老师教我们知识，滋润我们的精神世界；感谢这美丽的世界，让我们生活的幸福快乐。

Nothing is difficult if you put your heart into it. Nothing is easy if you

don’t try your best.

We often hear people say, “Never give up.” A person who believes in these

words will keep trying to pursue his goal no matter how many times he fails. In

my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have.

Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.

One reason is that if we give up easily, we will achieve nothing. It is not

unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not

feel discouraged. Besides, if we always give up when fail happens, we will can

not develop new skills. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to

reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed

in other areas of our lives.

Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. Born into

poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight

elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown. He could

have quit many times - but he didnt and because he didnt quit, he became one

of the greatest presidents in the history of America.

Lincoln was a champion For the reason that ---he ,never gave up.

In short, no matter you succeed or not, you can learn something, no matter

what we learn will help us to become more confident. If we give up, we have no

chance to make our dreams come true, if we keep trying, there is always a

chance, that we will succeed one day. Thank you very much!

也许最伟大的坚持就是亚伯拉罕·林肯。林肯出身贫寒，一生都面临失败。他在8次选举中失败，两次失败，并经历了精神崩溃。他本可以放弃很多次，但他没有，因为他没有放弃，他成为了美国历史上最伟大的总统之一。

林肯是一个冠军，因为他从不放弃。

总之，无论你成功与否，你都可以学到一些东西，无论我们学到什么都会帮助我们变得更加自信。如果我们放弃，我们就没有机会实现我们的梦想，如果我们继续努力，总有机会，我们终有一天会成功。非常感谢!
