This book was great, a masterpiece for the lack of words to describe how entirely wonderful it is. The book was a great classic, the only reason that I did read it is because we have to read a classic for school, however, now that I have read it I realize that it was a great book. I would read this book two or three times, and I do not like reading books again. The book was really able to portray the idea of childhood innocence and foolishness in the book, especially the end. I thought that this book was really an eye opener for people who may think that life is not worth living or maybe derpessed. Because, as you can see, Huck was a young boy who had an alcoholic father who beat him all the time, even kidnapped him after he was adopted by other people. Huck even decided to run away from his father, yet he is still a young, fun loving kid in the end, especially when Tom reveals to him how the whole trip was just a game. The only thing I have to say against the book is that it did seem a little racist with its words, however maybe this is just how they talked in that time period? Overall a great read that I highly reccomend.

从生活安逸的海外留学生活到归国在上海点金银行谋事，再到赶赴内地三闾大学，然后辗转到上海，最后又离开去了重庆。是是非非，尔虞我诈，勾心斗角的角逐，以及生活的琐碎，终于使方鸿渐不堪忍受压抑，不断渴望冲出“围城”，却又不得不进入另一个“围城”。每每读到方鸿渐，都不免“哀其不幸，怒其不争”：制造假学历蒙骗丈人和家人，被登报颜面尽失;又因为电话的误会;戏剧般地错过了与唐晓芙的姻缘;还有湘西道上的艰难险阻;三闾大学里遭遇不见天日的阴暗的政治斗争，你奸我诈中惨遭倾轧;玩笑下与孙柔嘉结婚却又整日家里鸡飞狗跳。“围城”里的人，在各种无休止的纠葛下的可怜、窘迫、痛苦、尴尬都被血淋淋的拉扯，在世人眼下暴晒。

还有多少鸿渐苟且在“围城”，他们蜷缩于社会的罅隙里喜怒哀乐，因为怯懦被时代的荒流淹没，比起社会人人明争暗斗的乌烟瘴气，他们是那么的软弱无力，而他们的善良在温暖人心的一瞬又何曾不是一种揪人心肺的痛。

在这乌烟瘴气中，刀关剑影，杀戮和生存并存，竞争和淘汰轮番上演，情场、官场、名利场，看这个污浊的社会如何蚕食人们的灵魂和道德，吞没人们的操守和伦理。腥风血雨中弥漫着浓重的腐烂气息，令人作呕。看那一个个迷失了自我的人，都沦为社会的诅咒，他们丢失了青春，丢失了年华，丢失了真情实感，丢失了最初的纯真善良。这个时代不需要他们曾经有过的友谊、爱情，这个时代牢牢困住了他们的思想，阴暗的旧社会符咒正在耗尽他们的生命，逐渐地一部分人麻木了，适应了，屈服了，不再想突破这似乎无坚不摧的“围城”——又是一个个奴隶。可是，那些还有生气还有精力的青年，他们的路真的早已被荆棘披覆，拦腰折断了吗?未来的路又在哪里?也许这一切，只有那只祖传的老钟知道。

再来回顾书中的人物形象，钱钟书老先生强烈批判了民族劣根性。记忆最深的非属那帮三闾大学的伪君子假学士不可。韩学愈，造假学位，龌蹉肮脏，挑拨离间鸿渐和刘东方，即使在鸿渐这种造假“同行”面前，仍然大肆炫耀自己的克莱登大学的假学位，声情并茂。李梅亭，表里不一，自私猥琐，在湘西路上留钱买烟叶和烤番薯独自享用，还被路上的女人迷魂心窍，张口闭口仁义道德，背地里尽是些不光彩的事迹，读后感《《围城》读后感2500字》。还有三闾大学校长高松年，禽兽不如，身为一校之长，肩负教育救国之使命，却沉迷酒色，一副老奸巨猾的嘴脸。痛哉!教育界尚且败类比比皆是，何况官场等等。

唯一一个算是完美的人物唐晓芙最后也不了了之，也无从得知后续，只能希望能坚守自我，不被社会玷污，甚至成为解救别人的新青年。

结尾的留白给人们充分的想象，因为有太多的遗憾与不甘，在此便后续一段：

方鸿渐一气之下出逃上海奔赴大后方重庆，临行前拍电报通知了赵辛楣，俩人，一拍即合，赵答应为他找份事干。鸿渐没有回家，而是去了王先生家。王先生怜惜鸿渐，决定与他一起前往重庆，他原先也是计划投奔他在那里的亲戚，当得知鸿渐没有钱时好心资助，算是回报鸿渐对自己的信任。鸿渐到了重庆顺利地在机场见着赵辛楣，同时还向老朋友介绍了王先生。得知了他们俩同时失业的境遇之后，赵辛楣好心挽留王先生一同谋事。在赵辛楣的帮助下，俩人很快找到了工作，成为了赵辛楣的同事。鸿渐待生活有了着落之后向爸爸发电报。爸爸回报表示很担心他，因为走之前没有通信，喜极而泣，“也好，也算是安定下来，为父也可放心矣”。

好景不长，上海传来了噩耗，遭到了日本的侵略。心急如焚的鸿渐立刻拍电报要家里人来重庆，还要求带柔嘉一起来。鸿渐家里人当即动身整理东西，同时也收到了鸿渐寄来的汇款，终于在日本完全占领前逃离出来。其实到了重庆之后，鸿渐就有点后悔当初对柔嘉的冒失，只是为了面子他想在重庆有了自己的事业在寻机言和，这几日更是想念的很，又急拍电报给柔嘉，希望她能和自己家人一起来，但是在机场鸿渐找不到柔嘉的人影，他的父亲只是给了他一封信。大意是在上海还有点事要处理，晚两天来重庆，署名：依然爱你如初的柔嘉。鸿渐心里明白，柔嘉不想一路上受家里人不接待，为了让自己不至于难堪，特意错开日期，心中不免一丝惋惜，却也无可奈何。

结果第二天上海完全沦陷的消息就传遍了全中国，柔嘉似乎从此也就从鸿渐的生命里彻底消失了。

悲痛中鸿渐回想起之前和柔嘉在一起的种种快乐，吵归吵，柔嘉还是自己的好妻子的，毕竟深爱着他。还没有等鸿渐从悲痛中恢复过来，上海方向又寄来了一封信，上海方向拍来一封电报，鸿渐原以为这是最后一丝希望，读后却顿时泪如泉涌。“我还记得你和我讲苏小姐、唐小姐的故事。我想，事已至此，也是天命注定，我或许来不了了。上海全城戒严，任何人没有特别签发的通令都不能出去，你看到的这份电报时不用太难过，也不用太担心我，如果我死了，就去找唐小姐吧，他是好姑娘，也算了结我最后的心愿。”

之后全国国统区与日本新占领的上海完全隔绝，陆续的，社会上逐渐流传起一种说法，日本兵烧杀抢夺，上海成为一座喋血孤城。鸿渐心想，柔嘉也免不了这命吧，他懦弱地替自己寻找理由安慰自己，是柔嘉自己要求延后两日的，也许是她跟着自己吃苦太多，早点去了也罢，总算是离开了这污浊的世界，完全逃离了这座“围城”。像鸿渐家里人一样，很多人连夜逃离了上海，其中有不少人拖儿带女的来到重庆。毕竟是中国的大后方，人们总希望能安全一点是一点，有亲戚的再好不过，没有亲戚的就沦为丧家犬，住最便宜的旅店，吃最便宜的面包，在来之前慌忙带上的一点钱用完之前还不至于每天排长队去政府难民署领救济粮。

因为人多难民署的人一下子忙不过来，鸿渐就被暂时调去帮忙，每天早上天微亮就开始分配排队的难民每人俩馒头和一碗稀粥。日子似乎有安定了下来，十天过去了，难民人数在成爆发式增长之后出现了稳定，一直排在鸿渐这一排的难民，鸿渐也基本都认识了，因为工作的缘故，看到这么多的难民鸿渐心里也有了宽慰，都是命，你我都逃不过。

这天，一对新的母子忽然出现在鸿渐面前，鸿渐出于同情，一边盛粥拿馒头一边与那位母亲聊起来。开始时鸿渐没有细看，当他把多给的第三个馒头塞给小男孩，孩子母亲唏嘘着让孩子谢谢叔叔时，鸿渐才看清了这女人的脸，“你……，你不是唐……”

同时方家的一些封建礼节折射出当时社会还存在很多封建落后的现象。当方鸿渐回到家中不久，方父母便提出反对结婚自由，要早早的为儿子找一个媳妇。可见那种包办婚姻的思想依然存在，真是令人恐惧，而且方鸿渐的两兄弟的两个儿子，一个叫阿丑，一个叫阿凶，说是为了避邪而取这种难听的名字，真是笑死人!

方鸿渐命运里的几个女人。首先要提的是苏文纨，一个出洋留过学，可谓是才貌双全的人，可是她只是一厢情愿而已，鸿渐没有为了一个上流人者而失去理智。其次是苏文纨表妹唐晓芙，或许方与唐结合后方的命运结局不会那样惨，但因种种原因两人各奔东西了。最后是他的妻子孙柔嘉。她是一个很平凡的女人，但两人情投意合，相处得很好。只是双方家庭的流言蜚语太多，两人终被这种精神压力搅得不得安宁。

《围城》中的爱情。爱情始终是这部小说的主题。以方鸿渐为代表的年轻人无论是家处上流社会的，不富裕的，才华横溢的，狂妄自大的不是满腹牢骚、无心劳作的都向往着美好的爱情而且都被爱情缠得死去活来。有的取得了成功，有的屡屡失败。有的结婚了又受不了婚后的无自由的生活，有的没结婚的又想早早进入婚姻生活。很多人都矛盾着、犹豫着、惆怅着。

有人说，要是在大学里有机会谈恋爱，就谈吧，而且要谈得烘烘烈烈!当你毕业后工作时，如果她和你谈了三年而没发现你有买车买房的迹象，你就完蛋了;如果你和她谈了三年而没有买车买房的迹象，你也完蛋了。所以，大学里的爱情才是最纯真的，最值得去追求的......

读《围城》，跟读一般的小说感觉很不一样。总觉得大师的作品吧，肯定是生硬晦涩，至少是我辈很难读懂的，要想读懂，也要摆上好几本字典在旁边，才能有读下去的勇气，《围城》不是这样，它通俗的可以，从身边琐事娓娓道来，总有那么一处是撞击到你尘世的灵魂。本来觉得 40年代的作品，是太公太爷辈的事了，想要找到一丝与现实相关的东西无异于到秦始皇的墓里挖计算机。谁知读的时候，它竟多次引起我的共鸣!很多的事情，就像是发生在身边;人物的心情，就像是从自己记忆中掏出来的东西，贴切的让人吃惊!仿佛去看心理病的人被人一下子戳中了心事一样，有几分不可思议，又有几分难堪，却还有几分爽快!抨击人生病态，笑骂人性弱点。在这个领域来说，鲁迅应该算的上是鼻祖级人物了。鲁迅是严肃的，狠狠的提出问题，像是尖锐的猫爪抓的你鲜血淋淋，钱钟书则不然，他漫不经心的提出问题，就像有只手在轻轻的挠你，他挠啊挠，你笑啊笑……最后终于发现了!

原来自己身上有只虱子!也可以这么说，鲁迅用的是锋利无比的匕首，一触见血，给人一种鲜血淋漓的感觉;钱钟书用的是尖锐的长针，乍看之下，对患部没什么用，但像针灸似地对准医疗部位刺下，刺得深，刺得透，一疼之后便觉舒畅无比，让人被刺得心服口服。一部好作品，就应该在某方面具有鲜明的特色，才能显示出作者的独特个性和品质。契诃夫的作品追求辛辣幽默，欧·亨利追求精巧的构思，《围城》所表现出来的是钱钟书的学者式的幽默讽刺。

你看《围城》中，谈话、吃饭、交友、恋爱、工作、家庭，全是生活中种种细节，极其普通的琐事，然而正是在这些琐事中，在这些微不足道的细节中，一个个活生生的生活场景，一个个活灵活现的人物，呈现在读者眼前，是那样生动，艳活和逼真。方鸿渐的虚伪，赵辛楣的坦白，褚慎明的爱面子，苏文纨的媚俗，唐晓芙的纯真，孙柔嘉的狡黠，都一跃纸上，让人又爱又恨。钱钟书善于用洞烛幽微，纤芥并肖的笔触刻画人物心理，其犀利精微的心理讽刺，使人物很具立体感。老处女范懿年华老去却乏人问津，一心想汪太太帮他做媒，却又装腔作势，故作矜持。一见到赵辛楣就原形毕露，“像画了个无形的圈子，把自己跟辛楣华围在里面，说话密切泼水不入”，回去的路上，她几次设法要把同行的方鸿渐、刘小姐支开，留下赵辛楣和她两个人走。

她一会儿说桥太窄，让赵辛楣拍她走河底;一会儿说忘了手提包，让赵辛楣陪她回去龋又有幽默，又有讽刺色彩，妙哉!第三章写几个知识分子的聚会就更加叫绝了。赵辛楣一心想灌醉方鸿渐以泄爱人被夺之恨，谁知苏文纨对方鸿渐的关怀更教他醋上心头，褚慎明和方鸿渐在席上互相鄙视，相互拆台，褚慎明看到方鸿渐酒醉后呕吐，故意嫌恶的捂着鼻子，心生一种幸灾乐祸和解脱的快感，“觉得自己泼出的牛奶，给方鸿渐的呕吐在同席者的记忆里冲掉了”，这种知识分子的丑陋灵魂，通过心理战昭然若揭，猛然外化的手法，显示出钱钟书讽刺幽默的高超、犀利。除此之外，书中大量精妙的比喻也运用的非常巧妙，为小说的幽默效果增色不少。例如苏文纨刚出场时，作者对她复杂的心情的描写：“那时苏小姐把自己的爱情看得太名贵了，不肯随便施与。现在呢，宛如做了好衣服，舍不得穿，锁在箱里，过一两年忽然发现这衣服的样子和花色都不时髦了，有些自怅自悔。”如写李梅亭的肖像：“李先生脸上少了那副黑眼睛，两只大白眼睛像剥掉壳的煮熟鸡蛋。”多么令人恶心。还有如“鸿渐饿得睡不熟，身子像没放文件的共事皮包，几乎腹背相贴。”是多么的形象。

再如写苏文纨和曹元朗的婚礼场面和二人的窘态：“曹元朗穿了黑呢礼服，忙得满头是汗…我只怕他整个胖身体全化在汗里，象洋蜡烛化成一滩油。苏小姐也紧张难看…新郎新娘脸哭不出笑不出的表情，全不像在干喜事，倒像——不，不像上断头台，是了，是了，像公共场所”谨防扒手“牌子下面那些积犯相惩的表情。”简直惟妙惟肖，其诙谐幽默的效果，真的令人忍俊不禁了! 特别是描写鲍小姐的形象，“有人叫她‘熟食铺子’，因为只有熟食店会把那许多颜色暖热的肉公开陈列;又有人叫她‘真理’，因为据说‘真理’是赤裸裸的。鲍小姐并未一丝不挂，所以他们修正为局部的真理。”看起来虽然你能把人的眼泪都笑出来，实际上是在批判鲍小姐留学出洋，一无所得，只学了一些淫荡的功夫回来。幽默的笑料背后隐藏着多么深刻的讽刺意味!所以看完钱钟书的《围城》是让你在哈哈大笑之后又陷入深深的沉思之中。

顺着思路追寻下去，你发现它看似爱情小说，实际是更多的是揭示了人性，怪不得有人说《围城》和《红楼梦》有异曲同工之妙呢!然也。

A Little princess is a touching novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnett—a famous novelist and dramatist. It obviously contains lots of fancied plots, but the parts it talks about creating miracles, can really reach the bottom of my heart. The book can bring me into a world that is more than reality while reading it. The extraordinary story makes me ponder a lot and gives me a deep impression that every girl can be a princess.

In my opinion, it is impossible for every rich girl to act like a well-behaved princess, but Sara, the heroine of the novel, did it! She was an imaginative little girl who had such intelligent small face and such perfect manners. Sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle, appreciative ways of saying, such as “If you please” “Thank you” which was very charming. So, not only her teachers and classmates liked her, but also her servants liked her. There was a time when Sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the snobbish headmaster of the school. In spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. Sara was confident, brave, optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life. No matter when, Sara acted like a princess, and on account of this, she had accomplished a GREat deal of miracles over and over again.

After reading this outstanding book, I was shocked by Sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tortures, but still had an opposite attitude towards life. What impresses me most is that Sara put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes, wading in the street of London. From my point of view, her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring.

Truly, every girl is a princess coming into common life. the “princess” I mean is not a princess living in the palace and being regarded as the apple of everyone’s eye. As the matter of fact, the “princess” is at heart. I am in the belief that every ordinary girl in the world can be a princess. The way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple. Just suppose! You can suppose yourself to be a princess, and go about your business confidently without caring how the others would treat you. If you want to have more resemblance to a princess, be more kind and try your best to help the people in need. The most important thing you are supposed to do is that to feel like a real princess at any occasion, particularly when you are involved with enormous melancholy. Do not feel the conditions you faced are extremely wretched and attempt to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and uneasiness. The less you look like a princess, the more you need to feel like a princess at heart.

Every girl can be a princess if she can do all I mentioned, no matter she is rich, beautiful or not. To speak truthfully, I cannot do as well as Sara. However, I will exert myself on being a princess mentally.

Ive read this twice. The first time I rushed through it just to find out who was the "victim." Yeah. Wasnt really surprised about that. Im sure a few people are thinking it was a serious mistake to off our lamented victim, but honestly, I wasnt really enthused at having to slog through this book.

I understand that this is covering the adolescent years of young Mr. Potter, but the whole teenage angst thing came out of nowhere. There shouldve been some hints as far back as "Chamber" but instead, we have four years of pent-up hormones come flooding out of the page. It is overwhelming at times, a feeling made worse when you realize that there wasnt a big plot; if anything, this was written partially for contract, partially to continue the story （I, personally, could have lived without the whole Hagrid/Grawp subplot, not to mention 50% of Dolores Umbridge, who herself is part pun, part metaphor, yet neither part really does anything but make one groan）。

But one thing to be said, there is growing tension and suspense in the book, which is written and intended--if we remember for a moment and think （perhaps somewhat na-iv-ely）--for young adults and not those of us with seasoned palates. This is why the book deserves a high rating; to me--and to many individuals over the age of, say, 16--this isnt a great novel. But it is an excellent novel for the young adult crowd and anyone who wants a mystery/fantasy/pseudo-thriller with characters who are reaching the genesis of their development. We may not like the person Harry becomes or the browbeating attitude of Umbridge or Rons jealousy rearing its head at odd turns, but it is a realistic portrayal of adolescent confusion and angst, of the tendency for some individuals in todays society to repreinformation and punish anyone who tries to resist the "system."

Yes, this is a heavy-handed statement, but this book is a metaphor as much as it is a fantasy. Remember, the Harry Potter series is desgined as an arc, so we naturally have to have the stage set for the final two books in the saga.

Hardcore Potter fans will enjoy this. Anyone expecting a great epic, however, will be disappointed because of their misconceptions.
