小时接受中国传统教育，五岁唱着黄继光，王二小跳皮绳，七岁了解了中国红军精神。现在读了《钢铁是怎样炼成的》，没想到，外国也有红军。读起来亲切而又感人。一样的共产主义，一样的马思克思想，正义的旗帜打动了多少中国人的心。

初读到保尔时，觉得他像个“正直的小混混”。遇到维克多一样的恶人，一不称心便动用武力解决问题，与“君子动口不动手”，一点也不相符。

但当他被朱赫来拉入共产党后，我所看到的又是一个有理想，有抱负，有责任心的小领导人。

他坚强，受伤负险不叫苦。他认真，起早贪黑不休假。他善良，孝顺兄母宽待人。无论是风霜，雨雪，烈日，尘暴，没有什么可击垮他!无论是伤寒，肺炎，流弹，重病，没有什么可以击垮他!

钢铁的煅造需要意志力。保尔坚信着他的信仰。与女友分道扬镳，为工作奉献了青春，在病床上写小说，鞠躬尽瘁……

我想，保尔内心是满足的。——满足于为人类的解放而奋斗。——满足于他煅造了钢铁一样的精神，钢铁一样的意志!

咦，这本书的名字好奇怪，《钢铁是怎样炼成的》，钢铁不就是用火炼的吗，这还用说。在好奇心的驱使下，我成为了这本书的一位俘虏。我被他激昂的文字给深深地感染了、着迷了、感动了……这本书是苏联人奥斯特·洛夫斯基写的，由赵建所翻译的。

其实，这本书里炼的不是真正的钢铁，而是像钢铁一样坚守己之信念的心也。本书主角：保尔·柯察金，一位一代共青团委员、团州委书记，在后来因生病，从而退出，最后双目失明、双腿残疾，于是便奋发写作，写成《暴风雨所诞生的》小说三章，却被邮局弄丢了，他气的恨不得自杀，但还是不放弃，提起笔来重头开始，终于炼就了钢铁之心。

可见，练就钢铁之心的乃是坚持也，没有坚持就练不成钢铁，有了坚持才可炼成之。正所谓坚持乃生命之本也，没有坚持不成方圆，可见坚持是多么宝贵、多么重要。

坚持是什么?坚持就是在病魔面前不低头;坚持是什么?坚持就是虽然身负重伤，却仍然一心一意坚守在自己的岗位之上;坚持是什么?坚持就是就算被逼绝境，也不愿意向死神投降;坚持是什么?坚持就是……坚持的人才能真正的获得并领悟人生的炼钢术，只有他们才能使自己的心灵变得高洁，他们才是真正的人。
