Customs

1. At the same time, they too prepare food for the New Year day: The whole family will then stay awake together to attend to the year(called shou sui). Vegetarian and sweet foods will then be placed are the altar for offerings, and incense be burned to welcome the deities. In the ancient times, it was believed that haishi connected the two years and thus was called kaisui.

At the same night, some families will follow the instruction in Tongshu and place preparing altar in the direction of the "fortune deity" during the "fortune time" to receive the deity. If the direction of the "fortune deity" is at the "ill position", people will choose to receive "happy deity" or "noble deity" instead.

2. There is an apparent difference in the custom of food taking on Yuandan between the Chinese in the northern and southern regions. The northern Chinese has the habit of taking jiao zi(dumpling made of flour with vegetable and meat wrapped inside). Some people may put a sweet or a coin inside jiao zi, hoping to have a sweet year after tasting the sweet and a wealthy year after tasting the coin. on the other hand, the southern Chinese have the taboo for killing on Yuandan. Therefore, they do not take meat in tee morning of Yuandan, so as to avoid bloodshed or mutual slaughter. In order to evade misfortune, they have the first meal of this day without meat. Instead, they take vegetarian food for the sake of virtue.

3. What is special during the New Year is that parents or elders will distribute red packets(ang pao or ya sui qian)to the children. People in the ancient times were more particular in giving away the red packets: the distribution took place on the eve of New Year so that the kids could suppress the past year and enter the New Year. Ya sui has the meaning of overcoming the unpredictable future. Representing the wishes for the healthy psychological growth of the children, ya sui qian symbolises the elders hope to see their children overcome all the unpredictable elements brought by the "year".

小时候，天真的我总是怀揣很多理想，直到我四岁那一年，一颗满载着希望和梦想的种子，在我心里深深扎根，那就是做一名医生。一名医生，身着白大褂，再病人最需要的时候伸出援助之手，给他们带去希望以及战胜病痛的信心，履行着“白衣天使”的神圣使命，与疾病相抗衡。在我心目中，他们的职业是伟大而崇高的。那时，正是非典爆发时期。非典病魔肆掠北京城的时候，恐怖的气氛笼罩在北京上空，不断有疑似病历出现，弄得人心惶惶。就在这时，白衣天使们不顾个人安危，面对家人的不理解，冒着被传染病毒的危险，日夜奋战在这生死战场上。那时的我只有四岁，被关在家里，看着电视。从电视中看到了一场感人的故事：一名医生，从隔离开始就战斗在第一线，大家让他休息，他总是固执地说：“我已经上了一线这么长时间了，有了一定的经验，可以更好的履行我的职责，重新换人又加大了感染源，我在干一段时间吧?”这位好医生已数月未跟家里联系，他把对家的思念深深得埋在心底，更加忘我的工作。终于，他被传染上了非典，因为发现得太晚，已到了危重的关头，他的家庭陷入了深深的悲痛之中，可这位医生在隔离区受记者采访时，尽管眼里噙着泪水，无限留恋这美丽的世界，却依旧坚定的说：“请把我的遗体交给医学组织用于解剖，尽早解决非典疫苗，让更多的病人早日离开医院，早日回家团圆。”这位医生的无私奉献精神深深的打动了我，我为他的殉职而痛苦，更为他那坚定不移的信念所敬佩!他去世时年仅36岁，还那么年轻，生命对他来说是那么的短暂，我不禁对他肃然起敬，心里轻轻地说：“叔叔，在等二十年，二十年后，我一定向您一样，做一名无私奉献的白衣天使!愿您一路平安!”直至今天，那位医生坚贞不屈的话语，仍回荡在我耳畔…。。从那时起，我就明确了我的理想，那就是做一名医生，一名无私的白衣天使。

的确，理想是一盏明灯，照亮夜行的路;理想是永恒的风帆，推动我们前往成功的彼岸……当然，理想也是一股动力，使我们朝着自己心中的理想，坚强前进，永不气馁。让我们为理想插上翅膀，去塑造于我的白衣天使之梦!

白衣天使：

你们好！

这次的疫情牵动着每一个人的心，但，最憔悴的还是冲在抗击疫情的最前锋的你们。你们是谁的母亲父亲？你们又是谁的儿女？你们是个普通人，但不得不各司其职，挑起抗击疫情的重任。

因为疫情，你们不能与家人团聚；因为疫情，你们到处奔波；因为疫情，你们不吃不睡，不知疲倦的工作。你们奋战一线，一路上披荆斩棘，无所畏惧。你们舍己为人，用自己的生命换来他人的健康。因为有你，我们悬着的心才放下。你们就是天使！身着白衣，闪闪发光，驱除病魔，无所畏惧。谢谢你们！

黑夜来临，你们就是那一盏盏明灯，照亮我们。这是一场没有硝烟的战争，但我相信我们一定会战胜疫情！为了家家户户健康平安，你们奉献出了自己，这怎能不让人心生敬仰？

为了阻止肆虐的病毒，你们愿意以生命为代价，与疫情战斗，发扬救死扶伤，无私奉献的精神。你们丝毫没有畏惧，将生死置之度外，你们是我们的英雄，是最可爱的人！.You have no fear. You are our heroes and the cutest people!

亲爱的白衣天使，真心祝愿你们一切安好，永远福安康，等到病毒被消灭的时候，希望你们能早日回归到普通人的身份，睡上一觉，醒来又是美好的一天！和朋友说说话，和家人吃顿饭，那时候在发自内心的道一声“新年快乐”好吗？

放眼望去，那些医护人员早已累到虚脱，他们来不及洗漱，就着防护服，便躺在狭窄的角落里沉沉入睡，为的不过是随时待命去病魔手里抢人-----在这幅令人心酸的景象的背后，是夜以继日的工作，是与病毒抗战到底的决心，是默默付出的汗水辛劳。他们从五湖四海而来，但目标却只有一个-----救人!他们的护目镜内，是因不停的奔波而被汗水的蒸汽笼罩着;在他们的脸上，是视死如归的神情;哪怕只剩下最后一套手套，口罩，防护服，靴子，他们也要勇往直前，丝毫不退步。他们每天都劳累不堪，但他们有着恒心和毅力，依旧乐观向上，互相加油打气。坚韧，无畏，尽责，坚守，无私，敬业，奉献，忘我，执着，所有这些动人的词汇都属于他们。每个时代都有不同的英雄，此时此刻，战斗在一线的医护人员就是这些隐忍而伟大的英雄。他们每一个举动，都值得我们尊重、赞颂。加油武汉，加油，白衣天使，愿你们早日凯旋而归!

新年，本应万家团圆，但今年对千千万万医护人员而言，却是一个不寻常的新年。因为职责与担当，他们义不容辞，奔赴了一场没有硝烟的战争前线——抗击“新型冠状病毒”。

它是世界人民人人喊打的“过街鼠”。它残害了多少人的生命，是它乱闯入我们的生活，让我们痛苦。被他带走的人的家人是该如何痛苦？它就是一个死神，胡乱挥舞着收割人命的镰刀；它就是一个厉鬼，拼命地传播着身上的恶毒；它就是一台绞肉机，疯狂地危害着人的健康。

“新型冠状病毒”这个令人谈虎色变的字眼，跳跃到了我们的眼前，扰乱了我们的生活。正当人人都畏惧、无法奈何时，一群可爱又勇敢的“白衣天使”来到了我们的身边，那就是医生。他们仿佛是黑暗中的.明灯，给了我们希望。

他们没日没夜地与死神作斗争，不惜用生命做代价，救下了一个又一个与死神擦肩而过的病人。

他们是人们的救星，人们的勇士。他们怀着医者仁心、医道无私的理念。他们值得我们永世歌颂。“天边瑞鼠正相迎，异物横生搅太平。救死白衣争赴难，严防号令早发声。中枢定策群英奋，上下齐心技艺精。指日破冰凭圣手，寒流渡尽沐春风！”

我们要加强锻炼，保持室内通风，多洗手，勤刷牙，外出一定戴口罩，日常用品多清洗……做好充足的预防准备。

等天亮之后，我们一定不能忘记，那漫长冬夜里，为我们披霜冒雪的守夜人。

最美的白衣天使们

你们好!

新型冠状病毒于2020悄然来临，席卷全城。是你们——最亲爱的白衣天使们挺身而出，为这座城带来希望。当知道有疫情发生时，你们积极应对。当这一封封摁了指印的请战书通过视频传入我的眼帘时，我的内心只剩震撼与钦佩。当看着你们因为穿着隔离服，不好加油打气而在衣服背后写下自己的名字时，我非常感动。大年三十的那天晚上，我看见了一份特别的“年夜饭”，在隔离区奋战的你们在应该团聚的日子里，只能吃着些零食充饥，可你们还觉得非常满足，这一切的一切都牵动着每个人的心。

我觉得每个女孩都有着爱美之心，可为了节省时间穿隔离服去救治更多的病人，许多医护人员选择剪掉长发，甚至是剃成光头，但这丝毫不影响你们的美丽，当你们面对着镜头笑时，我只希望你们每个人都能平安归来。我在网上看过很多要奔赴武汉或其他城市的白衣天使们与家人分离的场景，其实你们的心中也明白，这一去，也许就是天人永隔。你们抱着家人微笑安抚的模样，让我不禁落泪情感也在这一瞬间全数迸发。白衣天使们，你们是伟大的!

你们那布满口罩印记的脸，不禁让人感觉到心疼。最令我动容的是一份聊天记录中说“我家中父母健康，我单身没孩子，没有顾虑，让我去吧”。还有的医护人员甚至想过自己如果不幸染病，要捐献自己的遗体。看到这我只想说“哪有什么平安幸福，只不过是有你们在前线为我们遮风挡雨啊!”你们昼夜不分的工作，累的连饭都吃不下，哪一桩，哪一件，不值得我们为之动容?

白衣天使也不是神，他们也会累，他们只不过换了身衣服和死神在抢人。有的白衣天使们经历过非典，面对这传染性更强的新型冠状病毒，再一次勇敢的站了出来，你们舍弃小家为了大家，这样的一点一滴我们都会记在心里。白衣大褂成为了我们心中最美的风景，你们的健康和笑容是对我们最大的慰藉。

我相信，中国只是生了一场病，她很快就会好起来的。03年的非典我还没有出生，现在就让我们和你们这些优秀又勇敢的白衣天使们一起为武汉加油!为中国加油!
