令我失望的是，现在有些人似乎怀疑人性的善的存在。他们看不起人们的诚实和善良，认为愚蠢的人是热心。结果，他们对那些处于困境中的人没有同情心，也很少主动帮助别人。另一方面，他们重视金钱和利益。在他们看来，金钱是唯一真正的对象，而情感和道德的虚无。如果他们不能从显示他们的“善意”获得利润，他们退缩时，别人面临的麻烦，甚至打了一个人，当他下来。他们是我最讨厌的一种。

弗朗西斯·培根说，在他的文章中，“善良，所有的美德和心灵的尊严，是最大的，是神的性质，没有它，人是一个繁忙的，淘气的、不幸的事情，没有比一种害虫。”

又读《围城》，感觉很不同，尤其是对于孙柔嘉的印象，感觉孙柔嘉并非如大多数人的评价，处心积虑，把方鸿渐拖入围城，他反而是认准目标，努力实践，不离不弃，对生活、对家庭从来没有失去信心的正面形象。相对几乎所有男人的梦中情人唐晓芙而言，孙柔嘉更是一个活生生的人，而不是一个象征，一个理想。

在《围城》里，身逢乱世的人们，过着颠沛流离的生活，以知识分子为主的主人公，活在自己的围城里，面对着转瞬即逝的财富、事业和爱情，经历着人生的幻灭，电光石火的美妙，注定只是回首的惘然。

在乱世，活着就是一种成就。

当然，钱钟书之写《围城》，对于战争只是点到为止，书中的人物并没有在战争中悄然而逝，他们依然以一种常态生存，战争对于他们仅是一种不和谐音，一种避重就轻的背景音乐。

无论是在战争年代还是在和平时期，总有一些东西会深留在人心中，吹尽黄沙始见金，那些人性的美好，人格的魅力，对于生活的挚爱，是怎样的围城都不能围困，多久的历史都不会冲淡的。

我今天读了《老人与海》这本书，它讲的故事令我非常感动。

老人在八十一天没有捕到鱼之后，他终于捕到了一只剑鱼。可是，在他回来的路上，他遇到了一只鲨鱼，他与鲨鱼搏斗一场，最后，老人失去了他捕到的剑鱼，他又空手而归了。

老人永不言败的精神感动了我，在他与鲨鱼搏斗时说：“你可以杀死一个人，但你永远不可以打败他”。老人宁死不屈的精神让我为之震撼，我又想起了司马迁，他也没放弃自己的生命，终于写成了《史记》；我又想起了张海迪，她瘫痪在床，但还是用吉它歌唱自己的人生；我还想起贝多芬，他双目失明，双耳失聪，却写出了9部交响曲……

我终于明白自己平常生活中，无论遇到怎样的困难都不能放弃，要坚持，这样才能成功。
