作为当代年轻的一代，我们应该采取措施来控制塑料袋的使用。我们可以用布袋来替代塑料袋或者重复使用。政府也可以制定规定来避免使用塑料袋。如果我们努力做好，塑料袋的使用就可以减少了，从而白色污染也会得到控制。

I am pleased to invite you to a luncheon, to be held by the Monterey Institute of International Studies on October 12, 2006 at noon, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the death of General Stilwell and in honor of his daughter, Mrs. Nancy Stilwell Easterbrook. Mrs. Easterbrook was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Monterey Institute and founder of the Stilwell Scholarship, which is dedicated to supporting students from China.

For many years until she passed away, Nancy had served as a goodwill ambassador of the American people who made unremitting efforts to promote exchanges between the United States and China. The Stilwell Scholarship she founded helps support deserving students from China who have come to the Monterey Institute to pursue professional degrees in translation and interpretation, international policy studies, language teaching and business management.

“啊，真累!”晚上，我躺在床上，懒洋洋的，累得不想动了。不过回想起今天所做的一切，就觉得所有累都值了。

“叽叽喳喳，叽叽喳喳”清晨，臂上缠着一根印有“公园监督员”的红布带的我，蹦蹦跳跳地来到公园，开始了我为期一天的“工作”。我先把公园的垃圾全都扫走，然后将池塘漂浮着的垃圾捞起来后，游客就陆续进公园游玩了。

我在公园里巡逻了快一个小时，没有发现乱扔垃圾的人。我正为没有人破坏环境而高兴，就在这时，我发现有个男孩，正站在一棵柳树前，手里不知拿着什么，在树干上挖呀挖呀。我叫住那个小男孩，小男孩转过身，看看我手臂上的红布带，又看看我，脸上红红的。我终于看见小男孩手中拿的是一把小刀子，我恍然大悟。我严肃地对小男孩说：“树木是我们人类的朋友，它可以不让水土流失，保卫我们的家园，我们应该爱护它们。保护环境，从我做起!”小男孩听了，脸涨得更红了，连声说：“对不起，对不起，我再也不在树上刻字了。”我笑了，他也笑了。

我继续巡逻，忽然，一颗小石头在我头上“降落”了。我拾起小石头，看到几个用石头打小鸟的小伙子。我走上前对他们说：“公园里不能打小鸟!”小伙子们轻篾地看了我一眼，说：“关你什么事，丫头。”“当然关我事，我是公园的监督员。小鸟是人类的好朋友，它们虽然弱小，但它们能为大自然增添一道亮丽的风景，不能捕捉小鸟。保护环境，应该从我做起!”小伙子们脸一红，放下手中的石头，扭头走了。

下午，我还阻止了几个小女孩摘花，劝人们不能随地吐痰，提醒人们不能践踏草地……一天终于过去了，我累得手臂也抬不起来了。

渐渐地，我入睡了。梦中，小鸟、小草、花儿、树木都笑得很灿烂，还对我说，保护环境，从我做起!

My friend and I

My name is Li BaoLing . I have a good friend . Her name is Chen ZiQing . I am 13 years old . She is as old as me. I am 155cm tall. She is 150cm tall . She is 5cm shorter than me . I am 36kg . She is 37kg . She is heavier than me .She often does homework with me .We always help each other. I am happy to have a good firend .

Now, people dont speak hygiene, make the earth became very clean.

Factory waste water into the river discharge, discharge waste water will not think about it, if people drink the water, what will happen?

Also, people cut down trees, on the lawn, people will think of these things, without the trees, how do we have the fresh air and oxygen, no grass we how green home! Besides, if sandstorm comes, without the trees blocking, what will become of our home.

Why are both street trash can, this is to remind people not to throw rubbish everywhere, put the rubbish in the garbage can. But, a lot of people love throwing garbage everywhere, this kind of behavior not only damage the image of our home, what also polluted the earth again.

I want to tell everyone: "protecting the environment is to love life!" To protect the environment, we should start from the side, starts from me, to build our homes more beautiful!

现在，人们都不讲卫生，使地球变得很不干净。

工厂里的废水向河里排，排废水的人会不会想想，如果人类喝了那些水，会怎么样?

还有，人们砍伐树木，踏入草坪，做过这些事的人会不会想想，没有了树木我们怎么有新鲜的空气和氧气，没有了小草我们怎么绿化家园啊!再说，如果沙尘暴来了，没有了树木的阻挡，我们的家园会变成什么样。

为什么街道旁都有垃圾桶，这是提醒人们不要随地乱扔垃圾，把手中的垃圾扔进垃圾桶里。但是，很多人都爱随地扔垃圾，这种行为不仅损坏我们家园的形象，还让地球再一次的被污染。

我想告诉大家：“保护环境就是爱护生命啊!”要想保护环境，就要从身边做起，从我做起，把我们家园建设得更加美丽吧!

一个小村庄的故事 在一片河坡上，早先有过一个很像样的小村庄。 一年年，一代代，山坡上树木不断减少，裸露的土地不断扩大。树木变成了各家个户的一间间、一栋栋房子，变成了各式各样的工具，应有尽有的家具，还有大量的树木随着屋顶冒出的饿柴烟消失在天空中了……

不管怎么样，河坡上的家家户户靠着锋利的斧头， 日子过得还都不错。 然而，不知过了多少年，多少代，在一个雨水奇多的八月，大雨没喘气儿，下了五天五夜，到第六天黎明，雨停下来。可是小村庄却被咆哮的洪水不知卷向了何处。 什么都没有了——所有靠斧头得到的一切，包括那些锋利的斧头。讲解： 这篇短文告诉了我们不应该乱砍滥伐，要爱护树木，刻意的去保护它．如果我们不爱护树木，就会造成不必要的伤害．

地球，曾经是我们人类快乐的家园。山清水秀、鸟语花香的那个地球在哪?充满欢笑的地球在哪?

地球在呼救!奄奄一息的地球在向人类呼救!如今的地球，已不见昔日之美，昔日之平静。如今，被硝烟弥漫的地球，被垃圾包围的地球，被人类破坏的已伤痕累累的地球，向我们呼救，呼救保护我们生存的家园!

地球啊母亲，我们从小在您的心窝中长大，年幼的我们，似懂非懂地为您栽下了小树的幼苗，无知的我们，向往着您那美好的花园。可是，如今，我们长大了，您用血液汇成的河流已被污染，您用飘然的长发变成的森林已被破坏!随着科学技术的发展，人们对资源的需求量也越来越高，高楼林立的城市，工厂的硝烟飞散到地球的各个角落;规模宏大的工厂，废水、废气统统排向了小河!

还我美丽的地球! 昔日欢声笑语的大山在哪里?昔日溪水潺潺的小河在哪里?昔日游动的鱼儿在哪里?昔日可爱的动物在哪里? 人类啊!还我可爱的地球!

我们的地球，已变的不再欢乐，变的.暴怒无常!泛滥的河水，怒号的大海，崩塌的群山……在人类的呼救声中，人们遭受到了大自然的报应!

是的，只有一个地球。世界上仅仅只有一个地球，一旦失去就不能挽回，一旦失去就不可再得! 只有一个地球!人类啊!梦也该醒醒了吧?

只有一个地球!爱护身边的一草一木，保护身旁的树木吧!人类啊!你们也该到知道的时候了!破坏地球就等于自残，保护我们的地球吧!保护这个美好的家园!

Dear Sir,

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. This I hope will help me enter into business commerce with business organizations partnering with Chinas economic development.

I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. But I dont know if the result of the test is recognized by your university. If so, can it be a help for me to apply for the scholarship?

爱我家乡，保护环境——《我是90后》读后感今天，我看了一本非常有意思的书——《我是90后》，这本书有的是写破坏环境造成严重后果的，有的是写环境保护的方式方法的，我最感兴趣的是怎样保护环境这部分内容。听爷爷说，我的家乡原先生态环境非常好。

上世纪八十年代，农民积极响应党的号召，种草种树，绿化荒山，公路两旁都种着高大的杨树，柳树。山上也被保护起来，种着杏树、桃树，梨树等。到了春天，漫山遍野的桃花、杏花竞相开放，整座山变成粉红色。到了晚春季节，桃花、杏花都逐渐凋落，一阵风吹来，桃杏花的花瓣随风飘舞，空气中弥漫着淡淡的花香，沁人心脾。山上的桃花杏花太美了，所以人们都把这座山叫桃花山。马路两旁的树，手挽着手，肩挨着肩，走在马路上，非常凉爽，只能看到星星点点的阳光从叶缝里洒下来。

傍晚，孩子们在树荫底下玩耍，大人们就靠在树上谈天说地，在沙沙的风声中，人们爽朗的笑声传得很远，很远。不知道从什么时候起，人们象疯了一样，肆意破坏环境。路旁的树都被砍没了，只剩下光秃秃的、矮矮的树桩，汽车从马路上经过，扬起一阵阵尘土，好半天都落不下来。山上的树也被砍了，剩下不多的几颗，半死不活。太阳好像比原来毒了，树木的叶子都耷拉着，树上挂着的果子、杏子都营养不良似的，皱皱巴巴。

山上的草叶枯萎了，露出了黄黄的土色，真的是干山枯岭。遇到大暴雨，很稠的泥水从山上流下来，堆积到河床上，太阳一晒，裂开了很宽的口子，像被魔鬼折磨过似的，非常可怕。人们的生活水平提高了，产生的垃圾也多了，塑料薄膜、塑料袋，坏的瓜皮……满地都是，成了苍蝇、蚊子的乐园。事实上，老家的环境的确需要保护了，作为90后的我们，我们有责任把家乡保护好，建设好！我想我们应该从小做起，从现在做起。我要和伙伴组成环保小队，定期捡拾垃圾。

我们要把垃圾分类处理，像菜叶子、洋芋皮，树叶……这一类垃圾我们要集中起来，把它们填埋，变垃圾为肥料；还有像费脏纸，塑料袋。把它们拿到偏远的地方，我们把它们烧掉；还有像费铁，啤酒瓶，纸皮…。。这一类我们把它交到垃圾处理场，再次利用。在生活中，我们倡议尽量少用一次性筷子，节约用水用电，出门尽量步行，或骑自行车，最好不开机动车。我们还要开发新能源，尽可能多地使用太阳能、风能等清洁能源，倡导低碳生活。这样家乡的空气就会好起来，家乡的山会更绿，天会更蓝，生活在这里的人们身体会更加健康，更加幸福。爱我家乡，保护环境，从我做起，从现在做起。
