众所周知，书籍教会我们学习生活、真理、科学和许多其他有用的东西。它们增加了我们的知识，开阔了我们的思想，增强了我们的品格。换句话说，它们是我们的良师益友。这就是为什么我们的父母总是鼓励我们多读书。

读书是一件好事，但我们在选书上一定要十分注意，好书的确能给我们带来好处，但坏书弊大于利。

We are supposed to express our gratitude to others on Thanksgiving Day. However, we should feel gratitude every day.

God has two dwellings, one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart. Be grateful to others is a way to show your love. In our daily life, we often receive help from our parents, friends, colleagues and strangers. Perhaps it is a little thing, pick up the pen you drop, lift a heavy box for you or offer you a seat in the bus. We should be thankful to them for whatever they have done. The more love you give, the more love you receive.

A sense of gratitude can acknowledging our interdependent existence. You will be ready to help others if you have a thankful heart. Therefore, a thankful heart is like a magnet. Not only will we attract more things to be grateful for, but also we will attract gratitude from others. “give thanks a little and you will find a lot.”

Gratitude is heaven itself. A sense of gratitude and indebtedness to others is and important wellspring of a generous and virtuous life. We now fall into a busy life, neglecting to be grateful for details, the beauty of nature, the comforts of modern living ,the love of parents and so on. People can notice these details and realize the friendship, love and happiness in our life with a grateful heart.

Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul. Be thankful for whatever you have, give and receive. Happy Thanksgiving today and every day!

我们应该向别人表达我们的感激之情在感恩节。然而,我们应该感到感激每一天。

the thankful parents give us the life, make us feel the merriment of the human life, feel the genuine feeling of the human life, feel the comity of the human life, feel happiness of the human life, also feel hardships and pain and sufferings of the human life!

the thankful teacher works with diligence and without fatigue everyday of teach, give us knowledge ability, put on the wing which flies toward the ideal for us.

今天是“感恩节”，一个美国人的节日。

我是不过感恩节的，但是我想借助“感恩”这两个字说说我的内心感受。

长到这么大，我一直生活在骄傲之中，而这首先要感谢我的父亲。小时候的许多事我早已忘记，但是父亲的一句话，我却永远铭记在心。一次，父亲带我去洗澡，别人问起我，我的父亲和他说，我的儿子是最聪明的。就是这样的一句话，让我知道，无论做什么，我都要努力去做。或许我不是聪明的人，但是我却绝对不能辜负父亲对我的期望，或说高看。

谢谢您，我亲爱的爸爸。我要感谢原来西岗区教育局的王丽萍科长，一个我原本很陌生的人。王科长，是您在我不认识您之时，你看到了我，给了我发展的机会，虽然因为总总原因，您的愿望没有达成，但我依然要感谢您。感谢您的知遇之恩。对这一切，您从不说起，却是我从他人口中得知，你的恩德我永生不忘。

谢谢您王科长，请允许我偷偷地叫您一声：“谢谢您，王妈妈。”

我要感谢原西岗区教师进修学校的丁延黎校长，感谢您来到我原来单位调研时，对我的欣赏，对我的关注，对我的期许。一样的，我不曾给过您什么，但您给予我的却很多。一样的，我不会在您在位时去看您，我不想让人说的我想从您那得到什么。等你退休，我一定会时常去看您，这是我早有的对自己的承诺。

我要感谢原西岗区教师进修学校的李艳丽老师，虽然您现在在市教育学院工作，我们少了很多的见面机会，但我怎能忘记您曾经给予我的那么多的机会，给予我那么多的帮助，你的付出，我真地无以回报，现在的我可能要让您失望了，真的很遗憾。但是每每看到蕴丰与我的亲热劲，我的内心真的很开心。

我要感谢西岗区大同小学的李雪梅校长，谢谢您，我的师姐，工作了这么多年，您对我的关心，对我的体贴，让我在工作中少了很多心里的负担，减少了很多的负担。

谢谢您，李校长。我要感谢我的好朋友田雪鹏，一个好哥们，您总是在我心里最难过的时候，让我得到解脱，你默默地听着我述说，给我指点，却从不包办代替。我说着我的心事时，总是那么放松，因为任何话，到你的心里，就再也不出去。

谢谢你，我的好哥们。我要感谢，我曾经的孩子们，每次你们来看我时，一种为人师者的自豪感，让我有勇气去面对一切，让我们可以延续着我的教育梦。

谢谢你们，我的孩子们。我要感谢我的家长们，感谢我曾经的同事，我的所有朋友们。

我要感谢的人很多很多，但是我现在要感谢我的家人，尤其是我亲爱的妻子，在生活起居的各个方面，你都给予我无微不至的关心和照顾，让我解除了工作的后顾之忧，让家成为我永远的港湾。夫妻之间，我还是不说那么多了，你为我，为孩子，为这个家所做的一切，用几句话怎能说清，怎能说完呀。

谢谢你，我亲爱的妻子。谢谢所有人，所有对我好的人，谢谢所有的好人们，谢谢你们。

A poet leads me to a branch road: on one side, there are lots of sweet

apples, lovely and charming; on the other, there is a patch of thorn, what hides

behind the success of struggling against the thorn is a splendid palace. I

deeply know that if I choose the apples, I will give up a precious opportunity

of becoming a queen; While if I choose to challenge, I have to say farewell to

the apples. Which one should I choose?

Just like the branch road, we have to make a lot of choices during our

lifetime. It is usually considered that we are choosing what to gain, to own,

but in my opinion, we are just choosing to give up.

Choosing to be a teacher means giving up the life as rich as a business

man;

Choosing to be a top student means giving up much leisure time in front of

the TV.

Sure, it’s a torture, but we must judge carefully what is more important,

then give up the others. Don’t think of them any more, just focus all your

spirit on what you are doing.

I myself, who is standing here, have already chosen to challenge in such a

great competition, so I have to give up ten days of normal classes in school and

relaxation without pressure. But I am still pleased, because giving up properly

makes me stick to my choice.

Let’s return to our branch road, which one will your choose? I choose to

challenge here!

一位诗人把我引到一个岔路口：一边是甘甜的苹果，鲜艳而诱人;另一边是一条荆棘之路，但隐藏在与荆棘搏斗的成功之后是一座富丽的宫殿。我深深地明白：如果我选择那些苹果，我将失去一个可能成为女王的良机，与此同时，如果我选择挑战那些荆棘，那会很艰辛，而且我又必须与可爱的苹果告别，我该选择哪一个呢?

正如这个岔路口一般，生活中的我们面临多种选择。人们通常认为，我们在选择去获得什么，拥有什么，但在我看来，我们在选择放弃什么。

选择作一名老师意味着放弃了像商人一样奢华富有的生活。

选择作一名顶尖学生意味着放弃了许多在电视机前的闲暇时间。

当然，放弃的选择是一种苦难，但我们必须用心审度，什么对自己来说更为重要，做出选择，然后放弃其他，不要再回首想那些已放弃的东西，把精力集中于你正在做的事。

站在这里的我，已选择了在这样大规模的比赛中挑战自我，所以我必须放弃十天的正常功课和没有压力的轻松感。但我依然高兴，因为适宜的放弃弃之后，我更加专注于自己的选择。

让我们回到那个岔路口吧，你会选择哪一个呢?我，选择挑战此地!
