围城英语读后感(合集20篇)

我读的钱钟书写的小说《围城》是人民文学出版社出版、1991年4月北京第4次印刷版，定价3.55元。

不知道别人是怎么读围城，反正我是挣扎着读完围城的。用挣扎这个词，似乎对钱老不尊重，但这是真话，钱老喜欢说真话的人。之所以用挣扎来形容，是因为一点吸引力都没有、一点读的欲望都没有。只是为了钱老是名人而读;只是为了围城是名著而读;只是为了跟别人说我看过围城而读。

全书比喻用得太多，无处不在的比喻倒是很形象、很到位、很贴切、也很必要，但多了就读烦了。我也用一个比喻，好象顿顿吃山珍海味，也会腻的。

小说围城深层次的意义我说不上来，单从文字上看，我觉得无愧为最出色的语言教科书，对风景的描写、人物的形容、心理的刻画、家具的解说，均达到珠穆朗玛峰的高度。

不过对鸡毛蒜皮太绘声绘色了;对婆婆妈妈太字字珠玑了;对家长里短太入木三分了;对是是非非太浓墨重彩了。我的素质不高，对此还是有些看不惯。

1947年钱老写这本书，对国人已经有精辟总结。钱老借赵辛楣的嘴：“外国一切好东西到中国没有不走样的，想中国真利害，天下无敌手，外国东西来一件，毁一件。”方鸿渐做名教授梦时明白了一条真理：“得学位是把论文哄过自己的先生;教书是把讲义哄过自己的学生。”方鸿渐对自己的新媳妇孙柔嘉说：“你姑母爱狗胜于爱你;她这样喜欢和狗做伴侣，表示她不配跟人在一起。”

太佩服钱老的眼光了。

我要大声赞美，围城绝对是本好书，值得一看，只是读起来很苦，很费劲。

看完《围城》后，对生活的理想和现实有了思考，主人公方鸿渐的生活现实就是围城，而他总想逃出围城，到达自己理想的生活，可最后却是进入另一个围城。

《围城》的主人公方鸿渐和唐小芙是一对恋人，一个人爱得死去活来，至今仍不明白对方真意，亦有许多误解，每个人似乎都要经历这样一场刻骨铭心而又没有结局的爱情，回想时总会笑言当时过痴太傻，亦或微微的留恋，得不到的始终是种美好，包括人和回忆。苏小姐和孙小姐一样是一个千方百计要得到方鸿渐的人，恰好也有了对比，只可惜苏小姐的千方百计里多了一个唐小芙，还有方鸿渐没有被现实打磨的风华意志，错误的时间和主动的投怀送抱，加之鸿渐倾心他人，落得如此结局亦是意料之中。想来女人想要得到一个男人多学学孙小姐的欲语含羞比较好，天时地利人和的概述想是对孙柔嘉水到渠成最好的描述，女人都是心里学家，但女人却不是最好的思想家。有时候我会在想，孙柔嘉之所以得到了方鸿渐是预谋了很久之后一步一步实施的，欲要男人主动必先让男人吃醋，欲让男人承认必先要制造话题，想来读围城读出了追男攻略，不免可笑自己，哈哈。

围城外面的人想进去，呆在围城里面的人想出来。围城的精华部分在于孙柔嘉与方鸿渐的家庭生活，生活在一起的夫妻，家族相关琐事和柴米油盐不知惹得多少人后悔的想跳出牢笼。婚姻大抵就是这样，婚前浪漫二人世界，婚后两个家庭的彼此你来我往，表面上客套地寒暄，实际上各自怀着自己的想法。女人听女方家的唠叨回来与丈夫气受，丈夫听父母数落媳妇种种不是而后与妻子大动肝火。如闻着很想的烤红薯般，到嘴里却发现自己只喜欢闻着味儿而已。如书中所说，结婚后你才发现娶的不是原来的人，早已换作另外一个。那嫁的人是不是也早已换作另外一个了呢?

小说充满讽刺和悲伤，深于一切语言，一切啼笑。面对爱情，我们曾经认真，给彼此很多承诺，但最后分开，说那是无奈，那是因为心被围了座城。

单从读《百年孤独》的直观感觉来说，是非常的微妙且有意思的。与以往容易入书入戏的我不同，百年孤独里的悲欢离合、跌宕起伏、生离死别似乎和我之间隔了一层下雨中的玻璃墙。每当我似乎身临其境的时候，总有一层新雨将玻璃重新淋得模糊。也许是因为作者总以戏谑的口吻描述类似神话的种种场景，也许是因为书中人物狂野的孤独离世俗的自己太过遥远。

整本书中，每个人都是一个孤独的个体。从家族第一个霍赛阿卡迪奥，到最后一个具有家族明显特征的奥雷良诺。从高傲果敢轰轰烈烈的奥雷良诺上将到精力充沛平凡而伟大的乌苏拉老妈妈，从纯洁如天使的俏姑娘雷梅苔丝到喜欢热闹以至于娶了两个老婆的双胞胎之一。

如果你和我、和大多数人一样，周期性的抑郁，不妨看看这本书，让书中孤独人的鲁莽激起你无畏抗争的勇气。也许，我们可以活得更牛逼哄哄，至少在别人眼中。奥雷良诺上将死去的时候，我心中一阵痛楚，就是这么想的。

我相信，这本书能给我的，远远不止于此。

However, Anna Sewell’s Black Beauty is a different one, as its main character is a black, handsome horse called Black Beauty. Sewell has spent 6 years on this book, while she was seriously sick. Unfortunately, she died soon after her only book in her whole life was published. As Sewell was crippled and unable to walk since a young age, she by nature had sympathy on the poor animals. Therefore, Black Beauty it is not a fairy tale, but a book which seriously talks the issue of the abuse of animals. Sir Oliver got a shortened tail because his previous owner thought it was fashionable. Also, there was a groom, little Joe Green. At first, he was too young to know how to properly how to take care of the hot and tired Black Beauty after an emergency, making Black Beauty seriously sick. Grieved, Joe began to do his best to learn hors care. However, soon, the Gorgons had to move because of Mrs. Gordon’s health, so they sold Black Beauty and Ginger to Earlshall Park.

This time, Black Beauty was lucky to have a kind-hearted new owner; a cab driver in London called Jerry. What’s more, Jerry’s families were all kind-hearted, which made Black Beauty happy to bear the hard work of pulling a cab every day. By chance, he met Ginger. She was mistreated as a cab horse; in such a great pain that she was longing for death. And soon, it came true. At the same time, Jerry became weaker and weaker, and finally he was ill in bed after waiting for two customers on a bitter cold night. After his recovery, Jerry was told not to work as s cab driver any more, so Black Beauty was sold again.

Black Beauty’s new owner, a corn dealer, was kind to him, but the dealer’s foreman, Jakes, often overworked the horse and used the bearing rein. Once advertised by a kind lady, Jakes was easier on Black Beauty. However, the dark stables nearly made Black Beauty blind. After sold to work as a cab horse again, Beauty was too old and too weak. With full effort, he rejuvenated Beauty and sold him to Miss Ellen and Miss Blomefield. To Beauty’s surprise, he met Joe Green there. Form then on, Black Beauty began a happy life at his last home.

After reading this book, one may admire Black Beauty’s strong will, persistence, and loyalty, or feel sympathetic on him and feel happy for him to get a happy ending. However, it needs our deeper thinking, a much deeper thinking. In fact, Sewell doesn’t only focus on showing Black Beauty’s great characteristics. By telling Black Beauty’s whole life story, she aimed at revealing the hard life of animals at that time and altering us the crime of those who abuse animals.

From Beauty’s suffering during his whole life time, we can see the tragic life of animals at that time. Some people ran after the so-called fashion blindly. In order to satisfy their own vanity，they ignored animals’ great pain. For example, Sir Oliver’s shortened tail. What the so-called fashion gave animals is great pain rather than a beautiful appearance. Some people knew nothing about how to keep animals, and were always making them work all day long. Let’s see what the result is. Sir Oliver got great annoyance and discomfort because of its shortened tail. Ginger was ill-tempered and bit others often. What’s more, numerous animals died because of over work. What a tragedy！

In fact, the abuse of animals not only happened in the past, but also today, maybe right at this moment, a civilized age. Years ago, I got to know that a few girls cut down a cat’s feet, and then threw it on the street, leaving it bleeding to death. And the year before, it was reported that a student from QingHua University, gave black bears sulfate to drink, which gave black bears a great pain. As to the facts that some old or sick animals are abandoned, it has been very common. Although some organizations aiming at protecting animals have been set up, the abuse of animals can not be prevented. Maybe nowadays the abuse of animals was caused by life pressure, but life pressure can not be an excuse to abuse animals. Those people who live under life pressure should find other ways to solve the problem, but not avoid it by hurting animals.

However, if one can treat animals kindly, the result will be different. Kind people who love animals, such as Mrs. Gordon, Joe, Jerry, get animals’ love and respect in return. As they were friendly to horses, horses are friendly to them and would like to do as much work as they can for them, even sacrifice themselves when their owners were in danger.

I am sure, animals and human can become good friends. No animals will do harm to human, if human have not frightened them first. If you would like to try to have a close and friendly touch with animals, whether tigers or dogs, you will find that they are lovely. Its true that we are much cleverer than animals, but our intelligence should not act as the tool to dominant animals. In fact, we human and animals have the same feeling, because we are all created by one nature, and share one nature together. Therefore, human have no right to abuse them, or kill them. On the contrary, we should protect them, which is our real sacred and glorious obligation.

Do not put the “bearing rein” on the animals. It is cruel.

Do not always focus on our own happiness. It is selfish.

Try to open our eyes to animals that are suffering a hard life.

Try to understand The Black Beauty, and the author.

My Feelings after reading Wuthering Heights

Wuthering Heights is a well-written tragedy of love. After reading the whole story, I would like to talk about the main characters of the story—Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff love each other very much, but they do not have the right attitude towards love, which leads to the tragedy.

In Catherine’s life, she made a very foolish decision---marrying to Edgar. In fact, her love for Edgar can never be compared to that for Heathcliff. She did so, because she thought the wealth of Edgar would be useful to Heathcliff. But in reality, it did not work. She did not have a good understanding of love, which is something pure and saint. If anyone add any purpose into love, love itself lost its meaning. Catherine’s wrong decision hurt two people who love her, and even destroyed the happiness of their offspring.

Heathcliff is a man full of retaliation. He loved Catherine very much, but what he did, on the contrary, added to the misery of Catherine. In my opinion, if he really loved Catherine, he should not walk into Catherine’s life again after his disappearance. Further more, after the death of Catherine, what Heathcliff did brought agony to Catherine’s daughter, as well as his own son.

《呼啸山庄》是一部写得很好的爱情悲剧。读完整个故事,我想谈谈故事的主人公——凯瑟琳和希斯克利夫。凯瑟琳和希斯克利夫非常相爱,但他们没有采取正确的态度对待爱情,从而导致悲剧。

书是很久以前读的，笔记是很久以前写的，读后感却是很久以后的现在写的，也忘记了很多细节，但感觉还是有的。

最先出场的是鲍小姐。鲍小姐性格泼辣，生活放荡，视财如命，爱她丑陋平凡，毫无亮点的未婚夫，迂执但我去未免不替他可怜，只知道用金钱养她的男人，若长得英俊潇洒还可以牵住她的心几分钟，否则，头上还不知道被这样的女人叩几顶绿帽子，也难怪她会如此放荡。

与此同时，苏文纨也出场了，这个人可是一个了不起的人物，刚开始，我还在为他心疼，觉着他是庸俗中的一只清秀，可慢慢的被他的一些小细节吸引，他为什么表面上夸赞小孩，背后用手帕擦小孩碰过的手?不久，她便原形毕露，原来她是外表高雅，内心俗不可耐的人。从总体来看，他喜欢上主人公方鸿渐，但却毁掉她的人生，破坏它与唐小姐之间的感情，不给孙小姐好脸色。而且总喜欢看喜欢她的人争来争去。哎!他可真是个坏姑娘，读书笔记上是这么写的。

她最嫁给一个有钱的胖子，苏文纨也是一个俗女子，她却不想鲍小姐泼辣，日后的生活，怕是无聊得很。

这里是看了一半写的评语，她的婚后生活可一点不无聊，脑子里的生意经念的可出奇的好，在上海的“贵姓”(尽管不合适，也暂且这么叫吧，毕竟有很多共同点呢)圈中，卖各种小东西赚钱。如果没有出生在这样的环境中，她还会这么庸俗吗，还会很得令人咬牙切齿吗?时代造英雄，环境影响人的一生。

方鸿渐，懒散，追名利，懦弱，胆小，还有一点良知，但却完全不懂世态炎凉的人，方鸿渐是悲剧的时代产物，却也是“极品之极品”坏到不能再坏了。也许在此环境中，方鸿渐只能如此吧!身为主人公，他的生活却是最悲催的，能混他这样的主人公怕是不多吧，在我读过的书中，也只有阿Q可以和他媲美了。方鸿渐出国留学的的学费是他的岳父给出的，但他的博士文凭却是他买的。他没有在国外努力勤奋的学习，而是荒废学业，四处游玩，回国后丑态百出。只能在岳父的银行中干一点事情。之后，遇到唐小姐。

唐小姐，天真但不失聪慧，心中喜欢方鸿渐，却因为苏小姐的搅和，失了面子，将他赶走，两人皆失姻缘，真不知方鸿渐为何会喜欢他。

这段话也是读书笔记中的一段，看来说还要看完，人也要慢慢懂。唐小姐可真是一股清流在浑浊的流水，难怪方鸿渐会喜欢她。看来我也要改一下我没看到最后便下结论的坏毛病，在这里为你平反了，唐小姐。

里面的人想出来，外面的人想进去。掏出上海那座围城，又落进大学那座城，却始终没有逃出爱情那座城。

我一直很想读《围城》，因为钱钟书，也因为它在文学界的地位。但是由于种种原因，直到2014年12月27号，我才开始涉读这本向往已久的宝书。拿着这本书，心里异常高兴我终于能和大师对话了。这本满载盛誉的书能带给我怎样的体验呢。带着满腔的喜悦，我开始了读《围城》之旅。

整本书里，钱钟书先生没有华丽的辞藻;没有惊心动魄的故事;没有荡气回肠的爱情。那么，是什么使《围城》具有如此大的魅力，让一批又一批的学者们为之倾倒呢?我想这部小说的真正魅力似乎主要不在阅读过程，而在读完整本之后才产生。读完全书，再将主人公方鸿渐所有的经历简化一下，那就是，他不断地渴求冲出“围城”，然而冲出之后又总是落入另一座“围城”，就这样，出城，等于又行城，再出城，又再进城……永无止境。

The fox tells his secret to little prince and he helps a pilot in the desert. In the end, he dies under the help of a snake and his soul goes back to his planet. This book is very interesting and teaches me a lot. I like little price adventures. He teaches me to be honest and love others. All of us should never loss the pureness of childhood.

What strikes me is Tom’s loyalty to his religious belief. All of us has our own belief , it plays a most important part in our life, it supports us whenever we are caught in rough conditions ,it helps us get out of the dark to see the sunrise, it teach us how to adapt ourselves to different circumstances.

Life is full of ups and downs; we should hold our belief to fight against them to realize our goals!

Ive read this twice. The first time I rushed through it just to find out who was the "victim." Yeah. Wasnt really surprised about that. Im sure a few people are thinking it was a serious mistake to off our lamented victim, but honestly, I wasnt really enthused at having to slog through this book.

I understand that this is covering the adolescent years of young Mr. Potter, but the whole teenage angst thing came out of nowhere. There shouldve been some hints as far back as "Chamber" but instead, we have four years of pent-up hormones come flooding out of the page. It is overwhelming at times, a feeling made worse when you realize that there wasnt a big plot; if anything, this was written partially for contract, partially to continue the story （I, personally, could have lived without the whole Hagrid/Grawp subplot, not to mention 50% of Dolores Umbridge, who herself is part pun, part metaphor, yet neither part really does anything but make one groan）。

But one thing to be said, there is growing tension and suspense in the book, which is written and intended--if we remember for a moment and think （perhaps somewhat na-iv-ely）--for young adults and not those of us with seasoned palates. This is why the book deserves a high rating; to me--and to many individuals over the age of, say, 16--this isnt a great novel. But it is an excellent novel for the young adult crowd and anyone who wants a mystery/fantasy/pseudo-thriller with characters who are reaching the genesis of their development. We may not like the person Harry becomes or the browbeating attitude of Umbridge or Rons jealousy rearing its head at odd turns, but it is a realistic portrayal of adolescent confusion and angst, of the tendency for some individuals in todays society to repreinformation and punish anyone who tries to resist the "system."

Yes, this is a heavy-handed statement, but this book is a metaphor as much as it is a fantasy. Remember, the Harry Potter series is desgined as an arc, so we naturally have to have the stage set for the final two books in the saga.

Hardcore Potter fans will enjoy this. Anyone expecting a great epic, however, will be disappointed because of their misconceptions.

初读《围城》的那一次最大的心里感受也是这篇小说跟我以前读过的小说相异。它并没有去塑造一个正面的形象或者是去赞美它。里面绝大大多数人物，尤其是首要人物钱老都不遗余力的去讥讽，嘲讽，奚落。以至于有部分人看完《围城》后会说写方鸿渐那样一个人有什么好处。或者它的好处就在于那些奚落，嘲讽，它就像一把冰冷的手术刀剖析了那个时代所谓的知识分子阶层。将他们的冷漠，自私，狭隘，封闭，软弱等等劣根性了解透彻展现时读者面前。《围城》它或许没有我们阅读传统小说是对书中伟大人物，崇高情感的崇拜和感动。但是我们对书中人物的性格，命运无相异情，叹息，鄙视，尤甚对当时国内那个时代的命运都布满了一种悲切和忧心，这里的情感也是复杂和真挚的。《围城》是一部批判的小说。钱老以他独有的幽默和讽刺手法来写《围城》并没有使批判失之厚重和严厉;反而能直指那个时代国内社会的病根，能够想象《围城》初版发行之时定让读者有心头棒喝的心里感受。

钱老学识渊博，笔力高深毋庸置疑。出色之处书中俯拾皆是。里面引经据典之贴切，简直妙到豪颠。古今中外之经典，全部信手拈来，却又挥洒自如。非凡难能可贵的是钱老写婆媳之中，妯娌之中的猜忌，彼此的鄙薄，貌合神离，搬弄是非等等这些女生作家所擅长的题材也描写得无不入木三分那些嬉笑怒骂场合，那些拌嘴弄舌的眉眼，那些惺惺作态的情致简直让人心里感受历历在目。这两年有作家长篇大论的专门出书写婆媳那些事，我草草看过甚觉的那些婆媳矛盾大有拼凑和制造之感，其写作功力和创作境地与钱老那确实是不可同日而语了。

可惜现时像那样的好作家太少。现时是个文化快餐，情感速食的年代，书中情节大起大落，情感大悲大喜，经不起咀嚼。我希望我四周的朋友或者同龄人能够看些书，能够看些像《围城》那样有部分深度和好处的好书。当你钟情于韩剧给你带来的眼泪或者港台剧制造的那些爆笑，提示大家花些时间精力在某些关于严厉题材，站在理性角度写出来的有深刻好处的书，那样你的眼泪或者欢笑会显得有价值得多。
