Not long ago I just read the English version of "Diary of Anne Frank." In fact this is not the first time I read this book. When I first read it in elementary school and read the Chinese version. Then still small still can not read that means nothing. Now it seems there feeling very deeply.

Anne Frank was a Jewish girl. She could and ordinary girl living a happy life but she was not hiding different parents attic. Anne all day hiding in dark little attic to escape the Nazis killing. After reading the "Diary of Anne Frank" my heart is very heavy. Nazi racial discrimination maiming and killing innocent pretty much the same as Annes children. War is always nasty it makes human experience is a market catastrophe.

I felt that I was deeply fascinated by it soon after I had read it.

I first read it in a summer. I did not finish it at a single sitting. However, the moment I finished it, near midnight in a sweltering August day, with my body poured with sweat, held my breath to turn the last page over, shut the book and heaved a sigh of relief, I just could not express how I felt. All were over: trouble was over; lives were over; hopes were over. I was shocked how such a small book could contain such a complicated story. Never were wars, diseases and starvation ever nakedly exposed to me like this. The turns in plots were surprising but natural.

It was a tragedy: Just as its name suggested, everything was gone with the wind, including families’ touch, friends’ support, sweethearts’ gaze and youth with vigour. The story reminds us of valuing all we were possessing. A life lasts for a short time and anything in it lasts shorter. We always lose something unconsciously and then feel regretful when we need them later.

Characters in the story were so vivid as if they had been going to jump out of the story, as if they had been existed in the real life at first.

“Land is the only thing in the world that amounts to anything, for ‘this the only thing in this world that lasts, and don’t you be forgetting it’ this the only thing worth working for, worth fighting for——worth dying for.” Said Gerald, an Irish man who loved his soil more than his own life, let us know that life can be born out of land.

“But Scarlett, did it ever occur to you that even the most deathless love could wear out? Mine wore out, against Ashley Wilkes and your insane obstinacy that makes you hold on like a bulldog to anything you think about.”

Said Scalett O’hara, the most wonderful woman I’ve ever seen. She was hard and greedy and unscrupulous, a brave, frightened, bull-headed child. Though she only thought about how to attract man’s attention and did not do anything useful before the war, she did surprise me when I read about her doings after the war. At that time, her Tara was just reduced to ashes. Everyone sketched out their hands and asked her for food. She bravely faced the reality and rebuilt Tara with her own hands. What a tough woman, I thought. Though those she loved were all gone, she was still full of hope. When Rett didn’t love her anymore and wanted to leave her, she said “I mustn’t bawl… even if he doesn’t love me.” A woman’s dignity could be seen from what she have said and done. That’s why I appreciate her.

This novel gave me too much to think about and I can not fully express myself in English. It is true that reading an origin is more vivid than the translated ones. However, my English level limits me to understand the origin well without the translated. But I will work hard in order to understand better.

The novel is my treasure, forever, because I find myself in Scarlett and find the world I live in inside the story.

That’s really an excellent novel, with an ending from which you can see hope rising from despair.

我记得有人说过，感动只是在一瞬间，但真情却永远存生。用这句话来形容这场电影实在是再好不过了，反复这句话就是为这场电影而量身制作的。这场电影不短也不长，看了一个多小时吧，它主要讲了一个小男孩和他的姐姐父亲之间的事，小男孩的母亲去世的很早，只剩下她和姐姐，父亲相依为命，父亲用转勺的方法决定他和姐姐谁去上学，谁辍学ue，最后小男孩上学，姐姐则照顾这个家。刚开始，小男孩因为亲眼目睹自己的同学被河水淹死的情景害怕所以逃学，被父亲知道后教训了他一顿。从此，小男孩便开始努力学习，一直到高中，并且在一次奥林匹克化学竞赛中获得了陕西省的一名，就在此不久，他的姐姐出嫁了，他得知后，非常难过，于是，他便开始照顾自己的父亲。

终于，他考上了大学，可父亲生病了，于是他决定不去上大学在家照顾自己的父亲，父亲知道后，非常生气，便在一天晚上投井自尽了，幸好男孩及时发现，要不然父亲就死了，最终，男孩答应父亲自己去上大学，但为了要照顾父亲所以背着父亲一起去了大学。在看完这场电影后，我才明白原来父母对我们寄存的希望是非常大的，可我么却不懂得珍惜，有时还和父母乱发脾气，通过这场电影，可以知道一个人只有在艰难中走出来才能得到胜利。所谓俗话说的好：吃得苦中苦，方为人上人。

It was Mark Twain’s humor that attracted me most。 But there was not only humor， people who read his books would learn something serious。 He told us： tell the truth forever， such of words you need not record you to once say somewhat。 Someone said that Mark Twain gave pleasurereal intellectual enjoyment to millions， and his work will continue to give such pleasure to millions yet to come。 His humor was American， but he was nearly as much appreciated by Englishmen and people of other countries as by his own countrymen。 He has made an enduring part of American literature。

In a word， I gained much from this fantastic novel， and learned a lot from Tom Sawyer。 And I believe that these harvests will have great effects on my whole life。

这本书讽刺了某些人抵制不住金钱对人的诱惑，认为金钱是万能的，现实中我认为金钱绝对不是万能的，金钱万能论是非常错误的。金钱能买到床铺，却买不到睡眠;金钱能买到食物，却买不到口味;金钱可以买到书本，却买不到知识……金钱的确可以满足人们的虚荣心，但是这些都是虚假的，最真实的还是人坦荡的生活。就像亚当斯一样，他失去了金钱，但是他依然乐观。

特别是描写鲍小姐的形象，“有人叫她‘熟食铺子’，因为只有熟食店会把那许多颜色暖热的肉公开陈列;又有人叫她‘真理’，因为据说‘真理’是赤裸裸的。

From Beauty’s suffering during his whole life time, we can see the tragic life of animals at that time. Some people ran after the so-called fashion blindly. In order to satisfy their own vanity，they ignored animals’ great pain. For example, Sir Oliver’s shortened tail. What the so-called fashion gave animals is great pain rather than a beautiful appearance. Some people knew nothing about how to keep animals, and were always making them work all day long. They abused the animals to make as much money as possible until they died. Therefore, on the day when the animals died, their holiday was on the way. For example, the poor Ginger that died for overwork. Though some people kept animals well, their main purpose was to have fun and to show off. They were more abominable. For example, in order to hunt for a hare, the rider killed himself at last and caused the wounded horse’s death. As Beauty said, it wasn’t worthwhile, wasn’t it? Those people who live under life pressure should find other ways to solve the problem, but not avoid it by hurting animals.

However, if one can treat animals kindly, the result will be different. Kind people who love animals, such as Mrs. Gordon, Joe, Jerry, get animals’ love and respect in return. As they were friendly to horses, horses are friendly to them and would like to do as much work as they can for them, even sacrifice themselves when their owners were in danger.

I am sure, animals and human can become good friends. No animals will do harm to human, if human have not frightened them first. Do not put the “bearing rein” on the animals. It is cruel.

At last, I want to conclude by a sentence from this book,“there is no religion without love, and people may talk as much as they like about their religion, but if it dose not teach them to be good and kind to other animals as well as humans, it is all a shame”

I was read the book which called “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”。 This story is about a clever boy called Tom Sawyer.

Tom is a naughty boy, he doesn’t like school and he doesn’t like work and he never wants to get up in the morning. But he like playing like swimming, fishing and having adventures with his friends. In this story he and his friend have a lot of adventures. These adventures can be dangerous. One night in the graveyard he and Huck see three men. Then Tom and his friends saw a murder. Joey killed the doctor and referred to Peter. Tom and his friends exposed Joey and caught him and became hero.

I think Tom is naughty but he is sympathetic and upright, he is brave he doesn’t afraid of Joey and full of his mind are wicked idea but he is clever and optimistic, he want his friend work for him, he make a lot of funny things.

This book let me know we need to “The road sees rough, gone to bat” to face difficult things we can’t shrink back and we need to fight with them. In the same time l know if only have a dream have pursuit and should try our best to do it , we can’t give up easily .

It just like in our study life we need to do our best. When we have problem we need to overcome it and get better scores.

The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingways most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.

I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.

On summer vacation of this year, I studied in novel " old man and sea " of Hemingway , famous writer of U.S.A. ,. I admire the old fishermans will in the novel very much, he lets me understand that a person must have unremitting spirit, could succeed . What the novel is described is an old fisherman almost the sixty years old, when go to sea and fish alone once, have angled to a big fish, but can not draw. After tough fisherman and fish have socialized for a few days, just find this is a big Malins fish which exceeds several times of ones own fishing boat, though know perfectly well that it is very difficult to win , does not give up yet. Because big Malin fish fishlike smell of wound attract odd herds of shark vie for the food again later, but the old man is still unwilling to give up like this, stress the tight encirclement finally , take the large fish back to fishing port , let other fishmen admire it endlessly. The old fisherman thinks that as I read ": It is really too close from here to coast, perhaps there are bigger fish in the farther place ……" When,admire very much because this old fisherman in the persons, because play not for some fishing he already at this moment I, but he is not satisfied with the existing state of affairs , but advance towards greater goal. Seeing us again, meet some little difficulties at ordinary times , all of us complain bitterly. We are the future of the motherland, should be as ambitious as this old man, go to pursue well , greater goal. We should study the old fishermans spirit too in life, do the thing and is not afraid of the difficulty , could achieve success . Old fishermans spirit that makes great efforts to struggle fearless of danger and difficulty that the novel has been extolled, we should be like him too, can t be satisfied with the current situation , should be positive upwards, it should be unremitting to do anything, it must not give up halfway to meeting difficulty should meet the difficulty. Only in this way, we could obtain greater success and victory .
