第一次见《围城》是高中的时候，宿长拿她姐姐的书看，深蓝色封面，大大的写了俩个字围城。里面那句经典“城里的想出去，城外的人想进去”也是早有耳闻。觉得这本书是讲婚姻的利害性。去年，看书之前在木鱼说听木鱼讲了电视剧，觉得方鸿渐是一个怂文人，弄了张假文凭，还爱满嘴讽刺别人，遇事又软弱，觉得钱老拿他当主角简直实在嘲笑。

当看完了书，又觉得我们哪里又比得过方鸿渐。就像辛楣说的，方鸿渐是个好人，但毫无用处。从书的中间开始，鸿渐的人生好像就在走下坡路，从他和唐小姐断了联系，到三闾大学，到辗转回到上海，发生在他身上的一切很戏剧性但又那么真实可信。他像一个明眼人一样聪明，对于发生在周围的一切似乎都能够或快或慢的洞察，但对于周围发生的一切却又无可奈何。这多像我们周围的生活。看书的时候，一直在等鸿渐结婚，看了一半多了，还是没有结婚，看完之后发觉，围城不是讲婚姻。

我很喜欢辛楣，从书中看来他应该是比鸿渐关系硬，能力强点。他喜欢苏玟纨，开始以为他是油腻的没思想，被一腔热血冲昏了头脑的，只觉得苏文纨好的人，后来才发现，原来他都懂，他知道苏的娇柔做作，知道她的所谓新诗可能狗屁不通，甚至可以在苏和曹元朗结婚之后，坦荡表达自己的喜欢进而对他俩进行讽刺。这是很高级的爱啊。

看完了，又查了查钱老，钱老家庭氛围好，很聪明，性格可以说很孤傲，留下了不少段子，和杨绛的爱情故事也是一段佳话。可以说是聪明的看透了身边的人和事，所以才能写的如此真实。世事洞明皆学问，人情练达即文章。有时候我觉得鸿渐是钱老想象的平行世界里的自己。他写书的时候，和杨绛俩人边写边看边笑，更是对世俗的嘲笑。所以，我觉得他没有不喜欢方鸿渐也没有嘲讽，只是无奈。

书里有太多精妙的比喻，让人不得不服。“可是因为她是我们的恩人，我不忍细看她，对于丑人，细看是一种残忍，除非他是坏人，你要惩罚他。”“每逢鸿渐动了真气，她就不再开口，仿佛和鸿渐抢一条绳子，尽力各拉一头，绳子迸直欲断的时候。他就凑上几步，这绳子又松软下来……”嘴太毒了，又很对。

钱老数学考了15分进清华的，其他方面都太优秀，我不得不怀疑他数学15分是装的。大概如果好好学数学，分数不至于15，但语言方面天赋就会被剥夺，就是任性的不喜欢数学吧。

这个时间落伍的计时机无意中包涵对人生的讽刺和感伤，深于一切语言、一切啼笑。

Oliver Twist, one of the most famous works of Charles Dickens’, is a novel reflecting the tragic fact of the life in Britain in 18th century.

The author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London.

The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist, an orphan, who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime.

He suffered enormous pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse.

While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver, I was shocked by his sufferings.

I felt for the poor boy, but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill.

To my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodness eventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end.

One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs.

Maylie and Rose and began a new life.

He who is without goodness is an utterly worthless person.

On the contrary, as the famous saying goes, ‘The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose’, he who is with goodness undoubtedly is a happy and useful person.

People receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done, and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.

To my disappointment, nowadays some people seem to doubt the existence of the goodness in humanity.

They look down on people’s honesty and kindness, thinking it foolish of people to be warm-hearted.

As a result, they show no sympathy to those who are in trouble and seldom offer to help others.

On the other hand, they attach importance to money and benefit.

In their opinion, money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility.

If they cannot get profit from showing their ‘kindness’, they draw back when others are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down.

They are one of the sorts that I really detest.

Francis Bacon said in his essay, ‘Goodness, of all virtues and dignities of the mind, is the greatest, being the character of the Deity, and without it, man is a busy, mischievous, wretched thing, no better than a kind of vermin.’

That is to say a person without goodness is destined to lose everything.

Therefore, I, a kind person, want to tell those ‘vermin-to-be’ to learn from the kind Oliver and regain the nature of goodness.

Everybody has read a famous masterpiece - "treasure island", Treasure Island English reading. The inspiration for Anna Sewell’s novel was drawn from her own relationship with horses. Anna Sewell was born on March 20th, 1820 in Norfolk, England and was crippled while still very young. Due to her disability, she relied on horse-drawn carriages and grew to love horses as a result. She also became appalled by the careless and cruel treatment horses often received from humans and determined to write a book.. In the second year of work on the book, she was told that she had only eighteen months to live, but she persevered in order “to induce kindness, sympathy and an understanding [of the ] treatment of horses.” Five years later, she was still working on Black Beauty, her only book. Unfortunately, Sewell died a few months after publication and never learned of the book’s huge success. Black Beauty formed an impassioned plea for animal rights at a time when such a notion had been dismissed as ridiculous.

The novel portrayed the real condition of working horses living in Britain during the Victorian Era. In that time period, the wealthy thought that their horses were treated well because they never stepped into the stable. In order to call people’s attention to horses’ hard life, Sewell tells the story through the first-person narrative voice of a horse. This innovative personification of an animal made the book a real success. Readers heard the stories straight from the horse’s mouth, literally, as an animal spoke of extremes of joy and suffering. People were shocked by the truth exposed by the novel and changed their attitudes towards animals.

Sewell formed the novel with three kinds of characters: Black Beauty, Ginger and other farm animals. Through their different experiences, I saw similarly painful lives led by the animals. This method made the earnest appeal for animal rights become more and more persuasive.

As a domestic animal, Black Beauty was continuously sold from one family to another. Over the years Beauty enjoyed good masters but also endured mean ones. Sometimes, he was cared for and at other times tortured. In the end, everything turns out all right in a story that is so tender and yet meaningful. His story was so vivid that caught the readers’ heart. The novel brought people laughter and tears and also enlightened them to understand animals at the same time.

Animals cannot speak so understanding is significant to them. Once, for example, Beauty was drawing the carriage to a wooden bridge. The bridge was flooded out in the river and John, the groom, was not aware that it was cracked. But the quickly realized that something was wrong because of Beauty’s abnormal behavior. Momentarily, a man shouted to them, “Stop! Stop!…The bridge is broken in the middle. If you come across, you’ll fall in the river!” Beauty had saved John. However, if John had not tried to understand what Beauty wanted to tell him, there would definitely have been an accident. I learnt from the story that understanding animals is not only essential to them but is also beneficial to us ourselves.

Pride and Prejudice is a novel written by the famous English writer, Jane Austen, who was the sixth children in a family of seven and was born in the village of steventon in Hampshire in 1775 and died of Addison’s disease in 1817. The book first published on 28 January 1813 by the bookseller Thomas Egerton who had also published Sense and Sensibility, the original version of the novel was written in 1796-1797 under the title First Impressions .

Pride and Prejudice is a love story, mainly tells the love between Elizabeth and Darcy. It divided into 2 volumes and is composed of 42 chapters altogether. The major characters are Mr. Darcy, A rich and proud young man. Elizabeth, the second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet. Mr. Bingley , A rich young bachelor. Jane, the first daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Bennet. The story begin with Bingley’s arrival. One day when Mrs.Bennet hear Bingley has taken Netherfield, a house near her’s. She is so happy and arranged one of her five daughters marriage with him. At a ball, luckly, Bingley and Jane fall in love at the first sight. Darcy, a friend of Bingley’s , was attracted to Elizabeth, a lively and spirited girl. But Darcy greatly offends her by his supercilious behavior and this dislike is increased by Wickham, a dashing young militia officer of the unjust treatment he has met with at Darcys hands.

One day when Darcy and Bingley’s two sisters disgusted with the vulgarity of Mrs. Bennet and her two youngest daughters, effectively separated Bingley and Jane. Meanwhile, Collins, a cousin of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, married charlotte, a friend of Elizabeth’s, for Elizabeth’s refuse to marry him. But One day Darcy send Elizabeth a letter, in which he justifies the separation of his friend Bingley and Jane and make it clear that Wickham is. So Elizabeth changed her opinions and ideas toward him. My point of view towards the masterpiece of Jane Austen’s is that this novel reflects the English human sentiment of the end of 18th century and the early of 19th century under the circumstance of conservative，and tells us the difference ways and attitudes to marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet’s five daughters’. Thereby reveal the author herself attitude towards marriage, that is love and marriage based on money, property and social status is not perfect, but it is also stupid Without considering all of these. There, the author emphasize the importance of ideal marriage, meanwhile, to be opposed to love & marriage based on money or property and to be opposed to people’s laugh love & marriage off.

The author takes the affection/love as the cornerstone of ideal marriage between male and female. Elizabeth as the leading character in this novel, was born in the family of squireen’s, and is loved by Darcy. Darcy propose marriage to her in spite of difference in the possession of property and social status, but is refused byElizabeth for his pride , the novel demonstrate that if the pride of Darcy’s existed ， there will be no love and also happy marriage between Elizabeth and he, it is really nice that Elizabeth witness the changes of Darcy’s through series of behavior in the following days.

A Little Princess is a touching novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnett—a famous novelist and dramatist. It obviously contains lots of fancied plots, but the parts it talks about creating miracles, can really reach the bottom of my heart. The book can bring me into a world that is more than reality while reading it. The extraordinary story makes me ponder a lot and gives me a deep impression that every girl can be a princess.

In my opinion, it is impossible for every rich girl to act like a well-behaved princess, but Sara, the heroine of the novel, did it! She was an imaginative little girl who had such intelligent small face and such perfect manners. Sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle, appreciative ways of saying, such as “If you please” “Thank you” which was very charming. So, not only her teachers and classmates liked her, but also her servants liked her. There was a time when Sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the snobbish headmaster of the school. In spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. Sara was confident, brave, optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life. No matter when, Sara acted like a princess, and on account of this, she had accomplished a great deal of miracles over and over again.

After reading this outstanding book, I was shocked by Sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tortures, but still had an opposite attitude towards life. What impresses me most is that Sara put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes, wading in the street of London. From my point of view, her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring.

Truly, every girl is a princess coming into common life. The “princess” I mean is not a princess living in the palace and being regarded as the apple of everyone’s eye. As the matter of fact, the “princess” is at heart. I am in the belief that every ordinary girl in the world can be a princess. The way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple. Just suppose! You can suppose yourself to be a princess, and go about your business confidently without caring how the others would treat you. If you want to have more resemblance to a princess, be more kind and try your best to help the people in need. The most important thing you are supposed to do is that to feel like a real princess at any occasion, particularly when you are involved with enormous melancholy. Do not feel the conditions you faced are extremely wretched and attempt to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and uneasiness. The less you look like a princess, the more you need to feel like a princess at heart.

后来再看时，或许是年岁长了几节，又或许是学识涨了几两，仅是读到那句“把刺刀磨尖当成笔，蘸鲜血当墨水，写在敌人的皮肤上当纸”，便已叫我心惊肉跳。全书看似平直朴实的语言下，藏着的是尖锐而敏感的情愫，撕破平庸的外裳，作者的悲哀是如此锐利，一针见血。宛如斗破苍穹的闪电，割裂天地。那是一个生活在上海沦陷、民族衰亡的年代的作家来自笔尖，最无声的呐喊。随着围城的落笔，我想，先生必定也在这两年里渐渐剥离围住了自己的那座城。

两年里忧世忧生，唯有时间不可挡。

主人公方鸿渐，出生在封建家庭，留过洋，稍稍有些才华，骨子里却又是带着虚荣的窘迫文人。他常常感觉自己被吹成一个大肥皂泡泡，未破时五光十色，经人一搠就不知去向。迫于父亲给的压力假造文凭留学归来，在经历了与唐晓芙和苏文纨的两段爱情之后，终和孙柔嘉共结连理。纵观全书，在先生笔下方渐鸿绝算不得一个好文人，他身上缺点很多，与鲍小姐的一夜情，因为优柔寡断他伤害了苏小姐，因为好面子失去了他和唐晓芙的真挚爱情，最后选择了孙小姐，婚后的生活也总是争吵不休，两人时常恶语相向。可我始终觉得他身上有另一种和那个年代迂腐文人不同的东西，也许是他对小城市摩登姑娘的刻薄评价打动了我，也许是他说的那句“世间哪有恋爱？压根是生殖冲动”让捧书的我忍不住轻笑了一声，也许是他不愿像大部分人一样过着平庸的生活。总之，我从这本书里，读到了先生对这个人物的另一种诠释。他是围困在城里的可怜人，却也是那座城里难得的明白人与自由者。

他是一个被迫生活在上海的矛盾结合体，也是那个时代许许多多上海男人的写照，他与孙柔嘉的婚姻，何尝不是绝大部分人最终的选择。唐晓芙显然是作者偏爱的角色，我以为作者多半会选择在最后添上一段二人的重逢。数年之后，依旧是上海车水马龙的街头，方鸿渐与妻子从市集买了做晚饭的菜正走在回家的路上，他恍惚受到感应一般地转头，恰巧瞥见唐晓芙施施然从一辆洋车上下来，她的眉眼仍是当年那个稚嫩的如新鲜水果般的小姑娘，只是手上的蓝宝石戒指和她左手搀住的满脑肥肠的中年男人出卖了她，方鸿渐不自觉将妻子的手握得紧了又紧，大步朝家走去。

似是故人，却又非是故人来。

其实作者如果让唐晓芙和方鸿渐成为眷属，由眷属再吵架闹翻，那么，结婚如身陷围城的意义就阐发得更透彻了。然而我们不难揣测，不管娶了谁，结婚后总会有那么几刻发现娶的并非意中人。故事里如此，生活中亦如此。

而上海，作为一个爆发的都市，从来就没有山水花柳作为春的安顿。

“可能是因为故事中死人太多了，枉死者没有消磨掉的生命力都迸作春天的生意”，不知写出这句话的先生，在那年炮火连天的上海的春天里，是否受到了一种生机透芽的痛痒，如同婴孩出齿时的牙龈肉一般。

读完此书，更像是体验了一把山中清扰的热闹。

《英语教学方法与策略》读后感

为了提高自身的英语教学质量和效率,我从学校图书馆借来《英语教学方法与策略》一书,利用业余时间认真地进行了研读,获得了不少教益。

这本书由鲁子问和康淑敏两位专家编写,由华东师范大学出版社出版,可以作为英语教学设计方向研究生教材,也可以作为中小学英语教师设计培训教材使用。我认为在英语学科骨干教师研修班接受培训期间读读这样一本书是再合适不过的。这本书介绍了教学方法与教学策略的相同与差异,提出了教学方法与策略的选择与整合的方法,介绍了英语教学方法的实践操作方法,包括情景教学法、交际教学法、任务教学法和自主学习教学,然后分析了英语教学过程的策略及实践操作方法,并从英语知识教学的策略及实践操作方法、英语技能教学的策略及时间操作方法两方面对英语教学方法与策略的行动研究提供了系统的指导。

编者用六章分别讲了教学方法与教学策略、英语教学方法的实践操作、英语教学过程的策略及实践操作、英语知识教学的策略及实践操作、英语技能教学的策略及实践操作和英语教学方法与策略的行动研究。

该书对相关理论进行了系统、简要的讲解,主要的内容是对英语教学实践的指导与分析。每一节都采用“准备-学习-实践”三部式结构,不仅讲解理论,而且注重教学实践。在每一节的理论讲解之后,都设计了“实践分析”专栏,以强化理论与实践的直接联系。在看每一节的时候,我都是跟着该书的编排形式在不断地调整自己的思维。在准备环节,编者会给出一个案例,让读者思考,遇到此类教学问题该如何解决,此时,我的大脑就会回忆我在教学中有没有遇到过,我又是如何解决的,然后思考怎样才能解决得更好;在学习环节,编者给我们提供了最系统的理论知识,此时我就很认真地研读每一条理论,认真理解每一个概念,为今后的教学活动积累必要的理论知识;在实践部分,我仔细地看了每个实践活动,对于一些比较有价值的活动自己在教学中也尝试着使用。

本书的优点是:1)语言浅显易懂。不像平常的教育着作,带着很多专业术语。2)内容很实用。书中不但简要地介绍教育理论,还举出大量的课堂活动例子,很适合各个层次的外语教师参考。3)描述很细致。书中谈到英语教学中很多细节的东西。4)编排符合读者习惯,发人深思。书中每一章节都会在适当的位置上安排一个文本框,给出一些名词解释或让读者讨论或思考一个问题。如:请讨论,您如何看待Practice makes perfect.它与数量原则有什么关系?训练中如何把握训练的量?

这本书让我羞愧于自己在教学理论和策略方面知识的匮乏,更让我明白英语教学的成功应体现在“培养学习者在真实的情景中有效使用英语的能力”我是一个率性而为的人,很多时候只是随心而教学,不会严格遵循某一教学模式。所以一直以来,教学成绩都没有取得重大突破,而我本人也一直为此烦恼,这本书教会我许多有理论支持的教学方法。如:语法翻译法、直接教学法、认知法、自然法、社团教学法、沉默教学法、全身反应法、暗示教学法。从书中我悟到了想成为一名优秀的教师必须充分认识到“教必有法”的原则性和“教务定法”的灵活性特点之间的统一关系。教师不应拘于一法一策,囿于一方一圆,而是要因地制宜,因材施教,将各类方法加以组合和调配,在吸收、借鉴已有教学方法的基础上,创造性地发挥,逐步形成富有教师个人特色的教学风格。在教学实践中,我根据教学环境、教学目标、教学内容、学生的需求和自身的教学风格适丰富了一下教学方法和策略,收到了一定的效果。

我最受启发的是书中的如下观点:呈现学习任务时,应当向学习者描述任务中的问题发生的物理背景、组织和社会文化背景。并且,问题的呈现必然是有趣的或吸引人的,目的是引导学习者的积极参与。让学习者体现到伸手可及的成功;教学活动的设置应考虑学习者的兴趣,需要和情感;老师可以和学习者商量课堂活动的内容并建议学习者把他们感兴趣的学习材料带回班上。让我陷入长久的沉思的是这个观点:“personalities and relationships are important for motivation”即:教师的性格及其与学习者之间的良好关系在调动学习者学习方面很重要。文中提到“即使我们不能完全改变自己去满足不同学习者的需要,但我们可以主动了解学习者感兴趣的话题,如:流行音乐,年轻人喜欢的电影,新车,科技的发展等。看到这里,对于学生为什么没有积极参与我自以为精心准备的课堂活动,我似乎找到了答案:设计活动时,我只是从教材内容和个人兴趣出发。当学生冷淡对待活动时,我只会埋怨大的学习环境不好,埋怨学生不配合,极少去思考是否学生对内容感兴趣,是否活动的难度适合学生,课堂指令是否清晰等因素。文中还指出:即使学生会使用老师准备好的语言结构,也明确活动的目的,但如果他们缺乏信心,也不会积极参与…所以,对学生及时得体的鼓励相当重要,借用李阳老师的话就是鼓励学生 “Enjoy losing face. Enjoy making mistakes ”总之,要踏上英语教学的成功之路,进行方方面面的准备工作是必要的,

对于以后的教学,我将努力改变陈旧的教学理念,尝试新的教学模式,自始至终把学生放在中心位置:把激发学生的学习热情放在首位,发挥交际教学的优势。是时候改变沉闷的课堂气氛,还学生一个愉快的学习环境了!是时候彻底解放学生,还学生一个可以自主学习的空间了!

其实,单纯阅读只是一个浅层理解词句的过程,我们可能在阅读中很感动,很受启发,但是,几个星期或几个月后,可能我们的思维又回复原状;若把我们的所思所想写下来,联系我们的教学或生活实际加以变通,可能会更长久地影响我们;而如果把我们学到的经验及时应用在教学中或生活中,我们的学生或我们自己则会终身受益,这才是阅读的目的。“热爱阅读、高效阅读、创新阅读”让我们互勉!

In the winter holiday.I read a book.It is very wonderful.Its name is "The monkeys paw".The book tells about the Whites and a paws story.Mr.Whites friend gave him a small and dirty paw.He said "It can makes your dreams come true.But youll feel unhappy."Mr.White wanted ?3000.And after some days,he got ?3000,but his son deid.The end is Mr.White and his wife were very sad.

I think “The monkeys paw” is very useful.Because it tells us some important things.Such as "get something for nothing." is impossible.We must do every things by ourselves.And we must know learn by doing.

When I was 10 years old.I was not good at math.And I had tried to find many escape solutions.But no one is good for me.My mother tolds me,"learn by doing",and I did some test questions.Now,my math is ok.I think my story likes "The monkeys paw".And in the new future,I will do every things by my self and do not rely on my father and mother.I know I am the best.

What a nice story!“The monkeys paw”is perfect，and I will learn more and more in it.
