Thanksgiving Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It is

the most truly American of the national Holidays in the United States. It is a

男孩忙说：“不，不，是一个朋友托我送的，祝你们快乐!”说完他把一张字条交给了这位妇女。字条上写着：“我是你们的一位朋友，愿你们能过个快乐的节日，也希望你们知道有人在默默地爱着你们。今后如果你们有能力，请同样把这样的礼物送给其他需要帮助的人。”

这个年轻人怀着一个美好的心愿生活着、奋斗着，终于成为影响了许多美国人心灵的大师。他的名字叫罗宾。

感恩是爱的根源，也是快乐的源泉。如果我们对生命中所拥有的一切都心存感激，便能体会到人生的快乐，人间的温暖以及人生的价值。

每个人在生活中，多多少少都得到过别人的帮助，接受过他人的恩惠，可我们是不是都用心记住了这些，并因此多了一份感恩之心呢?其实，如果我们能怀着感恩之心面对生活，那么即使处在最困厄的环境里，我们也能看到生命的绿洲，从而怀着更多的希望面对未来。感恩之心还是一颗美好的种子，假如我们不光懂得收藏，还懂得适时播种，那么我们就能给他人带来爱和希望，并因此挽救他们，或是改变他们内心世界。

在生活中，你有每一经常说“谢谢”?能够经常说“谢谢”的人一定是一个懂得感恩的人。对于陌生人的善意帮助，对于爸爸妈妈的无私爱心，对于大自然赐予我们的阳光雨露我们都要怀着感恩的心说一声：“谢谢”。

一声“谢谢”，是连接人与人之间感情湖泊的彩虹，是架起人与人之间心灵岛屿上的桥梁。

有这样的一个故事：两个人同时去见上帝，问上天堂的路怎么走?上帝见两人饥饿难忍，就先给他们每人一份食物。一人接过食物，很是感激，连声说：“谢谢，谢谢!”另一人接过食物，无动于衷，仿佛就该给他似得。之后，上帝只让那个说“谢谢”的人上了天堂，另一个则被拒之门外。

被拒之门外者不服：“我不就是忘说了句‘谢谢’吗?“上帝说：“不是忘了。没有感恩的心，就说不出谢谢的话：不知感恩的人，就不知爱别人且也得不到别人的爱。”那人还是不服：“那少说一句‘谢谢’，差别也不能那么大呀?”上帝又说：“这没有办法。因为天堂的路是用感恩的心铺成的。上天堂的门只有用感恩的心才能打开，而下地狱则不用。”

人间需要“谢谢”;天堂也需要“谢谢”;贫穷时需要“谢谢”，富裕后也需要“谢谢”;陌生人需要“谢谢”;朋友间也需要“谢谢”;困境中需要“谢谢”;幸福里也需要“谢谢”;凡人需要“谢谢”;上帝也需要“谢谢”……土地失去水分便成了沙漠，世间弱没有了“谢谢”，连沙漠也不如，比沙漠更可怕。

“谢谢”是人生天平上的一块砝码，它能准确地测出你道德的高与低，文明的大与小，生命的重与轻。因为不懂得“谢谢”的人，就不懂得人生，不懂得生活，不懂得爱，不懂得做人。

母亲的爱最伟大，谁也代替不了，来看看我母亲是一个怎样的人吧！

我有一个“狠心”的母亲，一年级的时候她让我开始学游泳。因为那时我还比较小，不敢把头钻进水里，所以我学了半个月还只能站在水池边沿。母亲再也忍不住了，就把我往水里一仍，我快速地沉下去，鼻子里吸了很多水，我在水里挣扎着，最后还是教练救了我，从那以后，我慢慢地学会了游泳。现在我就像似一条雨儿在水中自由自在地穿梭着。是“狠心”的妈妈让我知道了，无论做什么事都要敢于尝试。

我有一个鼓励我的母亲，一些题目其实她是懂的，但她却装做不懂的样子，让我来解答。有些时候我和母亲比赛，几乎每次比赛都是我赢，母亲这样做，都是为了给我更多的自信。

记得那一次，妈妈得了重感冒，放学后，我在屋里写作业，妈妈在房间休息，那时的我，十分不懂事，一有不会的题，就大声喊：“妈妈，来一下，我有题不会了！”妈妈为了能让我考出好成绩，就忍着病痛，来给我讲题，知道我将难题全部做完。在这之后，我才知道妈妈那是生病。我多想为妈妈送上一杯热茶，为她缓解病痛。

Thanksgiving is a time for tradition and sharing. Even if they live far away, family members gather for a reunion at the house of an older relative. All give thanks together for the good things that they have.

In this spirit of sharing, civic groups and charitable organizations offer a traditional meal to those in need, particularly the homeless. On most tables throughout the United States, foods eaten at the first thanksgiving have become traditional.

What should we thank?

The thankful great universe provides the environment of existence for us and give us sunlight, air, water and everything in keeping with we existence of space, bring storm to let us accept to toughen for us, bring to us mysterious let us look for.

The thankful parents give us the life, make us feel the merriment of the human life, feel the genuine feeling of the human life, feel the comity of the human life, feel happiness of the human life, also feel hardships and pain and sufferings of the human life!

The thankful teacher works with diligence and without fatigue everyday of teach, give us knowledge ability, put on the wing which flies toward the ideal for us.
