The first thing we can do is to use cloth bags in stead of plastic bags when we go shopping. It helps to protect the environment. The second thing we can do is to reuse the old textbooks as possible as we can. We should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to save energy. I think my biggest problem is the love of two minds, take the last math exam for example: I had the score 100 points, because I be negligent, so a path of two minds, wrong, I will deduct 1 points, only 99 points, but I was careless, I think: anyway, I not like the 2 grade exam Eighty-nine points, on the line, I also got 10 points!

我叫郑好，今年9岁了，是个小女孩，身高差不多1.4米，是个中等个子，皮肤有些黄，是个地道的中国人。我胖胖的，在那又大又圆的脸上，镶着两颗葡萄似的大眼睛，鼻子是塌塌的，嘴巴小小的。

我的性格特征是:善解人意有同情心，很慷慨，完美主义，想象力丰富，个性温和也有时会很活泼，具超强的包容力，敏感爱幻想，不太有自信，不多愁但善感，三心二意，不善拒绝，思想很复杂。但这些都是同学们对我的评价。我觉得我最大的毛病就是爱三心二意，就拿上次数学考试来说吧:本来我该得满分100分的，就是因为我粗心大意，三心二意，错了那么一小道题，就扣了我1分，只得了99分，可我还是满不在乎的，我想:反正我没像2年级考试时得89分，就行了，我还进步了10分呢!

What animal do you like best ?Is it elephant ?Or tiger ?But my favorite animal is monkey . Because they have the yellow skin,a big mouth ,a small nose,and two big eyes .They climb trees quickly ,and they can pick bananas or apples .I think they are very lovely and interesting!

Christmas Day

圣诞节

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December. It is a very happy day for many boys and girls. Before the term ends in some schools, the children act a nativity or “birth” play, showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

12月25日是圣诞节。对许多男孩和女孩来说，这天是个非常开心的日子。在某些学校，学期结束前，孩子们会表演有关（耶稣）诞生或出生的戏剧，用来（向大家）展示耶稣是如何在马厩里出生的。

On the twenty-fourth of December, all children are very excited. Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready. The younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or fireplace, so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in. The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents. Later that night, father or mother will put presents in the sock, and leave others at the side of the bed.

在12月24日这天，所有的小孩都很兴奋。他们常常被（父母）早早地赶上床去睡觉，以便他们的父母能准备好礼物。年幼一点的小孩认为圣诞老人将从烟囱或壁炉里下来，所以他们挂起袜子，方便圣诞老人把礼物放进去。有些贪心的人，为了能得到更多的礼物，甚至把枕套或布袋挂起来。晚一些时候，爸爸或妈妈将礼物放进袜子，并把其他礼物放在（孩子们的）床边。

On Christmas morning, the children wake up very early. Some even turn on the light at two oclock, and most of them are awake by six oclock, and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared. 今天我和好朋友玲玲约好，清理小区的广告。

我和她各那拿上一根铁东西就出发了。我们先清理旧楼的广告，在第一层我们刮呀刮、抠呀抠，好长时间才清理了几个。突然，我想起我们还带着铁棍，就问她：“你的工具呢?”“谢谢你提醒我啊，我的手都快抠烂了!”清理完这层，我们决定清理报箱上的小广告，以免送报人因看不清号码而送错报纸。

我们来到新楼的报箱面前，我还没来得及说话，她就迫不及待地拿着小铁棍去抠小广告，我连忙拦住了她，说：“你用铁的，不就把报箱弄坏了吗?简直是帮倒忙!”“也对呀，你这小兔子脑袋想得很周到啊!”她边笑着边拍了拍我的小脑袋。于是，我们都用手抠，虽然手很疼，但看着一个个干干净净的报箱，打退堂鼓的念头早就被我们抛到九霄云外了。“天添帮帮我，这个小广告太难抠了，”我立刻过去帮她，在我们的共同努力下，这个“狗皮膏药”终于弄下来了，不早了，天已经渐渐黑了，我们唱着歌，高高兴兴地回家了。

这一天过得真有意义!
