The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which Im sure uses terms even young children already know)， the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages.

人总是会长大的，除了个儿长高了，身子强壮了以外，人的思想也在长。你对世界的看法不同了，懂事了，不再幼稚了。不过人是要越变越好才是。千万不能像历险记里的那个心狠手辣的坏蛋卓伊一样，他坏事做尽，人见人憎。但最后他还是恶有恶报，得到了一个活活饿死在山洞里的下场。

the Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingways most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.

My first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.

A lot of examples are showing this point. In the future, changes are likely to be even much greater as science reaches out to shape life itself. Maybe one day, the possibility that life existed on Mars billions of years ago will be potentially one of the greatest discoveries of our time. It is the force of the competition, we human beings’ inquiring mind and initiative that bring about the non-stopped development of science. Therefore, it is difficult and impossible to prevent science from changing the world and our life as well.

At present, we are in two minds about science. On the one hand, we are enjoying the sweet life as a result of the evelopment of science, and expect it to continue. 当然书中还有另一个不悔，便是闵红玉。初见这女子，她从林中纵马出来，挡在马路中央，不知是不是刻意为之，只教人心中不喜。像易连恺这样的男人，若是不爱，怎会有半分怜惜之情。燕云尚且怀着他的孩子，他亦无情抛弃。后来见他毫不犹豫地枪击闵红玉的脚心，便可知他性情凉薄了。但闵红玉真真假假，一腔谋算皆为他，弥留之际那句“兰坡，我不后悔”总是让人十分动容，她洒脱肆意，任性妄为，戏中名角，颇有心计胆识，可称是一位奇女子，而她也同样是寻常人，也会不甘心，也会被爱情所束。关于宏宇，恐怕无人忘记他见到日出时如同小孩子般的欢喜，她跳上岩石，浸在太阳的光辉之下，绚丽夺目，就像她的一生。说起她油豆腐的梦想，她虽是开心的，但叫旁人看来却心不已，因为那样的时光，是再也回不去了。

匪大给这本书“邂逅”二字，我特意翻了字典，上面写着“邂逅：偶然遇见久别的亲友”。开始我不懂，可是看到秦桑重回昌邺，看到秦桑打开暗盒，看到那封短笺，看到那条手绢，那块糖，心中方才恍然。原来真的是邂逅，原来有这样的往事，原来是他，亦是她。

《来不及说我爱你》中慕容沣对静琬说：“遇上你，这样迟”而《迷雾围城》却是另一番光景：早早相遇，却不相识。他一直在等她，却偏偏蹉跎了岁月。

从秦桑到芝山找易连恺一直到结尾清浅的回忆，仅仅不过一年时间，可就是这一年里，翻天覆地的变化。原本我心中留着一丝贪念，总以为那纵身一跃，易连恺是不会死的，哪怕是残了身体，总也会留在这个世上，等待多年后的某一天，秦桑总会等到他，和他之手今生，永不分离。然而这样童话般的结尾是不会有了，看到后记中“她到底会不会知道，镇寒关城楼上那纵身一跃，自己已经永远等不到那个人”这样一句话，我才不得不明白，这个人已经消失了。

其实易连恺的心性极其坚韧，中枪伤，受酷刑，从未叫痛，然而离开秦桑时，他却从来不敢回头。他是不是担心自己一回头，见到秦桑的眼泪，自己就会舍不得离开，舍不得放手，舍不得留她一个人在这尘世间，漂泊独自归。在城楼上易连慎问易连恺：“你的双手都被我割断过，开枪时已经绝少准头，如果这一枪打死了她，你待如何？”易连慎怎会知道，即使手筋被挑断，即使开枪之水平一部机往日之万一，可易连恺怎么会打死秦桑呢？那是他珍视的女子，那是他拿命去换的女子，那是他爱的超过了江山天下的女子，怎么会失了准头？怎么会允许子弹穿过她的心脏？

所以心中怅然若失。镇寒关，镇得住关外的寒冷，怎镇得住尸骨已寒？莫绍谦为童雪放弃一半家产，可是最后童雪会回来的；雷二将纸条抛进了湖中，可是最后晓苏依旧会出现。可是秦桑再也等不到易连恺了，我知道秦桑内心深处是晓得的，那个人真的食了誓言，永远抛下了她。

在英语课上的各种活动中，我感受到我们缺乏太多团结。一个活动中，是要“两人三足”的形式来拿东西的。这个形式，需要的就是配合，才能往返的快。可有些同学是连拖带拽的把另一个同学拉到终点再给他拽回来。这就说明我们不够团结一致。在跳蚤市场中，我发现我们的经商不是很强。有的东西太贵，没人买；有的东西太便宜，亏成本。在别人的铺子里，经常看到一些抢着买的人群。这是因为别人的价格恰到好处，有时还有赠品，别人看的上。由此可见我们的经商还是比别人差了那么一点。在寻宝活动中，我发现我们的词汇量太少，一些句子当中的单词我们根本见都没见过，可见还要多锻炼。还有一个小活动叫“连词成句”。我原本以为这些句子都会很简单的，加上我和赵君安的才华，一定能写出来。结果到我们的时候，我们拿到纸条，顿时傻了。我们竟然不会拼！无奈之下，纸条上怎么写我们就么写给它写下来。在这件事的从中我感受到了我的英语还缺乏应用，一个简单的“连词成句”给我就把我给难倒了，不过这会让我更加努力的学习英语。

在这次英语节中，我感受到了大家充分的热情和不来的经济头脑。部分收成不错，但还要继续磨练我们的英语水平。

像我们常会有这样的想法：小的时候，渴望成长;长大了，却又怀念童年时风中荡漾的秋千。我们永远都不会对现在满足。读完《围城》，我突然有一种冲动，突然想对身边所有人大声地说：“怀念已过去的，珍惜还拥有的。”因为从这本书中我了解到，只有珍视生活中的点点滴滴，我们才能看清生活，不致在人生的道路上迷失方向。
