星期五，黄老师让我们背诵第四课，我不想背。因为我根本不会背。可又不能不背。要是被黄老师抽到，我就大难临头了。我不敢有侥幸的心理。

做完作业我只剩下背书一项。我无奈地拿起语文书。一个人躲到安静的地方。自己小声读了十遍，还是不会背。要命的文字，我总是记不住。时间一分一秒过去了。我记住了前面又忘记了后面。我又读了十遍，还是不会背。

我心浮气躁起来，急得不停地抓耳挠腮。妈妈看见了，走过来说：“可以一小段一小段背。大段分两三段一起背，再串起来背。”妈妈还说死记硬背是不行的。

我照着妈妈的方法试了一下，发现好多了。我背的时候边理解边记，然后再背诵。虽然背的过程有添词忘字的情况，但谢天谢地，总算背完了。
